"O-oh, u-um, yeah..." Chibi began, smiling sheepishly as she scratched the back of her neck. "Er... Didn't I mention that...?" She honestly thought she had mentioned her true race at some point; oh well, better they find out sooner rather than later, especially in this instance.

Joker shook his head, eyes wide. "No, you never did! That's...that's...that's so cool!" He was practically jumping up and down.

"Y-yeah, um..." Chibi began, still looking nervous. "This would probably be a good time to mention that when I fall asleep, I can't hold the magic that makes me look human..." Oh yes, this would certainly pose a problem in a town where the populous would want to kill her and possibly use her skin as a flame-resistant shield, or something... At least, what with her being a child and all, humans would be at least a little more reluctant to attack her.

"Hey, no problem," Joker said, laying a hand on her shoulder. "Neo and I'll keep you safe. I won't let anyone hurt you, OK?" He shivered as he got a whiff of the whole, "flame-resistant skin shield" thought.

((NEW YEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARS))
Neo nodded slowly. "Well, I don't know how big of an issue it will really become. There are a few things we could do, but it depends on how big you are. We can claim we're living out in the woods, and you two go ahead and I'll keep behind and make sure we don't have any tails. Or, if you're small enough, we could hide you in a building. If... if there's nowhere near enough in the woods, we can camouflage you out in the fields, build a little hut and live there. Nothing too hard, hmm? Can you fly?" he added thoughtfully. "Can you carry any substantial weight? Like, two full-grown men, perhaps?"

((The last New Years that people can wear those 2000 glasses. xd I don't think it'd be very convenient to wear 2010 glasses, unless they can somehow squish the 1 between your eyes. xp lol))
"I'm roughly about six foot from my head to the ground, but I can stretch up higher if I want," Chibi replied. "I can also curl up small enough to fit in a room, but it can be a little uncomfortable... We can't really say we're living in the woods; at least someone there is expecting mercenaries to show up. If we don't find a building we could use, we could always claim I'm claustrophobic..." She blinked a little at his last question. "Yeah, I can fly. I'm pretty good at it, actually. I can hold a lot of weight, but the heavier I am, the less further I can go."

.::Ooc::. Sorry guys, I forgot to mention, He's off on Holiday,he siad he wouldn't be back until January 10th or so
Since you guys went on I guess that when he comes back he can either jump in on the mission as if hes always been there, or go on Xinrie's mission
~~~
Ryanna watched Xinrie leave, before she sighed heavily and slipped in to an exhausted slouch. She was tired, it had been years since she went on a mission like that and she had forgotten just exactly how much work they could be. Sadly, she would take that over paper work anyday. Smoothing out her hair, she went straight for her office where she found her niece sitting in one of the giant cushy chairs by her fireplace, drinking a cup of hot tea with Ike.
"Ah...Thank you Lieutenant Arc, and, don't bother with the paper work on this one, I'll handle it. "
She went to the other chair, and sat in it, taking her own cup of tea for herself.
"Uhm..Auntie...Can I stay here?"
Ryanna nearly spit her tea all over the place.
"Excuse me?"
"I uh...Like it here actually, and I hate boarding school, can I please stay here?"
"Out of the question, my brother would never hear it."
The girl fumbled with her tea, keeping her eyes on the floor.
Ok, fine then, I didn't ant to have to resort to this...but, if you don't let me stay then I'll just tell daddy what you actually do here."
At this Ryanna went extremly quiet, she had forgotten how deceptive her niece could be. It took a whole five minutes of more awkard silence before she finally groaned in defeat.
"Oh alright, But, you stay here under my conditions, and you must work. And remember, the pay is low and you are to be sworn to secrecy. Am I understood?"
"Mmm..Ok! Thanks Auntie.
"And please, refrain from calling me that here."
((I've never seen those.))
"What about length-wise? And if you can hide in a room... uncomfortable will work, we could just sleep outside the door. And... so you can fly us places, hmm? That's... convenient. A greater degree of mobility is infinitely valuable if it's effective. Do you have to slow down when carrying people substantially?"
"I... never really paid attention..." Chibi replied, thoughtfully. "Ten... twelve feet, maybe? Like I said, though, I can curl up smaller. No, I don't have to go much slower, just slightly so with the increase wind resistance."
"Good, so you'd still be maneuverable if you were carrying Joker and I," Neo said slowly. "Okay. Hiding you should be no trouble, keeping you safe shouldn't be any either. I doubt even a professional swordsman could successfully engage any one of us and come out alive."
((Okay, here the thing, I am going to Lake Tahoe tomorrow. On vacation for like, six days. There is not going to be a computer... So yea. See you in a week. biggrin ))
Sokato raised the sword a bit higher. The sword was red, almost white because of the heat from the fire. He examined it visually for defects on the fly. Non where found. A few seconds later Yue was right behind Sokato. He was a little surprised, but he was also happy that his team mate decided to join the fight. "I see you want to help. I just hope your in the proper condition for this." Ace took a few more steps forward, waiting for the dragons next move. The dragon took a few steps back and the size of the cave started to become apparent. Only a few meters back was a huge space with passageways branching off. Like a hub to some huge cave system. All of this seemed unnatural, man made.
He would have to examine the cave system later, as Ace had bigger things to deal with at the moment. The dragon took a few more steps back, and Sokato took a few more forward. The dragon reared it's head to let out another jet of flame, but Sokato ran.... fast. He reached the dragon before it could make its attack. Ace had his sword ready for the attack. He was going to jump up and make a decisive slice at the dragons head, but the red dragon swiped at Sokato with it's deadly claws. Sokato barely managed to block it with his sword. The attack sent Ace into the wall of the cave and left a large crack in the sword.
"Damn it... This one is stronger than the last."
When they were all ready he motioned for Outai and the cat, with the gatling gun and tripod, through the portal ahead of him. As they stepped through, he looked back at the advancing army, and the incoming air vehicles.
From what I understand, the enemy with that weapon will be almost unstoppable. Maybe we'll have to have a major mission to get it back, but for now, it looks like they will have it. I wonder what this new mission will have in store for us.
He paused for another second after they passed through the portal, then stepped through it. He decided that he would not put his gear away until after getting briefed. He didnt know what gear he might need.
"They're going to find out, eventually..." Chibi consented. "Not right away, of course, it will take some time... But, I think that's part of the point of the mission; end the fighting by getting the two sides to realize that there's far less difference between them than they realize."
Outai nodded and followed Shadow through the portal. She was still new to that type of travel, and still marveled at it, but kept it to herself. Mostly she wondered what kind of mission they had that was possibly more important than getting that weapon before the enemy could get their hands on it. She'd heard of it before, but only vaguely, and understood it was very powerful. If there was a mission that pulled them away from obtaining it to put it under protection before the enemy could use it for evil purposes, then it would have to be pretty damned important.
