Slowly taking care of the various podcast episodes I saved. Once I'm done with the oddball ones, I can return to focusing on my main podcasts I'm following... or checking out. sweatdrop

I'm glad I can listen to the audiobook I've checked out while I'm working. One earbud in one ear to listen to it and still be able to pay attention to what's going on around me with the unoccupied ear. Makes it easier to mutiltask and be able to finish the book quicker. Especially when you know there's a bunch of people waiting for their turn on Libby. Don't want to make them wait for a month before getting it (like I had to do - and ended up missing the chance to get the Goodreads reading challenge bookmark for the category I chose the book for by days).

I put in an application for the Lip Sync Contest at the dark fantasy convention I'm attending. I'm so anxious about it! Like... I've been wanting to try doing a Lip Sync Contest for awhile now (after supporting my friends all these years) and this con is perfect with it being smaller and being a good stepping stone into that area of performance. But like... OMG, I'm actually doing this?! Well... it depends on whether I make it into the line-up or not... and which song they approve for me to do (since we have to offer at least two songs in case there's duplicate song submissions). whee

Just a few weeks until the submissions close... and then wait to hear on whether I'm accepted or not. At least I can brainstorm what I'll be doing for both songs... and practice doing them.

I just have to give kudos to all of the drag performances and the past Lip Sync performances I've watched to give me inspiration and examples of what I can do for my own performance. It's a little hard to fully put together an idea of what I'm doing since I don't know what the actual stage layout will be but... still... exciting.

I enjoyed the lunch my co-worker had put together that was left over from the set she made for the residents going on an outing (since some folks dropped out last minute). heart
