Then again, Maya had been training since basically birth, so maybe she shouldn't feel all that broken up about it. spaceKendall's attempt to hit Will had nearly resulted in being knocked off his own broom as he horribly miscalculated where he was in relation to the bludger. But, he didn't get hit himself, and didn't fall off, so that was a positive, at least. Frowning, he made another attempt, this time aiming for Talbot.

Wren had been spenting most of his time just dodging both people and balls and trying not to get lost in the action. But at some point he spotted a clear path to the Gryffindor chaser with the quaffle ahead and urged his broom to a sprint, closing in on her in an attempt to steal.
