I'm starting to see why this place is so dead sad Edit: I have a monitor that is 1920x1080 for resolution. I bring this up, because I made a training post that was 7 3/4's lines. I mention this because it used to be 4 lines on 1280x800 screen. We have 427 members. Of those, i think less than 10 actually post more than once a week. Basically, if we don't change something, this guild is basically closed, because no one is here RPing. No one has time to write 8 page essays for fun. Somehow, we really need to fix things, and then kick up recruitment so this place actually has a point again. Seeing as there are no less than 8 other naruto guilds that are not thriving with their own systems and have far more activity... So yeah. I wonder if it'll be a week before anyone actually replies in the guild chatterbox. Sign of the times... crying Armads, I've been meaning to tell you this for a while... With 1900 x 1080, centered site 8 lines is the same thing as 4 on 1289 x 800. Which when we still had line count. (which is only like 200 words) Furthermore if you want to write an essay for Konoha's lit bonus and that's what is killing you, I have to say that you're digging your own grave since that is a Bonus. Plus if my theory is right those points are actually bad for you. ' as a side note, I went and changed my resolution to see if you were right. As it turned out, 8 lines on 1920x1080 = 14 1/4 lines on 1280x800. Not that it matters of course, I just wondered how 8 became 4 on a smaller resolution. confused

Forgot to add that the smaller res is also not with the centered site. Back when we had the 4 line requirement there was no centered option for the site.

I didn't know that there was such an option... Regardless, it's not really important anymore. But I am curious as to this option. Time to look for it to find out!

My opinion that it looks awful on such a large screen resolution as mine, because it wastes about 66% of the screen... When enabled the option, 8 lines became 21 lines. I still have no idea where you came up with 4 lines, because now I want to see how that can be done.

Wrong direction....
If you have 8 lines on centered 1920 x 1080 it becomes 4 lines on the "normal" site. I also recently tested the lower res and I was slightly mistaken it then becomes 6ish lines on 1280 x 800. Which again is 1920 x 1080 centered 8 lines -> 1920 x 1080 "normal" 4 lines -> to 1280 x 800 "normal" 6ish.

I'm not following your logic, but I'll take your word for it that I'm missing something. Because generally the lower the resolution, the more lines something needs for the same things.
But anyway, that's kind of pointless here now because that issue is solved! What is important here is figuring out how we're going to attract new members and get this place active again! 3nodding
