Nopenname I'd just like to say I also find it riotously funny that the GPG "helpful list of terms" in the rules has "Asshat" listed. THAT IS GREAT! xd Especially since I feel almost entirely responsible for the necessity of such clarification, as I use the term "asshat" with wreckless abandon. It's not news, it's Fark.com! xd

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I'm probably not going to be on here much for the next 40 days...actually 39 now. I'm limiting online time to an hour per day for Lent. Sounds like alot, but I spend most of that hour e-mailing friends and family, some of whom that's the only way I keep in touch with them. I've never observed Lent before (Most of my denomination doesn't observe it.) so this is a challenge for me, especially since I like being on the computer so much. Let's see if I can stick to it!

I think that's part of the point. You're supposed to give up something that you enjoy. I'm not talking anything drastic. Just something you're used to being able to do as often as you want to.

Good luck Ritz! Dh is Catholic, but he got started on his Lent a bit early and hasn't had a cigarette in a month! Still on the patch and they usually advise not giving up something drastic like that, lol, but hopefully we'll see you soon!
