Maddy stayed silent for a few minutes, watching as the sun began to set over the ocean. She then sighed and got to her feet.
"Our rooms are ready at Coumarine Hotel now. I'll teleport us all back to our new 'base'." She told everyone, letting out her Alakazam.
With another flash of white light, they were all teleported to Coumarine City, outside the hotel. The town was placed by the sea like Cyllage, but it was on a high cliff so there was no beach to enjoy. Half of the city was also only accessible via train.
Maddy stifled a yawn.
"Well, I'm sorry not too much happened tonight. Some innocent fun seemed needed, though." She gave them all a weak smile. "Good night!"
With that, she entered the hotel and went off to find her room. Her Alakazam disappeared, off to work on moving everyone's belongings from one hotel to the other.

Michael was on the roof of the hotel, drawing, when he got the message. He jumped up and headed down the fire escape. When he touched the ground he let out a shrill whistle. Squirt, Draco, Changeling, and Spike came running to him. He then got on his bike and began peddling towards route 13.

After separating from the others, Rose went in search of a Pokemon, accompanied by her shiny Azuril and her mareep. Things seemed quiet until a pair of Gible surfaced, using dig attacks and one striking Azuril and the other striking Mareep.

Caught off guard, Mareep fainted from the attack and Azuril did not appear to be much better. Rose recalled Mareep and sent out her Meowth in it's place "Meowth, use Pay Day, Azuril, use Scald" Rose ordered (+250 PD)

The two attacks converged on one of the Gible and made it faint, while the second Gible struck Azuril with a bulldoze, making the young shiny Pokemon faint. Rose sent out her Skrelp as well, then noticed one of the Gible fainted "Good job Meowth, Leave it to Skrelp for now. Skrelp, Hydro Pump"

Meowth obeyed and wandered off as Skrelp attacked, but Gible dodged it and countered with a Bulldoze. Rose hadn't expected the hydro pump to miss, she had expected that to finish the fight, but instead the super effective attack made Skrelp faint.

She called back Skrelp and sent out Froakie, leaving her Eevee for last "Blizzard!" she ordered.

Froakie's blizzard struck, dealing heavy damage and Rose followed that up by throwing a Pokeball at the Gible, which was drawn inside.

With the capture successful, Gible was sent to her Pokemon storage and Rose recalled her Froakie to it's Pokeball as Meowth came back and dropped a Pokeball near her feet. She knelt, thanked Meowth, and picked up the Pokeball, then she and Meowth turned and headed back to the Coumarine Hotel.

Rei followed his comrades into the wastelands on Route 13, more than a little excited to see the desert-like area. Under his hood, the Countess squirmed. She was never a fan of midday adventures, thanks to her delicate skin. A blast of dirt and sand greeted Rei and his Zubat as the group exited the gate. He grinned.

Almost like home.

He spent an hour exploring the land, thoroughly enjoying himself. He noted the behaviors of the Pokémon in the area, specifically the Trapinch. Rei smiled as he remembered his old nemesis, a crafty Trapinch in the Hoenn deserts. As he continued writing down his observations in his field journal, a blue fin emerged from the ground. It took Rei and his Zubat a moment to register what it was, but before they could react, the fin disappeared underground.

"Huh. A Gible. I wonder if-"

WHAM! A force from underground launched him from his feet and into the air for a meter. He tumbled onto the ground, catching his breath. A Gible was laughing where he once stood. Fighting down the embarrassment from showing in his voice, he pulled out a Pokéball and tossed out his Horsea.

"Leviathan, Bubblebeam! Don't stay in one spot and be quick about it," he called out as he watched the Gible disappear into the ground again. The earth trembled beneath his feet, and he leaped out of the way, the Gible's jaw barely missing his ankles. The Horsea shot out her stream of water-laden bubbles, trying her best to not hit her Trainer. The Gible cried out in pain and glared at the Horsea.

"Ha, serves you right for ignoring her," Rei teased. The Gible, effectively taunted, dove underground once more and raced towards the unfortunate Aquan.

"Hey, wait, don't fight me!" Rei cried out in astonishment at the Gible's callous disregard for its targets. The blue fin poked out from the ground, headed straight for Rei. Leviathan was waiting for it, though. Timing her shot, she waited until the moment the Gible surfaced and lunged at Rei before firing her pressurized cannon-blast of water.

Sure, the attack hit Rei and the Countess, but she saved him!

Rei only had time to groan and put a hand between the Zubat and the force of water before he, the Zubat, and Gible were all blasted away. As he tumbled to a stop, he pulled out an empty Great Ball.

"Well, better catch this troublemaker. Here goes." He tossed out the ball, hoping it would catch. In three clicks, it was over. Rei sighed in relief, watched the ball disappear to the storage system, and promptly passed out for a few minutes.

At his belt, a Poké Ball shook in happiness. The Countess frowned. That Magikarp really was getting spoiled. EXP Shares were almost unfair. She huffed; it'd probably be the most pathetic Gyarados ever when it did evolve.

When she received the text, Rose wasn't far from the docks anyway, so she decided to check it out and found Allen at the boat rental place, walking over to him.

Allen looked around after finishing with the booth attendant, he found the two approaching members. "Hey!" He called to them with a small wave, "You guys wanna go on a ride out into Azure Bay?" He thumbed toward the booth, "Unfortunately the only boat they have doesn't come with a motor or even oars. We'd have to let our Pokemon pull the boat." He shrugged. "Or we could just swim out with our Pokemon."

Michael and his three water pokemon were under the water when his T.A.D.S beeped back on land. Spike was still on the ground with Draco and looked over at the beeping device, but decided to ignore it and sleep some more. A few moments later Michael surfaced next to the boat and noticed his teammates were there. "Um hey. What's goin on here?"
