^^ Well, it still worked. The lightning still hit Tanakietsu, and it distracted you. Now it's just Trowa and me. How will he defend himself? *draws out a Sith Sword and calls on the dark side to empower it*

And the lightning didn't hit Tana at all. The rod didn't just absorb the lightning aimed at me. My post said nothing about it only absorbing what I was about to take.
Also, not happening! *counters with a Thunder attack*
