Claudas Meliae  Entering the Academy, Claudas's eyes searched for a teacher. He sat in a row quietly and patiently. A few minutes later, a teacher by the name of Rumo entered as well. Claudas stood up and made his way toward the man. "Hello Claudas." The teacher said. Claudas nodded keeping his blank expression as he spoke. "Hello." he replied. The teacher turned and went to the outside of the building, to the open training area. Claudas following close behind. "I'm going to start by teaching you the Art of The Replacement Jutsu." Claudas nodded again remaining quiet. Rumo stopped and turned to face him. Claudas stopped and asked, "What is the first step to this technique?" Rumo smiled. Rumo drew a kunai and handed it to Claudas. "I'll start by showing you." Claudas took the kunai and stepped back. "When your ready" Claudas said drawing his hand back with the Shuriken in it. "Go" Rumo said. Claudas hurled the kunai directly at his gut Rumo was lifted off of his feet as he flew back, impaled. Claudas's eyes slightly widened as he watched. The figure that was Rumo quickly burst into a large cloud, revealing itself only as a log. Rumo then stood behind Claudas with crossed arms. "That’s the Substitution Jutsu." Said Rumo. Claudas turned and faced him. "Okay, so its all about timing." "Try it out?" Rumo asked with a smile. Claudas jumped back by the log and grabbed the kunai stuck in the log. He tossed it toward the instructor. Rumo caught it and prepared to throw. Claudas stood ready for the kunai calmly. "I'm ready.." Claudas said. Rumo threw the kunai at Claudas's abdomen, and Claudas moved slightly only enough to barely dodge. The Kunai grazed his side and he winced slightly. covering the graze. He grabbed his side covering the cut. "Nigh.." Sighing and standing up straight, he waited for the next kunai. "Claudas, remember that you won't always know the kunai is coming. Understand?" Rumo noted. "Yes." Claudas replied and prepared himself. Rumo gripped the next kunai and hurled it without warning at Claudas's chest. "Nigh!" Claudas quickly jumped from the path of the kunai before realizing a second kunai hit him. Or so it seemed. Claudas's form vanished and was replaced with a log. Claudas stood beside Rumo quietly. "You did it!" Rumo said with a smile. Claudas smirked and nodded. "Although I wasn't expecting either kunai at the time. Thank you. I saw why you did it." Claudas noted and Rumo laughed. "Next. you’ll be learning the Art of the Doppler Ganger. As normal, I'll show you this technique first." Claudas watched carefully. Rumo formed a hand seal. "Shadow clone Jutsu." A clone stood next to Rumo and he grinned. "Do you get it?" both said. "I think so" Claudas replied. "Good." said Rumo as his clone vanished. He watched Claudas with crossed arms. Claudas built up his chakra and began to focus. He formed a hand seal swiftly. "Shadow clone Jutsu!" The clone that should of been identical was slouching on the ground, drooling, and extremely pale. "Huh...why didn't it work?" asked Claudas a bit irritated. "Well...this one takes some getting used to. You really have to focus to pull it off correct." Said Rumo, jabbing the clone with a kunai making it disappear. "Maybe you should try NOT focusing. Maybe that’s the trick. See?" asked Rumo. "Yeah. I think." Claudas wasn't too sure what the instructor meant. But it was worth a try. "When your ready.." said Rumo. watching. "And remember, try to let it happen comfortably.." Claudas nodded forming another hand seal "Okay. Shadow clone Jutsu." He said, but no lone appeared. "Right. Shadow clone Jutsu!" He shouted. A clone appearing next to him. Claudas searched for any flaws on the clone. The instructor did as well. "Well. I don't see anything wrong.." said Rumo. "Me either.." replied Claudas. "So. Is that all I have to do?" Claudas and the shadow clone inspected each other. "Well. You did it. Congrats. We’ll continue tomorrow. Go rest." Claudas nodded and left the academy.
Claudas entered the Academy again. He sat quietly, keeping quiet, unlike the others who were waiting for their instructors. He waited patiently for his teacher arrive. Rumo stepped in trying to put together a puzzle before spotting Claudas. "Why do you always arrive so early?" he asked Claudas smirked and replied. "Lets just say, I like to use up my full days worth when I'm training." Rumo laughed telling him to follow as he turned and exited the building to the outside training area. Rumo approached a tree and Claudas followed. Rumo stopped and turned to face Claudas. Claudas stopped catching a grin "Alright...this is where you learn to climb a tree.." Claudas scowled. "I already know how to climb trees. I need re-" he said being cut off. "Let me finish. You need to learn to climb without using you hands.." Claudas sighed. "Have you gone senile? That’s impossible.." His teacher turned and walked up the tree almost effortlessly, until he was standing upside down on a tree branch. "Does it still seem impossible?" "How is that possible?!" asked Claudas. "Well. Its possible by focusing chakra into the souls of your feet.." Replied the instructor. Claudas began trying to focus a lot of his chakra into the soles of his feet. "Here goes.." He quickly ran up the tree's side only getting one foot off the ground. Then, his feet slipped downward, and his head flew forward crashing dead into the tree with a loud thud. "Ah!" he shouted falling back into the grass beneath himself. He placed his hands on his Headband and rolled around as blood began to drip from underneath it. Claudas sat up looking up at his teacher, feeling dizzy. "H-how'd I do?" Asked Claudas not even remembering. Rumo jumped down and shook his head. "Don't add so much chakra that you overexert yourself. Understand?" Claudas nodded standing up and began trying to focus his chakra. "Hun.." He ran up the tree getting up to four feet drawing a kunai and slashing the mark he reached as he flipped back landing into a crouch. "Good.." said Rumo. "Your getting the hang of it.." Claudas ran up the tree going to leave another mark, but he fell back landing on his hands and pulled his feet down. "Damn it. I almost had it.." Rumo was impressed. He was a fast learner. But he had expected it sort of. It was said that Almost everyone from the Meliae clan was a prodigy. Claudas was growling it seemed. "I'll do it this time. Without failure." He stood and closed his eyes, focused and stared at the base of the tree. gripping his kunai tightly he ran up the tree, only 2 feet more and scratched the bark with his kunai and flipped back landing in a crouch. Claudas smiled with pride and looked back at Rumo. "How was that?" "Good. Now reach the very top." Claudas frowned and faced the sky, still seeing the top of the tree. "Fine. I’ll do it.." Claudas said focusing on the tree. He ran up the tree quickly, panting heavily. His scowl grew fiercer as he ascended. Beginning to pass tree branches, he would slash one by one as he went by. "Almost there.." He thought slashing another branch. [“And. It seems to be getting easier.." he would think running faster as he approached the top. "I'm there!" He shouted jumped to the top grabbing the very tip of the tree. Rumo grinned. "Come down!" Claudas leaped from the tree landing in a crouch. "Heh. I did it.." Rumo nodded and turned heading toward the hot springs. "On to the next session." Said Rumo. Claudas followed quietly. "Do you know what were going to do now?" asked Rumo. Claudas's eyes locked onto him and he asked. "What?" Rumo stopped next to the steaming hot water. "Your going to walk on water" Claudas stared at the water about to speak his mind on how it seemed impossible. But he learned not to doubt, after he was proven wrong about the tree. "All you have to do here is constantly release a certain amount of chakra from the souls of your feet. Here. I’ll show you." Rumo said stepping onto the water, walking around in circles and stopping. "Now you." Said Rumo. Claudas focused the chakra into his feet and walked into the water, not standing for but 2seconds before falling in with a loud splash. Under water, he blinks swimming back up to the surface and onto the land. He sighed at his heavy wet clothes as he stood up. Sitting and crossing his legs, Claudas focused on building Chakra into his feet. "Its not like the tree. You know. Maybe you should just try walking near the edge of the water so you don't get all wet." Noted his teacher. "Well its too late now." He replied proving his point. "anyway. I don't mind. Its all to get more skill." Walking off of the surface, Rumo sat next to him. "Claudas. When you learn this, practice it. You will need it in the future." "Yeah. I know" Said Claudas. "Good." Replied his teacher. "Must I show you again" Asked Rumo. "No not yet.." replied Claudas. He stood staring at the water's surface. "It cant be that hard..." Said Claudas stepping onto the water, his foot instantly plunging under. "Damn it.." Taking his foot out, he tried again only receiving the same result of having his foot submerged again. "Hey?" asked Claudas. "Is it possible for me to rise above the water from beneath it?" Well. You would more likely have to climb out.." Nigh. I’ll keep trying then." "Look. Let me show you one last time.." said Rumo stepping out onto the water and walking to its center space. "The reason you have to constantly push out chakra, is because this water moves all around at all different times. Unlike the tree, you must constantly change the level of chakra you give out, otherwise, you sink." He'd say pulling a rock from his shuriken pouch, and dropping it into the water with a loud thud and splash. "Just like a rock. Does it make sense?" he asked smiling. Claudas sighed staring out at him. "Listen. Being able to walk on water and trees makes absolutely no sense in the first place." Claudas stuck his feet in the water, and began to focus his chakra. His feet slowly began to sink as he gritted his teeth, beginning to struggle. His feet looked as if they were trying to decide if they should descend or ascend. "Garr..." Claudas, try letting it happen normally, but don't try too hard." Claudas was already trying to happen naturally, but it was harder then it seemed. His feet slowly began to lift to the surface. Finally, they leveled with it. "I. did it.." Claudas murmured. "Alright! Now walk out to me!" Claudas looked up, and began taking a few steps forward. Each step was less and less wobbly. Finally he reached Rumo. He stood up straight and sighed in relief. "Congrats Claudas." "Thanks." Claudas said and both Rumo and Claudas went back to land.
The next day, Claudas walked toward the academy. "Claudas." a voice would ring out. He stopped and turned spotting Rumo stretching. "I was just looking for you.." Claudas said. "Why? Oh wait...more training?" Claudas nodded waiting to be told what was next to learn. Rumo nodded and walked the rest of the way to the academy. Claudas followed, patiently waiting for instructions. After reaching the academy, Rumo and Claudas entered. Claudas sat, and Rumo stood nodding. "Okay. This Jutsu is called Henge no Jutsu. The art of transformation, understand?""This is one of my personal favorites. It shows how well you pay attention, and how good your memory is." Said Rumo with a grin. He formed a hand seal crying out, "Transform.". A large gray cloud burst around him and raised . As it vanished, Rumo stood in the form of another instructor. "Try to be as close as the real person or thing as possible if you plan on being hidden." Claudas nodded watching Rumo release the transformation jutsu, and take his original form. "You should be able to get this one perfectly. Right?" Claudas nodded uncrossing his arms. "You can start now." Rumo told Claudas taking a seat and watching. Claudas close his eyes for a small moment and then opened them, forming a hand seal. "Alright. Transform..." Nothing happened. Claudas looked at himself and blinked. "Huh. It didn't work." Claudas said. "Think Claudas. It won't just happen.." noted Rumo. "You have to disguise your self. And well. When it comes down to it, you may need it. And failure may result in death, or failing a mission." Rumo smirked closing his eyes. "Or maybe you just can't do it." Rumo joked. "Eh." Claudas muttered and furrowed his eye brows. "I'll do it." Claudas formed the hand seal once more and a cloud burst and rose up. Claudas stood in the form of Rumo with the exact same smirk. "Told you.." Said Claudas with pride. Rumo laughed finding it hysterical. Claudas transformed back to himself. "Good Claudas. Come on." Rumo said turning and heading to the outside shuriken targets. Claudas went on behind him patiently. Really, he was excited to know everything he learned, but he remained quiet. Rumo stopped, turned around and gripped a shuriken then hurled it at the center of the post. "Claudas. Hit the feet, hands, head and heart. Understand?" Claudas nodded drawing 6 shuriken. Three in one hand and three in the other. "Alright..." Claudas prepared staring at the post intently, waiting for Rumo's mark. Rumo stepped out of the way. "..Alright. Ready set. Go." Claudas hurled the first shuriken at the right hand of the post. He then threw another at the post's left leg. He drew his hand back releasing the next shuriken at its head, then another shuriken quickly stamping against its heart. Claudas threw the next shuriken, quickly noticing it off course. He threw the other shuriken causing them to skim against each other and nail the targets. Claudas successfully nailed each target within a matter of seconds and chuckled. "Too easy.." Rumo nodded. "Yeah. You got it." Claudas glanced over his shoulder at Rumo. "Congratulations." Rumo handed Claudas a scroll. Claudas opened it reading, "You have learned what was necessary, and have achieved the rank of Genin. You can now wear the head band, representing your spot as a Substance Village shinobi." Claudas looked up and grinned. Rumo was already holding his headband out to him. Claudas took it from him with a nod and tied it onto his forehead. Claudas looked at Rumo and nodded again. "You've been a great student Claudas. Tomorrow, you should be assigned your team. Go rest now. Claudas listened heading out, taking his last look at the academy.

~ Mirabelle, Kagami, & Hayate~   Hayate simply ignored Victoria as he walked away, not to say it didn't strike a cord with him...cause it did. Then he found himself pinned to a wall by a taller red head guy, from Passion, that lectured him on talking to females like that..then liked his ear after some random statement about sex craved males. The Daimyo was happy when the tall man left, quickly wiping his ear, "Eww....What the hell..." Shaking his head Hayate shivers and finds a place in the classroom to sit. After the shock wears off, Hayate continues to examine and toss the hilt from hand to hand. Honestly...he wanted to get the hell out of academy an back to his village so that he could return to crafting his sword. Why wait? Hayate pulls out some materials and begins to hammer away on a nearly finished blade. Before long a majority of his first katana was finished and assembled. Hayate's 'Masamune' was now a roughly made up of his father's extended hilt, freshly crafted quick safety, and a sharp extended blade. Proud of himself, Hayate left the room and headed out to the sparring grounds. Unknown to his ghostly follower.
Mira smiles sweetly as Victoria returns her soft kiss and introduces herself and her young, shy friend. She tenderly pulls Victoria in a light hug when Kagami releases her shoulders and floats off, after all a tall red head seemed to have his eyes set on Chloe, and Mira liked sassy, "Pleasure to meet you all, and I do like how you took care of the brat, Victoria Hunny." Mira couldn't help but smiles as the male Eros treats her like a princess it was rather cute after all, but ultimately Mira got bad vibes off the guy. She keeps it to her self hoping she is just wrong in her thinking when it comes to him, after all she felt closer to the girls so it must have something to do with him being male. The Eros girl whispers softly into Victoria's ear, "Whats up with the ghost girl there?" She is kinda creepy to Mira, though she was actually shocked that not only did ghosts existed that they were able to travel the world freely.
Kagami giggles as she watches Hayate get licked by the Eros male, "Seems that whole village will do anyone." She silently watches the Daimyo boy finish his assembling the katana, 'Oh Nice.' The Descartes thinks as she watches him get up and walk out. Simply floating through a few walls, Kagami finds herself at the training area right before Hayate as he swings his sword, "Oh No!" She screams out as the blade harmlessly passes through her body. Kagami giggles and appears again before the swordsman, "Sorry..Sorry..I couldn't resist." Hayate stares hard at her, unamused by the joke she had pulled, "So it seems." Kagami sighs an slides the katana through her empty body so her cold embrace was around Hayate, "Don't be so cold...I wanna hang out with you...your far less creep than a Death Eater..and we could help each other."  Galileo smiled at the Chloe as she blushed a deep crimson. By the looks of him, he was a powerful guy. His true nature would never be seen by his looks, a man seeking to destroy the world and everyone in it. He was a smooth talking, “heart throb” as many girls had called him. “How terribly rude of me, my name is Galileo Alister. As you most likely could have noticed, I’m an Eros. My I have your name, beautiful lady?” He wasn’t around during the first set of introductions, harassing the guy from hidden katana was something of a top priority at the moment when he first arrived. “May I walk you to the class, Milady?”  Phoibe was running late to class, as normal. Her so-called brother having forgot to wake her when he left their apartment. She wanted to leave just as bad as her brother, but she was five years young then him. She wasn’t going anywhere any time soon. She just wanted to study hard and leave as soon as possible. She was running way too fast and didn’t see where she was going, bumping into one of the girls in standing in the hallway with short pinkish. “Oh, I’m so sorry!”

~Victoria & Chloe~
  Victoria wrapped her arms around Mira, and she was enjoying the attention. However, she rolled her eyes as she mentions the swordsman. "Someone had to say something. He can't just call us sluts and get away with it." She then listened closely as Mira whispered in her ear. "The Ghost girl?" she smirked some. "What can I say this place is a freak parade." The gray eyes then glanced over to the Eros male. He better not be planning to do anything bad to her little sister. Chloe was to caught up with Galileo to offer Victoria and Mira much of her attention. "Galileo." she mumbled under her breath trying to record it to her memory. "I'm Chloe Aphrodite, but I'm sure you knew my clan." she said with a slight giggle. Her blue eyes then widened some. Class... she just left that terrible.. horrible.. wretched place. "Of course. I would love that." she said with a warm smile. What could she say she was feeling a little brave. She then headed off to class with Galileo. Victoria's eyes followed the two till they were out of sight, and then they darted back to the girl who crashed into Mira. Lovely.. more cute passion ninja. "Hi there." she greeted her.

~ Mirabelle, Kagami, & Hayate~ Mira smiles as she holds Victoria and watches as Chloe walks off with Galileo, "So did he ask for all our names...or only hers, Hun? Cause he left rather quickly." She then feels someone bump into her causing her to lean more on Victoria to keep her balance. Mirabelle looks back and sees the new girl, "Oh...Well hello there. Are you okay?" She hold Victoria around the waist with one arm as she offers her hand to the new girl, "Mirabelle Eros. Mira for short." The Eros girl can't help but wink at Phoibe, "By the way, why are you in such a rush?" She wonders if her showing up was why Galileo left so fast but she manages to behave and not ask. Her eyes wonder to Victoria where she steals a kiss from the other Eros with a soft giggle.
Hayate grinned slightly at the ghost, "Me help you?" He walks right through Kagami unfazed by her touch, "I think you fail to realize, I'm the one with the sword here." He gently tinkers with the blade and hilt seeming adding a fairly advanced looking trigger to the weapon. Kagami simply giggles and taps the tip of her sword, "Which doesn't work on me." She run herself through with the blade again, "So what do you say?" Hayate pulls the katana from the ghost girl, "If you need me..Graduate and meet me in Hidden Katana...you may even get a sword out of it." Phoibe’s face turned red as she rubbed the back of her head. “My brother didn’t wake me for classes and I was running late. Speaking of my brother… there’s a group of girls here and he isn’t flirting with them! He must be sick!” Phoibe didn’t know Galileo’s true intentions. To her, he was nothing more than a pervy, older brother that like girls. He always looked out for her when an outsider of her village would hit on her, trying to get her to use her “powers of seduction” on them, just to see what was better. Personally, it made her sick, but being in the village she was in and her clan, there was very little she could do about it. “I’m really sorry about bumping into you. I was in a rush to get here on time.” Galileo just smiled as he walked Chloe into the classroom. She really was a beautiful girl and he wanted her all for himself. He motioned her to sit down in the seat before him, like a gentleman would do in the old movies. Oh yeah, he was a very smooth guy when he wanted to be. Every now and then, he would hear whispers and snickers from the other classmates. Something about the girl he was with doing a jutsu wrong and, well, she had ran out the classroom crying afterwards. He just gave them a glare that had “say anything else and I’ll rip your limbs off you pathetic, worthless body.” That immediately made everyone in the class shush and look at the front of the room. He then focused his attention on Chloe and gave her a heart melting smile. “If you want, I can practice some of the Jutsu with you after class. It’s not that completely hard once you get the chakra control down.”

~Victoria & Chloe~
"Only hers I think." Victoria said in a soft tone to Mira. She watched over the conversation between Phoibe and Mira until she had a chance to return Mira's kiss. A very flirtatious male ninja from the passion. Wonder who the late girl could be talking about? The brunette smirked at the thought. Maybe it was best if she kept her mouth shut for a while. "I wouldn't worry about being in a rush to class. I just walked out of class.. and I don't think they care that I left. I'm Victoria Eros by the way." she said with a smile.
Chloe followed Galileo closely as they entered the classroom. She hung her head slightly she knew this wasn't going to go well. She took her seat gladly, and nodded a quick thank you. The young girl could even hear the students gossiping to one another. She tensed up a little and turned red. Oh god... this wasn't good at all. Her eyes then widened as he gave the whole classroom a glare followed by a threat. She then smiled some as the class shut up. She couldn't blame them though..she would probably do the same if her limbs were threatened to be ripped off. The male Eros then spoke to her. It seems he didn't catch completely what the students were gossiping about... maybe that was for the best. She gave him a warm smile. "That would be wonderful." she as her cheeks turned a light shade of pink.

~ Mirabelle & Kagami~ Mira smiles at the kiss, "Oh well, I'd rather not know him. Haha." She looks to Phoibe and sighs as she hears that her brother hadn't woken her up, "Are you serous? Your brother sounds like a jerk." Mira simply rolled her eyes and took Phoibe's hand while still holding Victoria around her waist, "I just got here as well...So why don't we all go in at once? I'm sure no one is going to care." She the walks with her new Passion friends back into the class room. Mira leans in and whispers softly in Victoria's ear, "We will sit close to Chloe so she doesn't get in too much trouble with Mr. Hot Shot." The pinkish haired Eros giggles softly as she finds some seats just behind Chloe and Galileo. She heard his threat in the hall way and figured her feeling for the guy was right. If he wasn't evil then there was something loose in his head, but alas she held her thoughts being seated behind Galileo and hanging out with his little sister.
Kagami yawns as she floats back into the classroom. She remains in the back of the room, since making run out of the class in tears, the rest of this would seem boring for now. I mean seriously, she pressed the cutest girl in the class to tears and now she had nothing left seeing as Hayate left the academy with a somewhat makeshift katana. Then again he no doubt went back to fix it up. After all it was a rather rough build and there aren't the proper tools at the academy to craft a swords. Anyway she float there in the back of class watching of the students..oddly the red head boy seemed to be hitting it with Chloe. At least odd for her since the Passion nin seemed to be so shy around her, and the other students. Hell she was even shy when speaking to the teacher, but maybe that is why she is so cute. Its that she is so shy.
The instructor watches Chloe, Victoria, and Kagami return to the class, but his eyes look onto the three late comers. Great, more Passion nin have joined his class, "Nice of you all to join the class." He then points up to Galileo, "Your threats aren't welcome, so bite your tongue." After clearing his throat to get the class's attention, the Instructor continues, "As we have new students in the class. Let us recap on the Art of Transformation, Henge no Jutsu. This time...there shall be no naked transformations." He pushes a pair of glasses up on his nose, "Any volunteers? How about one of you six, that just so happily showed back up for class?" ~Being blind........
Kyu sat down calmly under a tree. She didn't honestly feel like training right then and was watching the clouds float by. Her ears twitched slightly because she could hear kids practicing and training around her. Kyu sighed and adjusted her blindfold a little. She never spoke about why she wore the blindfold, so most kids didn't ask her, but there were a few who constantly pestered her. She sighed and suddenly could feel something coming towards her do to her having practiced Nakagawa and moved quickly to the side, dodging a kunai that would have hurt her if she hadn't moved. The kunai made a loud noise when it went into a tree and stuck there. The kid whom had thrown the kunai sighed with relief. Kyu smirked and then pulled the kunai out of the tree. She figured that she might as well get started now, rather than get started later. She knew that if she could master at least one of these many techniques at the academy she wouldn't have to come back. She planned on mastering them all.
Kyu brushed her odd colored, purple hair back and out of her face even though it didn't affect her sight. She just preferred having her hair out of the way. Kyu sighed and then remembered that they were learning how to do the Art of Substitution. She sighed and then tried to remember the hand signs they were supposed to do. The teacher had shown the class how to do the hand signs, but being blind made it hard for Kyu to see the hand signs. Using Nakagawa made it a little easier for her to tell what the hand signs where, but it was still very hard for her since she hadn't fully mastered the technique. That would take many, many more years. Kyu sighed heavily and impatiently. She thought hard and then suddenly jumped without warning. A big and bright smile spread over Kyu's face as she quickly did hand signs. Kyu then thought of a way to make the jutsu work. She sighed and then ran into a tree, trying to make the jutsu work. It worked because a twig had wacked Kyu upside the head and then Kyu became a log and then reappeared behind the tree and kicked it really hard. "Yes!" Kyu shouted out happily. She smiled and then suddenly got quiet and sat down again. Her cheeks were red from embarrassment of her being so open in public.

Kyu Orimara
~Being blind........
Kyu got over her embarrassment quickly and settled down again. She tucked her purple hair lightly behind her ear and sat down to rest for a second. Her success only made her want to learn even more jutsu then she had planned on learning. If she was going to be a good ninja then she needed to learn all kinds of jutsu. Kyu thought long and hard about what else they were learning in class. Unable to think of anything Kyu went back inside to ask the teacher. She spotted her teacher and ran up to him and asked, "Um.... sir what jutsu are we working on other then the Art of Substitution?" The teacher's amber eyes glowed softly and kindly as he smiled and took Kyu's hand. He moved her fingers and hand into the hand signs so that she would know the hand signs. "Those are the hand signs for Henge no Jutsu. Go outside and try it out." the teacher said letting go of Kyu's hands. Kyu bowed to show her thanks and hurried outside. Once Kyu was outside she had to bit her lip and use all of her self control to contain her excitement. She loved learning new jutsu and training to be a good ninja. She wanted to be able to protect the main branch of her clan. Kyu quickly got ready. She did the hand signs quickly and then thought of the person she wanted to change into, her teacher. She could feel that she had changed, but something wasn't right. it didn't feel like she had transformed correctly. Kyu sighed and then stopped the jutsu and became her normal self. Kyu sighed, very disappointed in her failure. Kyu sighed and told herself that she wouldn't give up. She did the hand signs again, but slower this time to make sure they were right and then did the jutsu. She felt herself transform again. She felt around herself and could tell she had gotten it right this time. She smiled happily and the released the jutsu.

Kyu Orimara
~Being blind........
Kyu sighed and then sat down under a tree again to rest. She decided that she didn't need to push herself over the edge and sat there looking very pleased with herself. She messed with a lock of her hair for a moment and enjoyed the shade of the tree. Kyu sighed happily and then remembered another technique that she had been taught to do. She wasn't very good at it because she had only tried it once before, but she was sure that she would be able to do it now. Kyu sighed softly and breathed in deeply, finding her center. She could hear the wind make the leaves on the trees move and the grass rustling gently and lazily. Kyu suddenly did a few hand signs quickly, charging up her chakara and controlling it inside of her. She closed her eyes as she did the last few hand signs and prayed with all of her might that it would turn out right this time. "Bushin no Jutsu!" Kyu said opening her eyes and doing the jutsu. Two, really ugly clones appear and flopped around on the ground. Kyu hung her head and sighed. She remembered that everyone made mistakes and calmed down. She made the clones disappear and then did the hand signs slowly and calmly. She charged her chakara and found her center. Then she did the jutsu and one perfect clone came out and faced Kyu. Kyu nodded happily, but was determined that she could do better. She made the clone disappear and then charged up some of her chakara and controlled it to the best of her abilities. Then she preformed the jutsu quickly and swiftly. She closed her eyes and hoped that she could do it right. She opened her eyes to find there perfect clones looking right at her. Kyu smiled happily and then made the clones disappear. Kyu smiled happily, but decided it was time to rest. She sat down under the tree to rest for a while.

Kyu Orimara
~Being blind........
Kyu closed her eyes lightly to let her thoughts drift. She loved training, but she understood that sometimes she needed to rest and take a break. Kyu sighed happily when she sense something coming at her quickly and aggressively. Kyu jumped up quickly and to the side. Another student had decided that it would be good to use Kyu as a practice dummy. Kyu smirked as the boy cursed under his breath because when Kyu moved he slammed his fist into the tree. Leaves shook and fell down from the hit, swirling around. Kyu could feel the leaves coming down and for once wished she could see them coming down. Kyu sighed softly and then dodged another one of the boy's punches. She didn't really want to fight. She sighed and wished that she knew the tree climbing technique. Then she would be able to get away without fighting. She jumped back and did a back flip gracefully dodging a kick to her hip. She got into a fighting stance and remembered how to do the tree climbing technique. But if I don't do it right, he'll get a hit in on me every time I try...... What should I do? Kyu thought biting her lip, a habit of hers, and thinking hard about whether to try it or not.
Kyu sighed heavily and against her disliking of letting people get cheap shots in did the hand signs to the tree climbing jutsu. "A jutsu isn't gonna help you! I'm gonna pulverize you!" The boy yelled running at Kyu with his meaty fist held back so when he got close enough he'd be able to punch Kyu. Kyu stuck her tongue out at the boy and then turned around and started running. Her purple hair swung around as Kyu ran quickly from the boy. She charged up chakara into her feet and ran quickly at a tree. She started up the tree quickly and got out a kunai to mark how high she got. The boy growled that Kyu had gotten away, but stayed put because he knew that the tree climbing technique didn't last forever. He had a very smudge look on his face as he watched Kyu trying to go up the tree. Kyu felt the chakara in her feet slowly fading away and quickly marked the tree and fell back down. She landed on her feet only to receive a heavy punch to her face, followed by a knee to her stomach. Kyu didn't mind her face too much, but getting kicked hard in the stomach wasn't a pleasant feeling. Kyu held her stomach and tried to regain her breath. She bit her lip and was mad now. She lunged at the boy and kicked him in the head, knocking out one of his teeth. The boy growled and then lunged at Kyu, but she moved away quickly and punched the boy. She bit her lip even harder and then ran at the tree, doing hand signs. She didn't want to get in trouble for fighting. Kyu quickly went up the tree. This time she had used more chakara so she went up father, but not by much. She started falling back down and she knew the boy was down there waiting for her. She quickly did the hand signs for Art of Substitution. She landed with a thud, but on her feet, when a kick hit her ribs. Kyu suddenly turned into a log and then reappeared behind the boy and kicked him in the head, knocking him down this time. Kyu smirked, feeling good that she could handle a bully. Kyu laughed softly and then ran at the tree again, determined to do the jutsu right. A thought entered her head before she reached the tree, Maybe instead of using more chakara it's about chakara control again. Conserve your chakara and let it last. Kyu ran up the tree quickly and strongly. She went past her other mark and straight up to the top. Kyu smiled happily and trusted her hand in the air. Determined to learn more jutsu she remembered the water walking technique and thought about how to do the hand signs for that.

Kyu Orimara

Kyu smiled a bright and happy smile. She only had one other jutsu to learn and then she would have learned all of the jutsu that the academy teaches, of course she could always choose to train for a while after she learns all of the jutsus. Kyu sighed and felt the warm bright sun on her. She could remember how to do the water walking technique, but she didn't dare come down from the top of the tree because the boy who had attacked her was still down at the bottom of the tree, wanting revenge on Kyu for her hitting and kicking him so much. "Get down here! I'm gonna get you for attacking me!" The boy yelled, throwing his fists up in the air. Kyu smirked and laughed slightly. "I didn't attack you first. You started it. Don't bit off a piece of meat that's too big for you to chew." Kyu yelled down at him. She was perfectly happy with waiting for her chakara to come back and for the boy to go away.

The boy finally left after an hour and Kyu was left alone to practice. Kyu smiled like a kid that had just won a piece of candy. Kyu sighed and then grabbed a leaf from the branch next to her and held it in the palm of her hand. Her having a blindfold and being blind made it so she would never be able to see a leaf, but she believe that sometimes not being able to see made it so you could pay attention to things that are much more important. Kyu sighed and jumped down from the tree and listened for the sound of water. She located where a small lake was almost instantly and walked slowly towards it. Kyu never saw a reason to rush into something so she took her time. She could hear the soft crunch of leaves on the ground as she walked on them. She turned her head towards the lake and then thought about how she wanted to practice. She was pretty sure that this would take even more chakara control, so she was taking her time since chakara control wasn't her strong point. Kyu did the hand signs slowly and carefully, not wanting to mess up because the water she was going to practice on was really warm. Kyu sighed, feeling a little nervous. She brushed back her long purple hair and fiddled with her dress a little. She sighed softly and then felt the chakara on her feet. She stepped slowly and carefully onto the water. She walked forward taking small and slow steps. She could feel water on her feet. A flare of panic filled her mind as she slowly began to sink. She suppressed the urge to scream and fought to control her emotions. Kyu took many deep breaths and felt the panic slowly slip away. She sighed softly and was calm even though she was knee deep in the burning water. She lifted her foot and took another step. She suddenly found herself walking on the water without trouble. She smiled, proud of herself and walked back onto land. She sighed and was very happy. She then suddenly felt light headed and fell down onto the ground. She passed out from exhaustion from training so hard for so long. Kyu woke up feeling better and left the academy. It would be the last time she had to go to that place.

Yukimura and Hidetada would have continued to talk but then suddenly all of the students began to walk in. It seemed that it was time for class to start. Dozens of students were walking through the doors of the class room and Yukimura decided to turn around and face forward. It seemed that there were a lot more students in Hidden Heaven than he thought. As the students were walking into class, so indeed was the teacher. He was a young man, not too much older than the students themselves, which Yukimura found interesting. Was this person really a chuunin? last post 153
