Jakob was surprised how helpful the man was being. It was rather sweet in comparison to some of his previous treatment towards him. Jakob smirked as he teased him, amused as he rolled his eyes. He soon sat up pulled his shirt on once more while Abel gathered his things to take back to the bathroom. Before leaving, teased him once more. Jakob feigned offense and playful swatted the man’s leg as he walked past. ”Hmm yes, because you’re exactly what I picture when I think Prince Charming.” he continued. Moving slowly, Jakob made his way up to the head of the bed and took a pillow for himself. ”So where’s my kiss, Prince?” Jakob was patient while Abel cleaned up and put things away. He was just glad to not be forced down the stairs again. Thanks to the man’s help, it wasn’t hurting as much anymore. He assumed whatever had been bothering the wound was washed away. Now he just needed to lie still and not cause any more damage to himself.

Passing by Miguel, he felt him swat his legs. Abel laughed softly as Miguel teased him about not being his prince charming. Indeed he was no one's prince. He finished in the bathroom, hearing Miguel speak again. Abel returned to his room to see Miguel sitting at the head of the bed. "And what do I get from my kiss, Princess?" He teased as he came closer to the bed.

He smiled to himself when Abel laughed. It wasn’t a sound he was exactly used to. When he wasn’t being cruel, it was actually quite nice. They continued to talk while Abel washed up. Jakob made himself as comfortable as possible at the head of the bed. He had only just settled when the man came out of the bathroom. He watched him come closer to the bed and listened as he teased. Jakob thought a moment before answering. ” I could let you go back to sleep.” he suggested with a small shrug. ”Unless there is something more specific that you are wanting.” Jakob had no idea what the man might want for a kiss. He knew letting Abel decide involved some risk, but it was better than suggesting something he would absolutely hate.

Sleep was the farthest thing from his mind right now. His head still throbbed but sleep wasn't needed. Abel shook his head as he moved to sit on the bed. "I can hardly go back to sleep now…Not after someone woke me up…" He commented as he watched Miguel. Abel wanted many things for a kiss but he didn't want to push it.

Sleep was merely a suggestion, one he did not know if the man wanted or needed. Given the fact that he was the couch all night, he had no idea when Abel had gone to sleep. For all he knew it could have been an hour or so before Jakob woke up. He watched the man shake his head while he moved to sit. He smirked as Abel politely declined the offer. "You're not going to let this go anytime soon are you?" he teased. Making himself a little more comfortable, Jakob turned towards him, still he had not been given an answer. "So what is it then? C'mon tell me." he said, giving him an encouraging smile. His curiosity was peaked and he wanted to know what it might cost him for a simple kiss.

Teasing Miguel, he shrugged as he spoke. Abel wasn't truly bothered by being woken up. If he had been annoyed by it, he wouldn't have helped Miguel. He shrugged as Miguel questioned him. Right now, Miguel wasn't in a state to give him anything right now. Abel moved closer toward Miguel as he leaned toward him. "How about a kiss now and a rain check for later?" He teased Miguel as he waited.

Jakob hardly cared if Abel wanted to complain about his waking him. It wasn't as though he had done it on purpose, it was just something that couldn't be helped. A kiss was the least he could do to make up for it. Though he wondered what else he would want from him. Jakob leaned back against the pillow as Abel moved closer. He smiled as Abel offered an exchange. It was true, he was in no state to do little more than lie here. "Hmm....I don't know...okay deal." he teased back. Leaning forward a little, Jakob pressed a kiss to the males lips. He didn't know what he had just agreed to and he didn't really care. He was sure it was something within his power. He couldn't imagine Abel asking him of some impossible task. Then again there no telling. That was a problem for future Jakob to worry about. For now he was content to just tease and kiss him like this.

Abel was awake now, there was nothing to worry about. He too was enjoying himself by teasing Miguel. Abel knew Miguel was in no state to do more than simply relax. He hadn't agreed to much by offering up a rain check. Abel though would get what he wanted later. He watched Miguel, teasing him. Abel waited to see if Miguel would oblige. He wasn't offended if he didn't. Abel though soon watched as Miguel leaned closer. He kissed Miguel in return, sealing their deal.

Indeed a rain check was needed. Jakob was in no position to try and do little more than rest at the moment. He hated the idea of leaving his all of his earthly possessions all the way on the other side of the city, but, he was going to have to hope that no one breaks in to his room and that the maids oblige to his do not disturb sign. In his current state he could barely make it to the bathroom let alone the train station. Abel could tease all he liked, but he was right. As the man teased him once more he agreed to his trade. He leaned forward to take his kiss and felt it almost immediately returned to him. He gave him one more kiss before pulling back. ”So do I get to know what I just agreed to?” he asked curiously.

Kissing Miguel, he returned the kiss. Abel felt him pull away shortly after. He listened as Miguel questioned him. Abel smirked, shaking his head. "No, you don't…But don't worry I'll collect on it later." He teased as he pulled back. Abel stood moving to stretch. He was in need of food as he didn't eat the night before. His stomach was starting to growl. Abel didn't think the pizza had been put in the fridge so it was likely cold sitting on the counter.

After giving the man a kiss he pulled back to question him. He didn’t think that Abel would make things so easy, but he saw no harm in asking. Jakob watched him smirk and shake his head, then confirming his suspicion. He rolled his eyes as the man rose from the bed. ” I just know you will.” he said, smirking back at him. Jakob settled back against the pillow. He wasn’t particularly looking forward to being bedridden, but what could he do. He needed the rest…and food. He didn’t know how he would eat. Abel probably didn’t want to take care of him for however long it took to heal. But he couldn’t just let him starve up here either. Watching the man, he heard his stomach growl. It was true that last night’s dinner remained in the kitchen, his own leftovers on the coffee table. He didn’t know what else there might be to eat, but he was sure the man could think of something.

Abel didn't cook, much less boil water. He wasn't in the kitchen much and never had to feed himself as a child. His mother or sister usually took care of his needs for food as a child. Abel's mother never let him in the kitchen. When he was hungry, she'd make him food.

It was the opposite with Kirean. Who usually fended for himself. So he had been used to feeding Abel. Although now, Abel was alone and fast food or takeout had become his new best friend. It was a surprise he hasn't gained weight since Kirean left. However he continued working out and tried not to eat too much junk food.

Grabbing his phone, he took a seat back on the bed. Abel had to guess Miguel was hungry too. He pulled up the UberEats app on his phone. Abel scrolled through a few restaurants looking for a breakfast selection. He didn't mind breakfast as there were usually a few different options. However he didn't know too much about Miguel's eating habits as they never really had meals together.

In the months he had known Abel, he never knew him to cook for himself save a cup of coffee. Though he hardly counted that as cooking. From what Kieran had told him, the man either relied on others to cook for him, ate out, or got delivery. Jakob had also witnessed as much. He couldn’t say that he himself was much better. Often times Jakob would get takeout, though he missed the times Kieran would take him out. It was no use lingering on such thoughts, he wasn’t coming back anytime soon.

Jakob watched the male take a seat on the bed with his phone in hand. From his viewpoint he could see he was using an app, but didn’t know which one. He leaned forward a little, glancing over his shoulder and noted it was UberEats. ”Looking for anything in particular?” he asked curiously. Like Abel, he wasn’t familiar with the male’s eating habits. He didn’t even know his favorite foods or restaurants might be.

Sitting in the bed, looking through the app, Abel felt the bed shift. He glanced toward Miguel as he questioned him. Abel shifted in the bed to sit beside Miguel against the headboard. He turned to show the phone to him more. "Well I don't cook… So breakfast…" Abel responded as he scrolled through a few options. He finally landed on Egg Harbor Cafe, which wasn't too far from where he lived.

Leaning forward, Jakob couldn’t help being nosy. He didn’t think Abel would allow him to starve in his bed. But he also didn’t know if they were back on friendly enough terms that he was willing to buy him food. Jakob smiled innocently as the man glanced back at him. He watched Abel shift on the bed to sit beside him and turned the phone his way. He glanced at the device while Abel spoke. He nodded a little while Abel continued to scroll down before settling on a restaurant. ” I’m curious, when you say you don’t cook, does that mean you never learner or just don’t like to?” he asked. Jakob watched the male go through the menu. He had never been there so he didn’t really know what to get. He was tempted to just get whatever Abel ordered.
