Have you seen all the crap I've done to Kumo?
Unless Tachi can:
• Defect from his village without fear of being caught
• Launch an epic attack that blew up one of the village ninja, decimated the ramen shop, caused a ninja to lose his leg, sent a demon host to the hospital (in which she could have been snatched away) and curse another demon host.
• Create an epic secret organization in which the village jounin and a demon host defected from their village to join, and have people saying they want to join without knowing what it is they are joining.
• Have a whole village preparing to kill him.
• Do I have to mention the chidori?
Then he's not on Genzai's level of badass yet. Yeah he defended the gates but that's his job. He's ordered to do that xD

btw shouldnt the forest of the clouds be well on its way to growing back? I think Vaporized probably no longer applies.

well the replanted trees would be tall, and there would be at least grass. the newer trees are probably still pretty small though
