Ryou trembled violently, but refused to cry. He blinked away the tears that threatened his eyes, and fixed Kira with a calm look. Calm down... had she told him to calm down? Ryou felt as though he was wrapped up in plastic. There were no sounds. He couldn't speak. His head throbbed from the pain, and his sense of touch seemed to be better. His bottom lip quivered slightly as he leaned into Kira's touch, exhaling softly, still fighting with his emotions inside.

Kira then sat on the couch beside him.She gently pulled him into a hug letting him relax.Rei came back setting the stuff on the coffee table "thank you hunny" she told rei.Rei sat down poking her teddy once more.

Ryou picked up the crayon and tapped against the paper for a moment, then wrote down with a shaky hand, 'What's going on? I can't hear or speak. I think something's blocking my mind from making a link. Is it Vadin?'

Kira nodded then wrote with another crayon.rei had brought a handful 'yes it was him.You'll be staying here.' she wrote to him.Rei took the bear head and body and held it up to ryou almost thinking he would fix it.Kira sighed softly "Oh hold on baby i'll fix it..." she told rei.

Ryou chewed on his knuckle, looking down at the girl, then back at the paper. He wasn't sure what she wanted... But she was holding the bear that he had found earlier, except its head was off. He smiled bitterly. Probably Vadin again... He picked up the crayon. 'What if...' He paused in his writing, as though considering whether or not to write it down. '...he decides to take away my sight next? Touch? Taste? Makes it so that he can use all of those, but leaves me to suffer? I couldn't handle it. Can I have a knife, please?' He added this last part after a moment of thought.

'no you cant have a knife.if vadin did that he knows bad things might happen harming your body has his host for the moment' she searched the side table for needle and thread.finding some she took the bear and started stitching it toghther. rei looked up to ryou ''...be my daddy pwease!!" kiras eyes went wide and she started coughing in shock.

'Please.' Ryou underlined the word from when he had asked, then glanced at Kira meaningfully. He couldn't hear, and hadn't been looking at the child, so he didn't catch her asking the question. 'I need to feel, Kira. Just let me feel. Please' He scratched at his wrist with a fingernail.

Kira looked '..there are other ways to feel..you dont need to hurt yourself..' she wrote then leaned over gently kissing him on the cheek.She often ate vanilla candy so her breath smelled of vanilla.

Ryou bit his bottom lip, tried to write something, but the crayon snapped under the pressure he had been grasping it. He burst into silent tears, his breath getting choked and his whole form shaking. He seemed to flinch, moving away from Kira just a little bit, then shakily picked up half of the crayon and managed to scrawl, 'You've gotten older. I'm still a child. Everybody calls me that. You are a mother now. It doesn't feel right to me.'

Kira sighed sadly 'ryou...your not a child..your just as old as I am.Your body just dosent look it.' she was silent.Rei tugged and ryous sleave intill he was looking ather "pppwwweeaasssee be my daddy??" kira snaped her head to look and rei "baby stop saying that..." she was afraid that might upset ryou.

Ryou knew that this girl wouldn't be able to understand anything he wrote. To make it simple, he shook his head sadly, biting his bottom lip. He glanced at what Kira wrote, then grabbed another crayon. 'I don't want to...' Whatever he was going to put next was cut off abruptly as he reeled backwards again, eyes full of pain, clutching his temples again. He gasped sharply and shut his eyes.

Kira was worried "ryou whatswrong?" she said forgetting he couldent hear her she said making a connection with him.
