Oh well. I tried. The post was a bit tongue-in-cheek anyway.
By the way, this is an Imperial Guard thread you plank. Speak Gothic or die.

I don't see anything wrong with my dialect of low gothic. I do see why so many people dislike you. emo

And expensive, for if you really want them, forgeworld is the answer. Same with my tallarn. That's why I go with old skool pewter. I just hope they make a "ragtags" upgrade sprue for guardsmen... it would solve so many modeling issues of mine...

Commissar Hark I just hope they make a "ragtags" upgrade sprue for guardsmen... it would solve so many modeling issues of mine... You have to get stuff like that from random places, like Kroot or Brettonian upgrade sprues.

I got a bunch of kroot stuff on my tallarn, like shoulderpads and the cool curved knives and other gear, and a few hunks of meat for my orks.
But I'm talking about stuff like hoods, torn uniforms, taped-up lasguns, gasmasks, greatcoats, camo cloaks, y'know. All the stuff I'm too lazy to sculpt out of greenstuff.

Using the few cadian bits I had laying around, I pumped out five guys with gasmashs using a glob of greenstuff, some plasticard rod, and sprue chunks. Just glob some greenstuff over the face of the helmet-heads, cut two tiny rounds out of plasticard rod for the eye-holes, and use a circular peice of sprue for the gas canister, and viola! old-skool gasmask heads! now I just got to get the motivation to churn out like fifty more.

Wow =o Good luck with that xD Something like that I would probably get about 10 done then get bored and stop doing them >> Be sure to post a pic of some finished ones, I would love to see it.

Budding airborne and vietnam veterans rejoice. And remember: heretics don't surf! talk2hand

*dances like an idjit*
You have no idea how happy that makes me. Sure, the Valkyries will cost as much as Land Raiders, but they'll be soooooooo much fun to field.
Wait...no they won't. They're just skimmers by these rules. Damn.

*cough*
I can't cite my source (because they'd get in trouble) but the next codex will allow for a fully legal Armored Company. My response: ******** yes!

Plastic Valkyries sound tempting enough for me to start an air cavalry, should fit in nicely with this Thunderbolt that I have lying in bits. I just need to find a way to get those pesky Elysians! sweatdrop
