She noticed his grin and decided to be privately satisfied that he'd understood, at least partially, later.
~I have a lot of those. I had to pass through the whole thing as my spirit-self.~ She sent him every mental image she had, a few of which were, to put it mildly, unsettling. ~Neko...Neko and Fen said...they'd been taken and interrogated...I owe them a lot for not going into details.~

Seph gripped the arm of the chair fiercely, the flood of images not taking him by surprise, but overwhelming him. He let out his breath suddenly and shook his head, his lower jaw quivering just slightly. He looked upat her and shook his head softly.
He slowly closed his eyes, trying to shake the images from his mind before looking back at her. He frowned some. He could tell something--other than the obvious--was wrong with Nyl.
~Wow.. Okay.. time to start formulating escape plans..~

~Yes. ...Please don't ever ask me what Durem looked like when they were through with it. So, escape plans...the best I've come up with involve either explosions or somehow knocking out every single guard in the facility. Which takes a lot more chakra than I've got, unless I were at full strength. And then only maybe, and I'd be useless afterward.~
She was starting to shiver, despite thinking that it was becoming unusually warm in the room. But that didn't seem to matter much at the moment. She was back at the dojo and at the moment she wasn't desperately needed. It was almost relaxing.

~No, I'm hot. And explosions could be more dnagerous than you think. I mean...suppose word of one gets to the guards and they do something to Fen and Neko before we can get there?~

~Shivering? Maybe you're just too used to being way too hot for human standards, and you only think I'm shivering. ...And suppose the loss of a power source sends the room they're in plummeting?~
She was shivering, though, even if only slightly.

~I'm not saying remove the power source, I'm saying make the explosions look like they were caused by said power source. Like an electrical spark over a damaged gasoline generator. That's why we have to be so careful. Precision. If we're not spot on, then that room will plummet, and even if we're both at full-chakra, I doubt we'd be able to hold it up for any extensive period of time. ..I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter what temperature is a person's 'natural', shivering is shivering.. Are you okay?~

~Well then, you're in luck. Precision's my game.~ She opened both eyes and looked at him - her gaze was unfocused, sort of foggy. ~I probably shouldn't feel as warm as I do...but I'm hoping I'm imagining it. I think.~

Seph stood and moved over infront of her, looking into her eyes, confused some. His mouth was partially open, as if he were thinking deeply. ~I know it is. I wouldn't want to try this with anyone else.. You don't mind my impromtu examination, do you?~ He said, moving his head side to side some, hoping her eyes would follow, giving a makeshift eye-follow test.

She blinked at him once, then shut her eyes and buried her face in the couch. ~I mind. Which should be enough proof for you that I'm mentally mostly together, still. ...Somehow.~

Seph grinned and put a hand on her shoulder, standing up and taking a few steps back. ~It's not your mental state I'm concerned about. If there's anyone that's mentally sound here, it's you. It's your physical state. You're hot, but you're shivering.~ Seph took a deep breath, as if pulling some of the heat from the air around her with his lungs. It wasn't too drastic though.

~That...feels better. I could...I...~ She drifted off halfway through the sentence, sound asleep. She hadn't wanted to face the dreams either, but she had little choice in the matter.

Seph rubbed his head, then moved to the closet and took another blanket out. He lay it half-over her, tucking her in and stretched. She was hot, he wasn't going to make it worse for her.
~Sleep well. Sweet dreams.~ He smiled and made his way back into his room, flopping down on the mat, and passing out.
(( >.< 8:00? On a Saturday? Jeez! Hehe, sleep well! ))
