Nyl started to make tea, humming quietly to herself. She seemed much happier than she had yesterday, and the 'tired' look now was more of an accomplished one than a desperate one.
"Well. There's a lot I'm sure you want to know. Ask away."

Reeve stands at parade rest, his military mode kicking in. "Where are they? Why haven't they returned? When do we go get them?"

Seph emerged from his room, yawning softly. He lazily tucked his shirt in and put his hands behind his head.

She poured a mug of tea for herself and one for Reeve, handing him his. She looked at him squarely, but her expression remained calm. "They haven't returned because they can't, just yet. Going to get them is what I need help with. ...And a plan, too, which is why I'm going to tell you this in the first place."
~You have to promise me you won't run off trying to do something by yourself. As much as you might want to. Please.~

~They're imprisoned. And all that will happen to your team if you send them to do anything is that they will be captured as well. Or killed.~
She looked at him pleadingly. "Please, don't do anything reckless. I'm starting to put together a plan, but it's going to take more than one person to pull off. I need your help."

"You've never seen them properly work. But I'll do what you ask, Nyl. The longer this takes the more I dislike it..."

"Trust me, even the best you could come up with could do nothing. I know you dislike it - so do I. But it's what we have to work with. ...Thanks."
He doesn't know what it was they did...nobody does...and I wouldn't tell any of them, anyway.

"There's something nobody is being told. On purpose. Mostly because I spend most of my waking minutes and all of my sleeping ones with it on my mind, and I'd rather not talk about it, too. ...But if you want to know, I'll tell you."
Please don't force me to...

Instead of answering out loud, Nyl sent him images. Images of what Durem looked like when she got there, what Fenrir had left in his wake. Of all the people who they'd killed...and how it had been done.
She'd turned to face the window, holding lightly onto the counter for support. She rubbed her eyes after a moment, surprised at herself.

Reeve walks up to Nyl and places a hand on her shoulder. He looks dry eyed and as though he has aged in the last few seconds. "F- Fenrir's a god...we couldn't expect a bloodless victory..." He breaks off, knowing that the same words came out of his superiors' mouths in the war. But they never eased the pain or erased the sorrow. Eira, please guide the fallen to a sunlit glade of no cold nor hunger, and forgive the hands to whom they fell...and please help me to do the same.

Clow got up from his chair again, now safe in knowing that Nami would be okay. With a small yawn and a good ol' stretch, Clow pocketed his hands, leaving the room, travelling down the hallway and soon entering the main room.
