Nyl Phairen ~Reeve, you would use your soldiers as cannon fodder like that? And Seph, that plan has merit...but I'd prefer to do it with no death at all, on either side. There's been too much of that already.~ ~Not cannon fodder, Nyl. Mine are the best of the best. Ask Seph, he's seen 'em. They're not like one step below us, I'll admit, but they're the closest to special forces that Eirren has. But, fine. How bout a thunderstorm and a power outage?~

~We discussed a loss of power yesterday. With the way this place is set up, I don't know what that would do to our ability to reach Fen and Neko.~ She sent Reeve the same images she had Seph, the layout of the room the two of them were in and how it was accessed, as well as some of the rooms around it.

Seph looked into his mug and thought for a few seconds and followed her into the main room.

~Don't have much choice in that, now do I? And I know you would, Reeve...but I don't think the solution to this is in what any one of us would do. I think, as hard ( wink ) as it may be, that we're going to have to work together.~

Nyl shivered suddenly, glancing without really knowing why at the dojo door. That was an unsettling feeling...
