I'm scared that if I ever pick up any of these fairy books you guys talk about it will be the Anita Blake of fairies.

Faeries by Brian Froud and Allen Lee in my opinion is easy to read, has a large section of species from actual lore around the world and explains the differences between them. Plus it is full of wickedly sweet art work to give you a general idea of what they might look like.

The difference is, in these books, it almost makes sense for the solution to every problem being a gangbang. Of course, right about the time when I read that the main character was pregnant from like ten guys at once, I just... ...no, just no.
