Cody looked at Adie, staring deeply into her eyes as if trying to find some hint of what he was supposed to do. Like she had the answer. Next thing he knew Houndour had pushed her into him. He caught her perfectly, his face turning bright red now. "Does that always happen, or was it just a lucky coincidence?" Cody asked, returning the laugh.

"What should I do? Well it looks like Cody and Adie want to be left alone, so I should leave the area for a bit. Crawdaunt lets go hit some trees and practice your abilities ok?" Crawdaunt: "OK lets go." *reaper and crawdaunt leave them 2 alone and head to the woods for some fun and training and the fight cloud continues*

"Maybe lucky for you. The back of your calves weren't just hit by a scaled down tackle attack," she said with a slight laugh, her sense of humor obviously still in tact despite that fact that her face was practically glowing. Clearing her throat, she regained her balance once more, glaring back at the pokemon who sat down a little ways away from them, watching them as if she expected something.
"I don't know what has gotten into her...she never acts like that."

"Very true, but things happen, ya know?" he smiled and partially cleared his throat as well. He STILL didn't know how to say what he wanted to say, but knew it had to happen soon. At any point, Skylar could come back and ruin everything. Looking up, he said, "Ya know, I wish we weren't landlocked right now. Spending a night on the beach under the stars with you would be awesome," and with that, he softly kissed her on the lips for the very first time.

Adie smiled as he said he wished they could spend the night under the stars on the beach, laughing slightly. Before she had a chance to really respond, however, he leaned in, his lips meeting hers. She was a little shocked, her body tensing slightly before it relaxed softly, keeping the kiss lingering for a moment before she broke apart from him, a smile on her lips as she looked at him, giggling softly.
"I...well...wow," she said with a laugh, biting her lower lip gently as her face deepened it's shade of scarlet, her green eyes darting between him and the ground. Her lips were still tingling from the kiss, repressing another giggle that threatened to escape her again. She didn't want to look like a total fool.

Cody was completely shocked. He didn't think he had it in him to actually kiss her but apparently, he did. He had proven himself wrong and was now mentally floored. "I'm sorry..." was all he could say. Think of something. Don't just stand there! Do something! Say something else! He kept telling himself but the words nor the actions seemed to come. She was smiling. Maybe it was ok, but he wouldn't press for another one.

"Don't be," she said after a moment, stepping forward and giving him another soft kiss on the lips. It lingered for a moment before she stepped back, another giggle escaping her as she stepped back, tossing her hair over her shoulder.
"I'm sorry I keep laughing, I'm just...happy," she said with another giggle, covering her mouth with her hands as she looked down from him, trying to look a lot more cool than she was feeling right now. Inside her heart was pounding, her mind screaming at her to play it cool, but she just could not stop blushing or smiling. It was a rather strange feeling.

He was hit with an even bigger surprise when she kissed him back. He was obviously not expecting it as he stepped back, completely amazed. She seemed to be a very good kisser and he liked that. Just another thing to add on his "What I like about Adie" list. He smiled and laughed a little as well, still fairly surprised. "There's- There's a small lake up the road a ways if you want to be by the water," he suggested.

"I never turn down being by the water," she said with a small smile, wrapping her arms around her stomach as she leaned back and forth on her heels slightly, glancing at him once in a while as she spoke. Her mind kept replaying the kiss in her mind, which she had to fight to stop - she needed to focus on the present more than the very recent past.
"Let's go."

Cody started slowly walking, his mind also replying what had just happened in a step by step mode. He offered his hand like he always did when they walked together. Having her there with him felt right in so many ways. Their destination was just up the road so he tried walking unnoticeably slower than normal. "You ok?" he looked over at her and smiled.

Adie took his hand as he offered it, drawing close to him as they walked along. It seemed they were going a little slower than usual, but she didn't mind in the least. He asked if she was ok, and she looked over at him with a slightly bashful smile, nodding quickly.
"I'm...perfect. Are you ok," she asked, suddenly feeling like she might have done something wrong to make him think that she wasn't alright. Trying to wipe the smile off her lips was hard, but she was at least making some progress.

"I'm just fine," he smiled contently. "Anything in particular on your mind?" He wanted to make her feel comfortable even after the kiss. This was just another night on the tow, with maybe a hint or two if added bonuses.
