Gabriel heard the guns from above, and promptly moved. Cain barely avoiding the relentless onslaught of the gatling guns. He decided to use Gabriel as a meat shield, and Wolfgang stopped his assault immediately.
"Using Gabriel as a hostage, hm? This can't be good. What's he planning?"
Indeed, what was the psycho planning? Wolfgang leaned forward a little to get a better look, but the gun accidentally went off under him, blood pouring from three places on Gabriel's torso. s**t.
Cain released Gabriel, watching the quarter-human freefall into the rocks. The demon just laughed at their pathetic attempts to save him.

Ivy smiled knowing that what she was doing to Raziel was working and she continued her loving torture, soft moans passing over her lips as Raziel kissed her neck softly.

((Jade do you want Ivy and RAziel to just do it? cause i dont know what to post for him. Too much lovey dovey stuff leaves my muse high and dry. hah.))
Vlad had stopped his assualt as well.. until Wolfy slipped and the gun miss fired. Dammit! The minute Gabriels body was out of the way of Cain Vlad started firing again at the Demon. He didnt have any other ideas.

((It doesn't matter, you can put up the time skip and Raziel and Ivy can go out for a little and do something, Ivy can't really help the others because she's prego right now. Altho I think I'm going to have Ivy have the kid in my next post or the post after. But I was going to wait until the other had delt with Cain first))

Cain, now having a free load, made a dash for the ruined temple, and taking some bullets in the legs while fleeing. The pilots went into pursuit, bullets flying from the gatling guns.
"We'll hafta land to get to Gabriel. He may be almost full demon, but these are armor-eating slugs. They use hot mercury to punch through armor. Last I checked, mercury is poisonous!"
The pilots did comply with Vincent's request, and landed the Huey.

After having their fun Raziel and Ivy headed to a nice little get away in the mountains. Where Ivy would be pampered and catered to while the labor continued. There would be daily massages, manicures, pedicures, meals in bed, and every other pampered pleasantry mankind and Noble kind had thought of.

D bound out of the Huey as soon as it landed. Vlad and Lilly had done the same and all three went searching for Gabriel. It was Lilly who spotted him first.

Ivy let Raziel have all the control for their little vaction in the mountains. And she enjoyed every minute of it. But she knew that she would be having the baby really soon. She could tell that it was getting closer to that time. But as long as Raziel was there with her, she figured that she would okay until the baby came, then that's when she would be freaking out a lot more. She wouldn't be getting a lot of sleep she knew that, she would have to feed the baby almost constantly she thought. And the changing she would leave to Raziel, just to torement him a little.
As Ivy laid on her back while she was getting a massage from Raziel, she had her eyes closed and was watching the fight through her fathers eyes as if she were really there or if she were her dad. However, he was the one doing all the fighting not her. Which for her, hurt...alot. With her being prego she couldn't do any of the fighting or training that she not only wanted, but needed so she wouldn't feel hold. However she was old at her young looking age. But s**t happens right?
While Ivy watched the fight between her friends and family against Cain, she was relaxing as Raziel massaged her shoulders. Then her thoughts ran more towards the fighting.
"Damn I wish I could be there to help them out...why did I have to get pregnant now when I should be out there with my family and friends and keeping them safe as best as I can? Getting ready to have a baby sucks sometimes and it's usually wrong timing too, but it was most my fault I guess."

Gabriel looked ready to die any minute. The mercury was spreading faster than expected. Hector tried to drag the fallen angel to the chopper, but he was too heavy to drag alone. Vincent and Victor also tried helping, while Daggerfang kept watch for Cain.
"He's heavy! Going to need more help here!"

D and Vlad raced to Gabriels side and aided Vincent, Victor and Hector with the fallen angel. Lilly aided too where she could. With all of them they were able to lift the Angel.

The group tossed Gabriel into the chopper. Victor told the pilots to radio for medical personnel and get the angel back to the Keep on the double. They took off, leaving them to their high-tech devices... literally.
"Let's go get Cain."
Daggerfang boldly stalked off to the temple, gun at the ready. Hopefully Cain's madness would be stopped for good this time.

D grabbed his daggers, Vlad grabbed what Vincent and the others had. The two followed after the others. As they made their way inside Vlad began to grow uneasy, but it was only because of the memory of the Chaos eaters.

D wasnt far behind, infact he was side by side with Dag. How where they suppose to kill Cain exactly?

Lilly followed the group as well, she had seen the book Cain used and knew she needed to grab it from him to help everyones perdicament.

Ivy kept her eyes closed as Raziel continued to work on her tired, tense, and stressed body at their little get away, but Ivy was watching the fight through her father's eyes still, she didn't want to miss anything. The sight of Gabrieal hurt her a little but he had a reason for staying behind while the others ran to take care of their own problems. But at least they all returned to get him back to the keep.
As Ivy watched the group go into the Temple, she could only hope that this would be the last time that Cain ever set foot back on Earths grounds. Even if it ment that she had to find away of killing him herself just to keep her friends and family safe she would do so. But she was home/bedbound after her and Raziel get back home from their "vacation".

Dag had wasted no time. He found Cain in a slump, on his broken throne, with only the book in his hands. Where was the hourglass?
"He had two things with him... where's the other thing?"
They started to look for the hourglass. The temple was so ruined, hardly any shadows were present. This meant no sneak attacks from any shadow-dwelling critter.

Vlad ran off already to go search for the Hourglass. Lilly followed after him, while D kept his eyes trained on Cain.
"We should kill him.." D commented to Dag about Cain.

"I found it!" Lilly called as she pointed to a large pile of rubble.

Vlad ran to her side and started clearing away rocks and such. Yeah there it was underneath everything. Damn.. it seemed Gabriel had done all the work. Poor Fallen Angel.. they'd have to throw him a party for this, so logn as he survived his wounds.

The others helped out with the clearing of rubble, until they had uncovered the glowing thing. The sands inside swirled and spun, as if trying to get out. It took the shape of a face, begging to be let out, before getting lost in the vortex. Was this really an item, or was it a prison for something else?
"That's interesting. Never seen anything like that before."
Cain did not move from the throne. He seemed to be dead already.
