Orion smiled and gave a short, slightly nervous laugh. "I'm not exactly a student, but yeah. I just think that in order to give it your all in a real fight, you have to give it your all during training too," he replied, then put a finger to his chin for a moment, looking up in thought. "Then again, that wasn't really all out now that I think about it. More like seventy-five percent? Possibly eighty?" Orion muttered to himself for a brief flash, mulling over needless details of his training session, trying to decide whether or not he was working at one-hundred percent capacity. In all honesty, he wasn't trying to jump into a full on training session. It was more so just to make sure he didn't forget the Shigure Soen forms. Just as quickly as he had fallen into thought, he snapped back out of it with a shake of his head.
"What about you? I'm assuming you're here for training too? Or did a staff member send you to kick me out of here? I wasn't trying to break any rules," Orion's eyes widened slightly, concerned that he was in some kind of trouble. His eyes glanced around as if trying to look for anyone else who might be on their way to take him off of the property. ย โฌโฌเฎโฌโฌเฎโฌโฌโง xxxx โงโฌโฌเฎโฌโฌเฎโฌโฌ

Megumi nodded along with his first thought, the one that answered her question: not a student, hard worker. She was about to address what she saw to be flaws in that thinking, but she waited, watching the blue haired boy suck himself into his own headspace for a moment. She couldn't help chuckling to herself a little.
"Oh yeah?" she said with a trace of a smile still there. "I'll bet you're something awfully powerful anyway. It looks like a hurricane came through here!" She wasn't so much appalled as impressed.
"I'm nobody's boss, though, so don't even worry about that. I just came over to make sure you weren't dead..." She nodded to a place where people used to stand. "People were, um, talking. But," she re-brightened, "you seem to be okay, and the computer even registered you it looks like, so kudos on that. You know, not many outside the academy can say that. The sensors must not have detected much evil in your soul--or however it works." She giggled a little.
Wait a minute... Did he ask if she was going to train? Why on earth would she do something like that?
"Um..." She shuffled a little, scraping at the newly wet mud. "I don't really train much. It's kind of a hassle." She gave a sigh and shifted her weight. "I mean, it's a little dangerous for me to train alone... More so than the average person, mister tough guy," she teased with giggle.

Orion cocked his head to the side ever so slightly. "Powerful? I wouldn't say that. More so, I know how to use what I can do to the fullest. It's all chalked up to practice at the end of the day," he responded with a hint of amusement in his voice. He liked being complimented, but not so much that they went to his head. The hurricane comparison wasn't entirely off base, though. There had been a lot of water being thrown around a few moments ago. Of course, not by wind, but it was close enough.
Orion glanced in the direction Megumi nodded and began wondering how much noise he had been making. He didn't think it was that loud, but that could have been because he was used to it. Or maybe they all heard him get slammed against one of the barriers. "I don't know how they work myself, to be completely honest. I kind of just imitated what a friend did yesterday and it responded. I think she registered me in it's system, so maybe that is why it let me use it?" Orion scratched his damp head and shook his head vigorously, trying to get whatever droplets of water that had been leftover out of his hair.
"How is it dangerous?" Confusion tainted the blue haired male's voice. Orion had never heard anyone say it was dangerous for them to train alone. "You must have complete confidence in your skills then," he teased back. "What exactly could put you in harms way when you're training?"ย โฌโฌเฎโฌโฌเฎโฌโฌโง xxxx โงโฌโฌเฎโฌโฌเฎโฌโฌ Sorry, things got kinda hectic IRL over the last couple days sweatdrop

(Oh, no worries. It's school time~ We're all swamped)
Megumi couldn't help giggling a little at Orion when he tried to dry himself off the way a dog might. He didn't have a towel, true, but that didn't make it any less funny. She couldn't remember the last time she didn't feel like a complete creep trying to talk to somebody. The smile stayed right where it was.
His questions were also kind of cute. So curious! In the most honest way, too. One could genuinely sense his fascination with learning. It only brought up more questions though: how did he get here, how long, why, who... What? Megumi decided it was best to be straightforward as possible, hoping that he would be as open.
"Ah, well..." A brief pause. She looked as though she'd just been caught reading the nerdiest of manga--or whatever. "I guess you could say it's because I know what I'm capable of that I'm extra cautious." Her eyes had shifted down for a moment, wrestling that insecurity to the ground before returning to Orion's baby-blues. "My abilities have to do with luck." She held up her wrist, showing a dangling charm with some kanji character.
"And what about you?" She rejoined. "What brings you out here two days in a row? Kinda suspicious~" She teased, chuckling softly to herself.

Practice makes perfect. Those were the words that rang through Orion's head at that moment. The day before, he successfully was able to use one of the Shigure Soen forms, but he wasn't sure if he had the muscle memory for the others. Beccata di Rondine was easy enough to convert to memory, seeing as the amount of stamina it requires as well as the actual movements involved required one to devote a lot of time and effort to learning that one singular form. Otherwise, you'd be using up stamina for no reason for a couple of strikes, which could very well end up overlapping in the end.
Orion couldn't help but notice that his question left Megumi in what appeared to be an embarrassed state. Er... Maybe embarrassed wasn't the right word. More so stunned or caught off guard. He could understand where she was coming from. The first step to mastering ones abilities was to acknowledge that you could seriously injure yourself or someone else. That was the reason Orion was always so much more focused whenever he had a blade or a weapon in his hand. If his mind slipped for even a second, someone could get hurt, and he didn't want that.
"Well, we have the same mindset at least," Orion began. "We're both cautious when it comes to what we are able to do; however, where you don't train alone because of how dangerous your abilities can be, I train constantly to make sure I can keep my abilities in check. That's why I'm out here a second day," he finished with a small smile. He saw nothing wrong with Megumi avoiding training alone. If her abilities were as dangerous as she said, it wouldn't do any good to injure herself. In fact, injuring herself might make her more hesitant to use her abilities at all, let alone train them.ย โฌโฌเฎโฌโฌเฎโฌโฌโง xxxx โงโฌโฌเฎโฌโฌเฎโฌโฌ

Once there was a time when Megumi would believe she would be able to beat her abilities, so to speak; to conquer over anything was one of the unofficial mottoes of both schools, after all. She shook her head softly.
"I don't know how you find the energy," she admitted. It was true; one of these two was infinitely more motivated than the other to further their abilities, but Megumi saw no reason to give a legitimate answer; rather it was much more convenient, and perhaps even more believable, to go with a more standard, colloquial response.
"But you have to agree," she continued, prodding a little, "training with others is much better than just sharpening your skills on your own." She looked at him for a moment. Poor guy was soaked. For whatever reason--maybe it was the tattered clothes, fragments of leaves welded into his hair, something--Megumi didn't really think this was a good time to put that into practice. "Maybe we could get a workout sometime?" She asked swaying a bit.
"But right now it looks like you could use some new threads..." She covered her mouth, chuckling to herself and shaking her head at Orion.

Xuza Uriel: "Angel of Death"
Back at again! Xuza was admittedly a little tired from the day before and just about that confident in her ability to adapt to what she had been given by the lovely and mysterious kitsune in charge what seemed to be everything as of late--wouldn't even surprise her if this was a trap, a way to corral her into her forces, but the repetition of that thought and ones like it were quickly losing their flinching power as the meister took her laps around the section of the field devoted to warming up; and believe you me it wasn't anything above what the kitsune inventor had been doing yesterday--ultimately, she thanked her technique for that slim victory; --so that when she was sighted she would appear to be the reflection of the school's attitude at the moment: a weak but indelible resolve around a trepidacious mind. The faรงade was doing lunges now, and stretching as best she could.

Xuza Uriel: "Angel of Death"
Xuza's head snapped to focus on the source of that sound, startled but fully expecting to see the woman from last night; it aided her jumping nearly out of her skin greatly that what she saw was a face that did not at all line up with the voice it controlled. Her finger twitched as she leveled it at the scientist-doppelganger. "Y-Y-You--you're not her--what the hell is going on!?"

Xuza Uriel: "Angel of Death"
"... Well," blinked the meister allowing the tsunami of thoughts on the issue to wash the words away from her lips for just a moment. There was just no telling where this woman could be. It was a very terrifying subject to dwell on, and the psychological implications such as how different she might look through the eyes of another--whether or not they were different eyes, what was the essence of the eye in this situation--... yes, quite many. Dizzyingly so. Xuza found it easier to chuckle along than to allow herself to be overwhelmed by questions.
"Thank you for taking the time," she rejoined, readying her mind for whatever she, the leader--as in, someone above even that Decus fellow--could possibly have in store for her. She had asserted last night that she would be in good hands, but, if she was being honest, she thought that a goddamn lie; in her eyes was the same primeval fire which kept early man alive and healthy enough to forge a new position as top of their food chain. That alkaline taste in her mouth was a celebrated legacy in this moment.

Xuza Uriel: "Angel of Death"
"Whoa..." this enclosure, it was like something she had seen before...--Regardless, the meister found herself feeling a different reaction to the barrier. She brought her attention back to the scientist who wasn't.
"Oh... Well, I would think of things that are wild, unruly. Chaos is bad... That's why Death created order..." She sighed, waiting for her rebuking.

โธ โธ โธEgil Armani Gitsune โธ โธ โธ โธ The Mad Machina Acting CEO of Gitsune Industries Ren a smiles at Xuza's claims. She exspected no less from a miester. If they were going to get anywhere she had to change Xuza's way of thought. " Chaos is the antithesis of Order. One cannot know Order without Chaos. They are two sides of the same coin. So then how is Chaos bad ? Now I agree that to much Chaos can be harmful but can't the same be said about order? All beings advance beyond the what they were a minute before. Little by little, they advance a bit further with each turn. Some call it evolution but that too is chaos. Think about it. Life is chaotic by nature; dynamic and unpredictable. Without Chaos life would be bland and stagnant. Nothing would ever change. Nothing would ever improve. "

Xuza Uriel: "Angel of Death"
This seemed to strike the meister as odd. Sure, it was a decent argument, but then it could also be dismissed as something of a devil's advocate argument. The only thing stopping her from that conclusion was the conviction with which the other spoke. She was so far removed from Death and his doings--might it be that she was in fact blinded by the Shinigami's apparent brainwashing?
"I think I follow..." She nodded slowly, still reading through the implications there. "I remember Death being the only one to use Order... It's a madness as well." A sigh. She knew what she was saying was a regrettable truth. Even so, the classes now taught it as part of history. "So then, what do us normal folk use? You can't tell me it's Chaos..."
