Satoshi almost ignored the fiends and casually cast a firaga spell or two at a group of lupins with one hand. "This is why some magic abilities are useful to ninjas" she grinned sending all her attention back to the jutsu in her other hand.

Felina glanced over at Alpha anxiously "Can't you hurry it up a little? If more of these fiends attack someone is going to get hurt" she questionned but felt slightly more at ease when she saw Oassu take out the Gemini.

Hayate dodged out the way of an iron giants blade and fired an arrow into one of the heads of a chimera. He quickly moved in and sliced off the tail with his knife before finishing off the rest of the fiend with blizzara.

Hebal tensed up as the esper emerged in front of the. The surrounding mist began to turn a thick dark yellow colour "This is pretty bad but it has been defested in the past" she muttered before placing a hand on Mari's shoulder "You don't need to do that. It didn't really hurt and if I spent all my time being careful I wouldn't learn any new abilities".

Alpha swore at the sight of Zalera on the battlefield "This is not good" he stated as the end of the cannon produced an almost blinding light. He cleared his throat "We have three choices now; we shoot Kyato which should cause this thing to disappear, we can shoot Zalera and try to find another way of defeating Kyato or we can try and lure them into the same area and shoot them both at once"

Seph took a moment to think about each of the options also trying to work out what she knew about the creature "I would say the first option, but whatever everyone does, do not let him hit you. Each hit has about a one in four chance of killing you" she warned.

Kyato laughed "ok now Zalera come!" he said snapping his fingers and pointing to Satoshi.

Zalera raised it's head and slowly began to float towards Satoshi.

Oassu dodged out of the way of its claw "How can we stop it if it can kill us so easily" he said throwing a kunai harmlessly into it's cape.

Itaka nodded in agreement "I can only get close to attack," he said backing away "You may need to let him go Satoshi" he muttered.

Mari glanced at the demon "What a monster" she said packing up her stuff before giving Hebal the once over "Blue mages I'll never understand them." she said shaking her head "Tell me there isn't any techniques you need to learn from him" she said pointing to Zalera.

Zadina sighed "I'd just teleport us out of here. Your family Felina so your welcome to come along for the ride, but if you insist" he said floating over to Satoshi.

Zalera cackled menacingly as he raised a claw above Satoshi charged with dark energy.

"Dismiss" Zadina muttered sending a small particle of light through Zalera who faded away immediately.

Kyato's eye's widened "What?!?! IMPOSSIBLE!"

Zadina folded his arms "Very possible, espers and aeons all share the same weakness in that they are bound to their summoner so a simple severing of that connection dismisses them."

Felina was about to ask Alpha to wait until she was ready but by that point he had already fired the cannon. She quickly removed the barrier surrounding the cannon and moved over to Oassu.

"Wait just a minute neither of us are-" Satoshi replied to protest but fell silent as the beam of the cannon headed towards her and Kyato. She pulled her arm out of the jutsu and clapped her hands together before disappearing into a cloud of smoke with only a second to spare before the beam hit Kyato.

Hayate covered his ears as the cannon fire produced an ear shattering explosion. He then looked around as the dust began to settle around the cave and less rocks began to fall from the ceiling "Do you think it worked?"

Seph sighed as Kyato's head hit the floor "What an idiot. But whatever, lets just go back up since we have a lot of walking to do" she stated turning around and headed down the exit shaft.

Alpha took one last inspection of the cannon as the battle ended "Too bad the cannon is too big to take with us and can't be used on the airship. He got up slightly disappointed "I guess we can rest up now"

Hebal looked at the remains of Kyato in disgust "A fitting end for a fallen samurai" she muttered and patted Mari on the head "It must feel pretty good being able to finish him off" she told her then turned her head towards Satoshi "Can't you just teleport us out of here?"

Zadina appeared beside them and sighed "Why can't any of you recognise true genius when you see it!" he muttered before teleporting them all back outside the airship. "Honestly surely you fools could have simply asked me!" he said sulkily holding a mini cannon "I also brought the cannon for you" he said examining it "It's been mini'd but I can adjust it's size so it can fit the ship" he said putting it in his pocket.

Itaka looked up at the ship "Looks like we're more or less done here" he said yawning "Which is good cause I need some sleep" he said stretching.

Oassu hugged Felina "You were great back there!" he said cheerily.

Mari nodded as she wiped some of the blood of off Kyato's head. "I have one more errand to run but yes it is good to finally have finished this" she said turning to Zadina "Oh Zadina could you please take me to my village briefly we'll only be 15 minutes then we can come back and hang around with our friends" she said chirpily leaning over to talk to him

Zadina smirked "Whatever it takes to get away from them" he said snapping his fingers causing Mari and Zadina to disappear.

Hayate shrugged "The nicer Zadina will return eventually. If not we can make him come back with a good bash on the head" he told Hebal before rushing off to the bathroom.

Felina blushed a little and returned the hug "I... didn't do anything particulaly special. You on the other hand did far better than me. Even Cid had his big moment" she answered modestly. She followed the others into the airship and took a seat on the opposite end of the sofa to Seph. She then took Cid out of her bag and placed him on her knee.

Satoshi looked up at the airship. She clapped her hands together once more and teleported inside. As soon as she was inside she sat down "I need a good rest now" she panted

Seph smirked "Or maybe we just don't use the toilet as much as we should" she jumped a little at the sight of Kimino "Long time no see Kimino. Pass me a beer to while your on your feet" she added to Itaka.

Alpha emerged from his room carrying a small electronic device. He waved at the sight of Kimino "We are waiting. A couple of our companions are clearing the last few things up then we can fly over night to our destination without any detours" he eplained.

Hebal's ears shot up as Kimino appeared in front of her. She took a step back to where Itaka was "Umm... Who is that guy? Aother one of your friends" she asked him in a whisper.
