Lily gave a contented sigh as he did, hands falling still on Kaen's ears. "Mmm..." she leaned closer to him, eyes half closing.

Kaen purred, tilting her head so Lily could reach the back of her ears.

Arlen smiled as he continued to pet Lily's ears. "Would you like something to eat Kaen?"

When Kaen tipped her head, Lily remembered herself and went back to work on the kitsune's ears, smiling. At Arlen's words, she giggled. "There's a roast in the oven, and I'm going to make corn and mashed potatoes too."

Kaen said, her eyes half closed. She swayed her tails blissfully, the only thing that showed that she hadn't melted into sleep just yet.

Lily giggled at Kaen, taking her hands away. "I'd better stop before you take a nap." she teased, then melted a little against Arlen when his second hand started, smiling. "No...not distracting..." the teen murmured, not wanting him to stop.

"It won't..." Lily murmured, effectively reduced to a pile of goo. "Got a timer..." Her eyes closed as she leaned into Arlen's touch, giving another happy sigh.

Kaen pouted, but put her paws on the floor. She thought for a second, then ran back up to her room.

"Bye bye Kaen..." Lily murmured rather belatedly, still rather lost in the feeling of Arlen rubbing her ears. At the sound of a timer from the kitchen, though, she reluctantly pulled away, turning to kiss him softly. "Dinner will be out in a few minutes babe." she told him, then stood and went to the kitchen.

Lily came out several minutes later, carrying the roast on a plate, then smiled at Arlen. "Think you could cut it?" she asked, pointing to the knife on the plate before she went back to the kitchen, grabbing the corn and potatoes. These went on the table as well, and it was back to the kitchen one final time for plates and silverware. "What do you want to drink?" she called.
