Alex: It's okay to like to give, but just be careful you don't get picked up by a gold digger.
I mean, I wish my boyfriend would give me presents for no reason, but I also want to give him presents for no reason. I often want to buy him video games and stuff, but stop myself because I know he can't afford to get me a present in return, and he'd feel bad.
The problem with my boyfriend is that he dosen't realize that I'd like random presents for no reason (I mean, how do you tell him that without sounding greedy?). Also, I don't really care about the monetary value of the present. I personally love it when he draws me pictures or makes sprite comics or flash cartoons. And, you know, rocks are free...
Edit: But yeah, what I wanted to say, don't give a girl gifts if she dosen't give in return. I mean, if she can't afford physical gifts, she can make things and do acts of kindness. But if you buy her a huge diamond and tons of chocolates and all she does all day is sit around...
