Aerith smiled, she was still embarrased but it felt better to laugh along than to get laughed at. Then she paled slightly.

"Oh, sensei. the ramen... gomen! I didn't mean to disrupt your meal!"

She looked almost miserable.

Aerith ran the few steps to catch up and then followed her sensei closely. She looked around her constantly wondering where they were going. Being in a strnge place always made her nervous but she was slowly getting used to moving around.

Aerith stared at him for a second before wnadering over to a shop, she disappeared inside and started to look at the various things.

It was a clothing shop, she had found a section with all the fabric, ribbons, buttons, lace everything possible. She found a light blue strip of ribbon and went back outside. She was being as quiet and meek as a yound child she pointed to the ribbon shyly.

She showed the ribbon to the saleswoman and then handed her the money. She gave the purse absent mindedly back to her sensei and wandered out of the shop staring at the pretty blue ribbon in her hands.

She stood outside for a moment before frunning back inside the shop. When she came out she had the ribbon wound delicately around her arm. She had her other arm behind her back.

She walks up to him and then lifts her hadns up to his hair. She swiftly plaits in the other half of the ribbon that she asked the sales woman to cut. then she steps back from him and looks at the plait. She tilts her head, steps forawrd and lifts the plair forward so it rest in front of his shoulder.

Then she steps back and smiles.

She laughed a little and smiled cutely.

"It suits you Sensei!"

A man walked past with a little child who looked stopped in front of Aerith and looked up at her. Aerith was a bit flustered for a second and didn't know what to do. So she smiled and waved at the little girl. It ran after her father and clinged to his leg, practically crying.

"Tou-san! The girl has scary eyes!"

The man picked her up and sat her on his hip.

"Don't be silly Kite, and that's a mean thing to say. I'm sorry about..."

He had turned around to apologise but Aerith was just staring at the child a vacant yet pained expression in her eyes. He turned around and hurried away. Aerith gaze dropped to the floor.

Aerith smiled back up at him but shook her hed slightly.

"Gomen Sensei but I don't think it's that."

She looked up at him and took a deep breath then pulled back her fringe fully revealing her eyes. In the pools of bright blue lay two shaply outlined cresent pupils. Around them her blue eyes were flecked with tiny touches of yellow. After a moment she lowered her fringe again. There had been slight signs of the jutsu but it mostly just apeared like she was tired.

"I don't know why my eyes are like this but that how they've always been. My entire clan has these eyes and is partly a reason for our name... Isra, in arabic it's journey by night. When we sleep, well, sometimes we develop more abilities. Its all very random and when I left the clan was barely tapping into how and why we have these eyes but they had managed to link them to our sleep."

She stopped after running out of things to say. That little girl had just made Aerith remember the main reason she had been shunned and moved on from place to place for a while.
