Abel was still irritated with Miguel but not enough to mistreat him. He had already taken care of him this morning. Abel wasn't as petty as not to feed him especially when he would be buying breakfast for himself. He scrolled through the many choices. Abel moved slowly through the options so they both could look over the menu. He soon heard Miguel question him with the obvious. Abel smiled, simply finding it amusing. After all, the sad fact was that he never learned. "I never learned…My mother didn't really believe in letting boys in the kitchen…if you were hungry, then you let her know and she'd prepare it for you…" He replied commenting, knowing it seemed odd.

Jakob watched the male scroll through the menu. He knew that Abel was not cruel enough to let him starve. But he also couldn’t blame him if he didn’t want to pay for his breakfast. As they continued to talk he was curious why Abel had never learned to cook. Even now since Kieran run off. It had to be getting expensive ordering out all the time. Though no doubt that Abel could afford it. He didn’t know much about his family, but could assume that his family must have been pretty well off, and his professional life allowed him to continue a comfortable lifestyle as well. Jakob soon questioned him, he watched him smile and listened to Abel explain. ”Really, no boys in the kitchen? So does that mean Addy can cook?” he asked.

Indeed buying food was expensive but it wasn't like he had a lot of choices. He could either fend for himself, starve or call his sister. Abel left himself with the expense of buying food. After all, it wasn't likely he was going to learn to cook or have Abby cook for him. He hoped Kirean wasn't gone for long. Abel could only guess he was merely taking a break. He rolled his eyes as Miguel questioned him. "Yes, she cooks…Do you want me to invite her over to cook breakfast for you instead?" Abel teased at the idea of having his sister come over to cook them breakfast.

The way he saw it, Abel did have a choice. He was simply choosing not to learn to cook. However he wasn’t going to say that. If Abel wanted to be waited on or have his food delivered to him all the time that was also a choice. A lazy one, but he couldn’t say these days that he was doing much better. The trash in his room back at the hotel was full of takeout containers and other quick fix meals. Nothing of any substance would be found. He would not be surprised if he was starting to put on any weight from all the poor food choices. Jakob continued to question Abel and watched him roll his eyes. Jakob returned the gesture as the man teased. ”Like she would ever do something like that. The only thing she would be cooking are my balls over an open flame for getting in the way of whatever thing she had going on with Kieran.” he replied. Jakob easily recalled how much the woman disliked him. With Kieran gone, she probably loathed him with every fiber of her being and cursed him for ever coming into their lives.

Abel hardly cared if he was lazy. That was his business. He listened as Miguel spoke of Addy's interest in Kirean. Abel found his words amusing. "Indeed she wouldn't mind that but their relationship hasn't been sexual since we were teenagers…nor have he and I been sexual since then… Kirean prefers to make his choices and doesn't like people making them for him…" He replied for as much information as he knew. Abel hadn't been intimate with Kirean in years nor had Addy. She preferred to control her partners which Kirean didn't enjoy.

Jakob no longer cared if Abel wanted to order out. So long as the food was edible and filling it was all that mattered. He continued to talk about Abel’s sister and her dislike for him. Beside him Abel listened before commenting on her as well. His words, while true, didn’t really make him feel any better. ”She may not have slept with him, but that doesn’t stop her from trying other things.” he said softly. Jakob was quite a moment, soon sighing as he returned his attention to him. ”So, what happened between you and Kieran? Like who broke it off or was it like a mutual thing?” Jakob didn’t want to talk about Kieran’s relationship to Addy. Though he wasn’t looking for specifics on Abel’s own relationship with him, somehow it didn’t bother him as much to listen to.

Addy's relationship never went far with Kirean. It was just meaningless sex to Kirean, after all Addy had been the first woman to him. He cared for her as a sister not as a lover. It had been his mistake to get close to her in such a manner. Addy loved him but it would never work out between them. She was protective though for all the wrong reasons at times. Kirean didn't push it as he didn't want to hurt her. Though being with Miguel, he knew it had upset her, as he didn't date or have relationships that lasted longer than a quick ********.

Abel listened as Miguel spoke of Addy wanting more. He shrugged at the thought, not caring too much. Abel listened as Miguel sighed, soon moving to the next relationship of his comment. He found the words amusing as he thought about it. "It was mutual, Kirean and I experimented mostly…He didn't want to be beneath anyone anymore." Abel responded as he thought of Kirean and himself when they were younger. Kirean didn't want to be the victim anymore. He wanted to branch out and learn more about his sexualality as it had been screwed up when he was a child.

Jakob knew that Kieran’s relationship with Addy had been short lived but never asked for the specifics. He didn’t understand why even years later she was so possessive of him, to the point of angering Kieran. Jakob understood that Kieran cared for her and not in that way. It was still annoying to watch her flirt and do what she pleased when he was around. He hated to think what tricks she played when Kieran would go over after they fought. Kieran assured him that nothing happened, but he didn’t think it was without a lack of trying.

He continued to ask Abel about his own relationship or rather the lack there of. For whatever reason it didn’t bother him as much that Kieran had been with Abel. Perhaps it was because of his own on and off relations with him. Even now he didn’t know what they were doing. He’d only give himself a headache if he tried to put a label on it. Jakob listened to the male talk about their breakup and a brief reason for why they had broken up. He nodded quietly, thinking that it sounded like a good enough reason. Given all he’d been through it made sense that he would no longer want such reminders in a relationship. ”Do you ever miss it? What you had with him?” he asked curiously. Abel’s words made him curious. He mentioned how Kieran held no desire to be under anyone, but he recalled not too long ago him suggesting that he do just that if the three of them were ever together.

Kirean had agreed only to be included. However the thought now, would create panic and anger in him. He didn't think he could be part of a threesome with Abel and Miguel. Kirean was angry with Miguel, he wasn't entirely accepting of whatever Abel and Miguel had going on.

Abel continued to read through the menu though already knew what he wanted. He listened as Miguel questioned him again. Abel found his words amusing. He shrugged at his words. "We weren't lovers, so there was nothing to miss…I merely helped him through his darkest moments." Abel responded, remembering the first time he saw Kirean naked. His body had been covered in bruises and cuts, it was even before he knew Kirean or became friends with him. They had been in the locker room in high school during their freshman year.

At this point Jakob was not expecting to hear from Kieran ever again. He had made it quite clear that he wanted nothing to do with him. Not only that, he had gone so far as to ignore Abel and Addy as well. Whatever thoughts Jakob had on him or their relationship no longer mattered. It was over. He could forget all about those titillating thoughts of what might could be between the three of them. He could say goodbye to any future with Kieran, and hell, Abel too. Seeing as the man didn’t want anything like that with anyone.

Beside the man, he watched him continue to scroll through the menu all the way down to the bottom. He didn’t really care as he was likely to order whatever Abel was having. Jakob continued to question the man. He couldn’t help being curious about both of their pasts. It wasn’t as though Kieran talked much about his past, and most of the time he had given him a pass given his circumstance. But he had wondered about his time after he started living with Abel and his family. Jakob listened to the man talk, nodding along. ”For someone that likes to be thought of as the boogie man, you’re surprisingly kind.” he teased lightly. He didn’t need the details of what a mess Kieran was when they were together, he only wanted to know if there was ever anything more than sex. From what Abel was telling him, he had his answer.

While Kirean was angry and hurt, he just wanted space. He was likely to reconnect though with who he wasn't sure. Abel and Addy were family, however with Miguel it was hard to explain. He didn't know where to go anymore with Miguel. Kirean was sure Miguel didn't understand what he had done. He felt as if he barely knew the man he loved, which were the facts.

Finally settling on pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, and hashbrowns; Abel placed an order for something simple then complicated. After placing the order, he set his phone aside. His relationship with Kirean had been more than sex. Without Abel, Kirean would likely be dead; by his own hand or someone else killing him. Abel listened as Miguel teased him. He found his words to be laughable. "Would you rather I be cruel?" Abel asked curiously as he glanced at Miguel.

If Kieran showed up this very second he didn’t know what he would do. He could imagine a few scenarios though none of them turned out good. Most of them were just Kieran being disgusted by his presence and whatever he believed was going on with Abel. Abel had tried explaining to him why Kieran would leave like that so he wasn’t completely ignorant in that regard. Only in his way of seeing things. Perhaps they simply were too different.

Jakob continued to sit beside Abel while the man placed an order at last. He thought his choice to be a good one and was looking forward to it. Jakob went on to tease the man as he set his phone down and gave him his full attention. He smiled as Abel questioned him and shook his head. ”Hmm, not today. I’m too injured for you to be cruel. What if I need help to the bathroom later?” he replied. Jakob wasn’t expecting help for such things, but he definitely didn’t want to be left alone. Besides he liked having someone to confide in and to answer his silly questions.

Abel enjoyed being cruel. He however didn't try to be all the time. Abel knew when it was needed and when he needed to be kind. He teased Miguel, he listened as he responded. Abel laughed at his words. "Hm, yes…I'd hate for you to make a mess of yourself, especially on my bed." He teased in return as Miguel found the obvious reason for him to be kind.

Jakob didn’t really understand the purpose of wanting to be cruel. Despite what Abel might think of him as an assassin, he was usually pretty good at his job. For most people the idea of being taken out by someone they never met was scary enough, so he didn’t need to be cruel for them to cooperate. Of course this wasn’t to say that he couldn’t be cruel, he just never needed to be on Abel’s level of cruelty. They continued to tease each other back and forth. Jakob smiled warmly as Abel laughed beside him and teased him again. ”Certainly not. We must protect the Egyptian cotton.” he teased back. He smiled back at Abel and shifted slightly to lean against him. He wouldn’t say it aloud but he also liked them spending time like this. If Abel was being cruel or just in a bad mood, then he would probably be up here all alone. At least like this they could laugh and have fun, he could almost forget the literal pain in his side.

Indeed being cruel was not always the solution but he knew when to turn it off in some ways. However it could snap back just as quickly if need be. While Kirean and Abel could be cruel, they had their moments. He found the idea of Miguel being cruel, comical. Abel was amused by the idea. Teasing Miguel, he laughed soon hearing him tease back. He felt the bed shift as Miguel soon leaned against him. Abel didn't mind as if he wasn't going anywhere. "Yes, indeed…Though I hardly think you want to be left in your own soil…" He teased again as he relaxed beside Miguel. Abel moved as he reached out to take Miguel's hand.
