"Hey sammy what going on here?" *zangoose walks up to reaper*
PostPosted: Tue Mar 24, 2009 8:41 pm

"Mr. Satty and Mr. Ike are talking about the diamond," Sammy responded to Reaper, still having the nickname for the Commander. She had decided, also, that the diamond's name would be Dia. Sure, it wasn't original, but it worked, and fit the diamond's personality.

"A diamond, how big is the diamond?" *kadabra and crawdaunt walk up next to reaper* "Who is Mr.satty?"
PostPosted: Tue Mar 24, 2009 8:50 pm

"The size of a car," Sammy chuckled, looking over to Dia.

*looks at the diamond* "Wow thats big." *reaper starts to get thoughts on the diamond about wanting to take it for himself, but he is a good guy so he stops thinking about it."

"Dia~" Sammy sang, wanting to hug the giant rock. Who's soul was housed in it? Their soul must have been very admirable, as its home reflected.

*zangoose started to think about the giant shiny rock too and nearly ran for it, but was stopped by reaper and crawdaunt and zangoose gets mad and starts a fight cloud with reaper and crawdaunt*

Sammy watched the fight cloud, chuckling a bit. "That's lovely," she muttered, watching Dia still... She couldn't help but wonder who would need power like that.

*ice beams, shadowballs, bubblebeams, and shock waves could be seen coming from the fight cloud*

Below in the base, Skylar found what he was looking for in a rather large book. Inside it was a map, and a relatively new one at that.
Jasmine sighed, knowing she aided a criminal.
"Ok, we're even. I'm just gonna go now." She said.
"Yeah, uh-huh." Skylar said, not really paying attention. This ticked Jasmine off.
"Fine, well, bye." She said, using an explorer kit she had and exiting the Underground.

"Cyrus this Cyrus that..." Skylar said, flipping through the pages of the same book. He had ripped out the map he was looking for and now was just snooping around for fun.
"...Oh? What's this?" he said, stumbling upon something about a piece of jewelry that was used to command three legendary pokemon. Something called a Red Chain. He didn't know too much about it, but it sounded valuable. That's all he cared about.
Upon further reading, he discovered that it was destroyed by Team Aqua. He moaned in disappointment, but continued reading.
"Hmm..." he thought, coming across something that was even more interesting. He read aloud a passage that Marty had wrote.

Tonight was finally the night the tyrant, Cyrus, fell to his demise. Team Aqua fought bravely against the monster, almost to the point that they could of destroyed themselves. It was reckless of them to follow Cyrus into the portal which lead into the Torn World. Nevertheless, he was subject to his own undoing. The three lake spirits split his mind into three. Emotion, Knowledge, and Ambition. All three took physical forms as a medallion, orb, and sword, respectively. The medallion was given to Maddy. The orb was given to who they call Kwchups. The sword was given to my godson, Ike.

Skylar stopped reading and thought aloud again.
"Hey... Ike.... that's Jasmine's boyfriend... I bet he still has it."
He continued reading.

They must realize that if any one of those three would reunite with Cyrus, it would cause a chain reaction of events that would lead to his return. I hope they heed that warning.
Though the world seems to be on the right track to peace once more, Cyrus must be watched over with the utmost care. He has already discovered a way into the universe between universes. If he should ever cross to the other side once more, I fear no force on earth could stop him.
This seemed to be written last November.

Skylar closed the book and thought about something.
"...I bet that Cyrus guy would pay good money for his mind back... It shouldn't be TOO hard to snatch those things from Team Aqua." he thought to himself. He smiled. "This'll be fun!"

*a shadowball nearly hit the diamond, same with the ice beam and reaper was sent flying into the museum* Reaper: "Man that hurts." *reapers head pain starts to come back again and starts to wonder if adie and/or cody remember what kadabra did*

((What do we do now?))
PostPosted: Tue Mar 24, 2009 9:49 pm

As Saturn took his leave, Ike sighed and leaned against the wall.
"I guess we go back to the HQ now and think this out. Nothing's going to get past this security." He said. The diamond was locked down more than Fort Knox. It seemed safe.

"We'll I guess I'll see you all back at HQ." Ike said, leaving the museum. This was a rather uneventful team mission, but they sure did learn a lot about what they're looking at now.

*reaper calls kadabra and tells him to teleport him and his pokemon to HQ*
*the pokemon of reaper and reaper were teleported to hq and the fight cloud ends* Reaper: "Well I know I am not getting anything from this. What should I do next, cody isn't here, or sammy, so I can cancel out TRP. What can I do." Crawdaunt: "I am hungry, I am gonna raid the fridge of its food."
Reaper, Kadabra, Zangoose: "Save some for me!" *all of them headed for the kitchen to raid the fridge of its food and drinks*

Arriving back on Aquos Island on Dratini's back, Adelle returned the pokemon, heading into base via the teleporter from the beach. Stifling a yawn with the back of her hand, she posted her latest mission report on the board before disappearing into her room, snuggling with Houndour before drifting off into her own land of dreams.

---------------------------------------------------

MISSION- Having a Blast: Rustboro
A bomb has been set in Rustboro City. Your mission is to find and defuse the bomb
(You will run into 2 bomb guys)

Pokemon:
Electrike
Tropius

Funds upon completion: 500

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Stretching out on the beach, Adie adjusted her sunglasses as her pokemon frolicked in the sand around her. She grinned over at them, taking a deep breath as she found herself completely relaxed, the sounds of her happy pokemon mixing with the lapping waves on the shore in sheer perfection. Nothing could really dampen her mood, until she heard the melody of beeps coming from her TADS, signaling she had a message. Picking it up with the full intention of telling whoever it was that she was taking a personal day, the message caused her eyes to widen and a gasp to escape her.

Important message to any available Aqua member. Reports are coming in from Rustboro that a bomb is being placed in the center of the town. Officers can’t seem to defuse it, so we need you’re help! Let's get moving, on the double!

“Come on guys,” she called out to her pokemon, causing each of them to look at her with a questioning look. They seemed to be a little disappointed that their relaxation was ending early, but they knew it must be important. Adie would never end their day at the beach early if it was anything other than a life or death situation. Recalling all her pokemon, Adie stood, folding her towel and placing it in her bag as she thought about what she was getting ready to do. Who would be stupid enough to place a bomb in the middle of Rustboro? And why? Nothing but questions ran through her head as she released Dratini into the water, jumping on the pokemon’s back as they headed into the surf, towards Hoenn.

The pair arrived at the shore of Hoenn, in the woods just north of Rustboro city an hour or so later, saying a silent prayer that she wasn't already too late. However, considering there were no screams nor pillar of smoke rising from the horizon, it was safe to say that for now she hadn't missed her cue. Clambering up the shore and onto the grass, Adie recalled her pokemon, pulling a pair of jeans and a tank top on over her wet bathing suit as she started through the trees towards the city. This was such a delicate situation, she wanted to get as much reconnaissance as possible before she just barged in, ready to battle whoever she needed to in order to get this bomb defused. Finding a large palm tree, Adie started to climb up the trunk, grunting as she did so. However, as she neared the top, the tree started to sway, the top swerving down to reveal a green and brown head. The trunk of the apparent tree rumbled as a deep cry broke through the soft nature sounds of the area.

“Hope crap, it’s a pokemon,” she suddenly cried out, releasing the trunk and falling the several feet to the ground below. She landed with a thud, grimacing as her elbow made contact with the ground, cradling her arm to her side as the giant Tropius before her revealing itself in the light, letting out another cry as a her foot stomped down on the ground where Adie was standing not seconds before she managed to roll out of the way. Pulling Arcanine’s pokeball from her backpack, and releasing the pokemon into the forest clearing to face the wild pokemon before her. Tropius would make an awesome addition to her already impressive team.

“Arcanine, Flamethrower,” she called out, eager to subdue the large pokemon before her before it drew too much attention to the area she was in. Reconnaissance was considerably harder when everyone knew you were there. A stream of fire erupted from her pokemon’s mouth, smashing into the fruit pokemon before her and causing the wild pokemon to let out a bestial roar as she brought her foot down in a powerful Stomp attack. Arcanine was hit, but seemed to be able to recover quickly, an ember attack bringing the wild pokemon as close to fainting as Adie was willing to risk it. Fishing around in her bag, she pulled an Aqua Ball from the depth of her pack, throwing it at the massive pokemon before her.

1 shake…

2 shakes…

3 shakes, and the ball sat still in the forest clearing.

Arcanine let out a howl of triumph as Adie ran forwards, throwing her arms around her pokemon in a loving hug before stooping and picking up her new capture, grinning wildly. One more for the team…she was well on her way. Clearing her throat, Adie started to think about climbing one of the trees again to get some outside information, but instead thought better of it. The last thing she wanted to do was risk another battle with an angry Tropius. Returning Arcanine, Adelle made her way into the town, looking around as she could hear the sounds of disturbance running wildly through the streets.

People were obviously panicked, and from the way she understood the situation, she would be the same way if she lived here. A posse of Officer Jennys started to walk by, chattering about how they wished they could find the person that set up the bomb so they could defuse it, and Adelle couldn’t help but interject. This is why she was sent here in the first place, and if they couldn’t find this guy, she sure as heck was going to try and help them herself. Apparently she was a better detective than a lot of these women.

“Officers! What do you mean we need this guy to defuse the bomb? Isn’t there any way we could do it ourselves,” she asked, looking between them with genuine curiosity. One blue-haired detective started to laugh, a few others beginning to murmur amongst themselves, while the last one looked at her with a grateful, yet serious, smile.

“No little girl, I’m afraid this explosive is beyond the comprehension level of our most trained bomb expert. Whoever wired this device is the only one that knows how to get back the security measures that keep us from just getting rid of it ourselves. If you have any information, please let the police station know immediately,” she ended, giving her a nod to show that this conversation was over before turning on her heel and disappearing into the station with the rest of her group. Adelle scowled after them, crossing her arms over her chest before turning and looking around the streets as the people gathering and gossiping to one another about the situation. This might be a little harder than she thought.

“Psst. PSST,” she heard coming from behind her, a plump old woman with a red cloak concealing her face from view motioning for Adelle to come over to her. Looking around as if to make sure that it was the blue-haired Aquan she was gesturing to before moving over to the woman, giving her a rather suspicious look. She certainly didn’t look threatening, but for some reason she had a feeling this woman had some sort of information she was going to find useful.

“You’re looking to get rid of this bomb, right? Well there are three brightly colored houses a few blocks down. In the middle one, I saw a strange looking man go in this afternoon, looking like he had something to hide. If I were looking for a suspect in this whole thing, that’s where I would start,” she said in a hushed whisper, giving Adelle a meaningful look from underneath the hood of her cloak before turning, disappearing into the gossiping crowd once more. Adelle stood there for a moment in silence, looking after her before walking down the street. She had no idea if the woman was onto something or not, but she had no other leads to go on for the moment. It seemed like she might as well check it out if she had the chance.

As she came to a stop in front of the house, ironically painted a bright shade of red, she knocked on the door a few times, waiting with her arms crossed over her chest, her foot tapping the cobblestone steps impatiently. It was hot outside, and she was ready to get back to her beach day. There was no answer, and so she knocked again, no one answering. Her hand gently rested on the doorknob, giving it a small test-turn only to find that the door was unlocked. If these were the people behind the bomb threat then they were a lot stupider than she originally thought. Stepping into the house, she closed the door behind her as quietly as possible, taking a few steps into the foyer. Her eyes swept over the dingy décor, hearing the sound of voices coming from one of the back rooms. It sounded like there was some sort of meeting going on.

Moving as quietly as possible, she could distinctly hear two men talking to one another, saying something about detonators and ransom. She didn’t have to hear the entire conversation to put two and two together and figure out their plan. It was just one more reason for her to move forward and get rid of these people before they ended up hurting someone. She would never let that happen, not on her watch. Trying to get close enough to possible hear something about how to defuse the bomb, the floorboard under her foot suddenly cut through the silence she worked hard to create with a loud creak, causing the voices inside to instantly cease. Muttering a soft curse under her breath, Adie flung herself around the corner to see two men, dressed in a ridiculous get up looking at her with stunned faces. One instantly took off running, the other grabbing a pokeball that was sitting on the table, growling lowly at her.

“Wha d’ya think you doin’ here kid,” he snarled at her, releasing Electrode into the space between them, effectively turning the spacious dining room into a makeshift pokemon arena. This just got a whole lot more interesting. Adie pulled Sandshrew’s pokeball from her pack, releasing the tiny mouse pokemon into the battle, a serious look on her face.

“You’re going to tell me how to disarm this bomb, whether we do this the easy or the hard way. Which is it going to be bub,” she said in a calm, yet forceful voice. Her pokemon might be smaller, but she wasn’t going to give up this battle so easily. Electrode was formidable, but she had faith that her ground-type could take care of it pretty easily. Sandshrew packed quite a wallop despite it’s small stature.

“Ah ain’t gonna tell yous nothin’ little girl,” he spat back at her, thrusting his hand forwards as Electrode flared with electricity, rolling forwards rapidly in a powerful Spark attack. Sandshrew was hit, but the electric attack did next to nothing on the ground type. Adie called for her pokemon to use Rollout. Sandshrew curled into a ball, rushing forwards and dealing a significant amount of rock damage to the electric type, who retaliated with Sonicboom. Although the attack knocked Sandshrew back, the pokemon continued his Rollout, dealing another chunk of damage to the opposing pokemon. Electrode released a piercing Screech attack, significantly lowering Sandshrew’s defense. However, it all amounted to nothing as one more Rollout attack from her pokemon send the Bomb Guy’s pokemon to the cleaners, the ball pokemon fainting then and there. The other man looked distraught as he recalled his pokemon, looking like he was going to make a break for it to. Not on her watch.

Sprinting forwards, Adie managed to catch hold of his shirt, her small frame giving a mighty tug and laying the man out on his back with a loud thud. He started to get up, but Sandshrew leapt through the air throwing all his weight into the man’s chest to knock him down once more. Adie leaned over him, giving a sweet smile though there was a look of mischief in her eyes that made the man intensely uncomfortable.

“Look, Ah dunno how ta defuse that bomb. Marty has ta do it, and ya ain’t gonna find him withou’ me,” he said quickly, looking at her with a pleading glance. Sandshrew was returned to his pokeball as Adie allowed him to stand, crossing her arms over her chest as she looked him up and down before motioning to the phone sitting on the table as well.

“Alright. Call Marty then. I want to meet him,” she said simply, giving the Bomb Guy before a look that seemed to challenge him to do something stupid. He picked up the phone, talking on it to a barely audible mumble on the other side before hanging up, looking at her with a defeated expression. He just got his butt handed to him by a girl - a young girl – and now she was about to ruin months of planning on their part.

It was several minutes before they heard the sounds of someone enter the house, calling out to the defeated bomber, whose name was apparently Lucas, as he came into the room where the pair were sitting. Adelle smiled to him as he came into the room, his smile fading the instant he saw her. Lucas apologized to him before turning and making a break for the basement. Adie could care less considering she had already degraded him enough. She had larger fish to fry: Marty.

“I’ll make you a deal. We have a pokemon battle. If I win, you have to defuse the bomb that threatens this city. If I win, I’ll give you my pokemon and never bother you again,” she said simply, her green eyes locking into his, an invisible spark of dislike forming between the two of them. Marty laughed as he looked at the girl before him, so sure that she was going to take this battle without any problems. She obviously had no idea who she was dealing with, but things were about to get ugly.

“You might have defeated Lucas my dear, but don’t be so sure I will surrender so easily. Vulpix,” he said calmly, releasing his first pokemon into the battle. Without a second thought, Adie pulled Wartortle’s pokeball from her pack, releasing the water pokemon to face off with the fox pokemon. This should be a walk in the park. Vulpix started the battle with a Quick Attack, the pokemon speeding forwards and landing a decent hit on the turtle pokemon, knocking him back slightly in the dull light of the house. Jumping into the air, Wartortle retaliated with Water Pulse, sending a sphere of water and ultrasonic waves towards Vulpix. The attack did a significant amount of damage to the opposing pokemon, though despite the type advantage the Vulpix remained standing.

“Confuse Ray,” Marty said with a confident grin, Vulpix releasing a colorful beam of energy towards Adie’s turtle pokemon that caused the pokemon to become confused. He attempted a Water Gun, but instead fell over dealing a little bit of damage to himself instead of the opponent. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Velpix used Fire Spin, a vortex of fire engulfing Wartortle though the damage was minimal. Thankfully he was able to recover from his confusion quickly, steam erupting from the vortex of fire as Hydro Pump sliced through the attack, connecting with Vulpix and sending it careening back into Marty’s arms. He glared over at her, returning the pokemon before pulling his other pokeball from his vest, releasing Loudred into battle. Adie looked at the pokemon for a moment before recalling Wartortle and instead releasing Ekans into battle.

“I know it’s been a while Ekans, but we can totally do this!” she assured the pokemon, giving him a confident smile as the battle started. Loudred ran forwards, aiming to Stomp on Ekans in an impressive show of power. Ekans took the damage, retaliating by using Wrap, his thin body slithering around the pokemon and starting to constrict. Three times the opponent pokemon attempted to use an attack, though each time the Wrap managed to keep it contained. Eventually, however, Loudred used Astonish, which shocked Ekans and caused him to release his opponent long enough to deliver a fatal Glare towards the Bog Voice pokemon. It was so frightening for Marty’s pokemon that it paralyzed the pokemon, allowing Ekans the chance to deliver a devastating Bite attack, almost knocking the pokemon out completely.

Managing to work through the paralysis, Loudred emitted a piercing Supersonic, causing Ekans to become confused as it prepared to land a finishing blow on the opponent pokemon. Holding on to his last shred of focus, Ekans sprayed the paralyzed pokemon with Acid, the attack causing Loudred to faint.

Adie emerged as the victor, returning Ekans after several words of praise, moving over to Marty as he lowered his head in defeat. He was clearly disappointed that he lost, but Adie was not about to let him off the look without the completion of his part of the bargain.

“Look, why don’t we just call it even, I give you my Loudred and we both go about our business,” he said, clearly trying to talk his way out of defusing the bomb they spent the last few months planning. Adelle pretending to think over the offer with a rather amused expression, however it quickly melted into one of seriousness, grabbing him by the collar and pushing him towards the front door. She found the one person in this city that could get rid of this problem, and there was no way she was going to let him dangle a rare pokemon in her face and think that would get him out of trouble.

“No way dude. We had a deal and unless you want me to go get the posse of Jennys over here before you can blink I suggest you go defuse that bomb so I can get back to my day off,” she said in a low tone, her expression warning him against proposing anything other than what she just told him. Pain would surely ensue if he didn’t listen to her, that much was certain. The pair made their way into the city, passing the looks of astonished people as Adie marched him up to the explosive, ducking under the police tape as the Jennys on guard duty rushed over to stop them. It was a quick explanation of what happened, but thankfully the officers were ready to give anything a shot at this point. It was better than dying a fiery death when this thing went off.

A few clicks and flipping of switches and Marty turned to glower at her, the glowing numbers and buttons of the bomb fading as it was deactivated. Before she had a chance to say anything a swarm of blue uniforms surrounded Marty, taking him into custody and marching him towards the police station. Adelle looked on, people cheering around her as the bomb was starting to be prepped for movement to a safe location. Even if they managed to detonate it with a remote there was no way that thing was going to be close enough to anything where it would cause a huge problem. One Officer Jenny approached her, shaking her hand with a bright smile on her face.

“Thank you for helping us out with this whole mess. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without you! Why don’t you stick around and come to the station for dinner tonight. The least we can do is feed you for all your help,” she said, still holding onto Adie’s hand. Thanking her for the offer, the blue-haired girl politely declined the offer, explaining that she still had half a day to relax on her day off, and she really had to be going. Accepting the town’s thanks, she went back to the beach, releasing Dratini into the water and jumping on the pokemon’s back, sailing for home. She managed to save the day, beat up two stupid Bomb Guys and add another member to her team. All in all, this had been another successful day in the life of Adelle Taylor – Aquan Extraordinaire.
