Does hit and run with a melee weapon count as a form of ranged fighting?
Can it be classified in the same category as shooting arrows/throwing javelins/slinging rocks/shooting spells?
I'm unsure of this.

Might be bored enough to have my mage Arthus Le Wolfe, my transmuter specialist mess with spells for a Dwarf and have him fight in the Exhibition ring.
Anyone willing to fight an Augmented Dwarf managed by a Greedy mage sometime tonight?

Evil Little Flayer Does hit and run with a melee weapon count as a form of ranged fighting? Can it be classified in the same category? I'm unsure of this. Depends on the weapon, usually not really though. For instance my succubus uses a whip. She's not a ranged character, because when you say ranged it usually means a pretty long range. But she does classify as a zoning character who controls space effectively. Characters with staffs, huge swords, and other weapons like that would most likely fall into a controlling space category before a ranged category.
