charlotte frowned as well,it seems Jake or Drake's mood was contagious. She let her feet work on their own,doing as the pleased as long as they moved they seemed fine.
Perhaps... she sighed,it would take more then a friendly look to get past his 'meal' shell. Maybe it was the reason for his armour.
If it had been up to her she would have gone up to him then and there and ask what his problem was and to stop acting so childish,if he just actually tried to have fun instead of mopping he may find he would enjoy it.

Loki raised a brow then grinned at Dante. He thanked the waitress then stood to walk over to her. "Ah, hello again, my dear. I saw you dancing before. Enjoying yourself?"

Leilani laughed, trying not to blush any more. "He's just a new friend, that's all. Though, it means a lot since I barely get to meet people." She then tilted her head. "A girl? What's she like? Oh, and your outfit is so pretty! Wish I could have worn something like that rather than these clothes..."

Diviana tilted her head at the guy. "Aw...you shouldn't be drunk though. Makes it a bit harder to dance." She laughed lightly, her small wings fluttering. "How about we start with names, hm? I'm Diviana."

Ray continued dancing, biting at her bottom lip. She desparately wanted him to enjoy himself for once. "Maybe if we get him dancing..."

Erordia nodded lightly. "I am. I'd love to see some of it some day."

Dante saw Loki comming and smilled. Perhaps this party wasn't going to be so boring.
"I guess, but this kind of party isn't my thing. i would much rather be having a good time in the city. but how about you? I saw you and that girl talking before. any luck?"
Dante gave a shrug in Charlotte's direction.

Madison blushed as well.
Thank you she smiled happily,the compliment though a little extravagant was still nice all the same.
You know however that you look 2 times better then me tonight right?
She giggled and spun a little,the edges of the dress whipping out so for a moment shee looked more like a church bell.
Seem familiar in any way? It's the one you suggested,I couldn't think of anything else except adding on to this,and there's no better the then an original is there?
She cupped her hand over his,feeling the warmth and holding it there for a second.
It must be great having a lrage family around you hmm? You must have to be one of the greatest Da Gei for miles around,if not the best in the top three at least.
She held up three fingers,her bracelets slipping down her arm and jingling with the charms on them and against each other.

Charlotte looked with.
Maybe,how lucky do you think we are today?
She laughed,swirling them further away from Drake,if the saying 'out of sight out of mind' was true they could at least maybe have a minute or two of good honest fun.

((I'm just going with the assumption you went with silvery jewellery as well like I suggested?))

The wolf shook his head slightly and made sure to keep his body away from the jewellery. He'd been a bit nervous from the hug but the layers of clothes kept him safe from them for the moment.

"It is rather nice having a large family... just troublesome when you go to put down all those pups at night." He let out a small laugh, "The bedtime stories alone tire you out, I nearly didn't get out of there. I'm rather glad Pandora took over for me."

He chuckled and twined their fingers a moment before trying to sneakily lead her farther onto the dance floor.

The wolf chuckled and pulled her in closer for a moment, winking conspiratorially before setting a soft hand on her hip and moving with her to the beat. His tail thumped behind him and he began to dance, not caring if his wings nearly fell off in the process. It wasn't often he got to dance so he wanted to take advantage of Madison's company.

"Trust me, when you have to do it every single night and then get cries that you have to keep going and tell more you get tired. Then again it depends on the story teller, I tend to get into the tales and that might be it..."
