Maddy sent out her Fletchinder and Charmander to face her deadly tree foe. The tree lashed out with one of it's leafy fists, trying to crush Maddy and her Pokemon into the ground with a downward punch. The three of them quickly jumped out of the way, with Maddy putting a bit more distance between herself and the creature while she let her Pokemon do the fighting.
"Charmander! Use Fire Fang!"
The little orange lizard nodded, running and chomping down hard on the tree's arm, a flames erupting from his maw as he did so. The guardian swung it's arm wildly, Charmander attached to it for dear life, trying to loosen the lizard as flame began to slowly spread up it's arm. A few of the glass leaves caught on fire and burned away about as fast as normal leaves would.
Maddy turned to her other Pokemon next. "Charge up a Razor Wind attack for me, Fletch!"
The little bird climbed a bit higher in the sky to stay out of the tree's reach and started flapping her little wings, slowly generating a strong wind. The attack would take a few moments to prepare though.
The tree grabbed at Charmander, prying the small Pokemon off it's arm and beginning to crush it between it's long, spindly, branch fingers. Charmander let out a cry of pain.
"Charmander! Ready a Flame Charge!"
Flames began to surround Charmander's body, burning the tree guardian's hand and forcing it to let go of the pokemon. Charmander landed on both of his feet and immediately charged at the tree, jumping and tackling it right in the middle of it's 'chest', his body covered in flame. A few patches of leaves caught and started to burn away. The tree lost it's footing and toppled over.
Maddy looked up at Fletchinder. The attack was ready. "Aim for it's legs, Fletch!"
Fletchinder released the attack, sending sharp blades of wind straight for the tree's legs. The attack hacked off the tree's wooden legs with ease, making it impossible for the creature to get up and walk again. The creature let out a cry and flailed madly with it's arms, trying to catch Fletchinder in it's grasp. The little bird was flying too high for it, though. It suddenly shot a few vines up at the Pokemon, grabbing a hold of Fletchinder's wings and legs and pulling it to the hard ground. The bird Pokemon cried out in pain as it was slammed into the dirt.
"Charmander! Flamethrower!"
Fire erupted from Charmander's mouth, engulfing the tree. The rest of it's leaves burned away to nothing and the tree itself was now on fire. Vines shot out in all directions. It seemed to be in a panic.
Maddy look to her Fletchinder, who had pulled free of the vines and was taking off into the air once more to continue the fight.
"Use Flamethrower, Fletch!"
Fletchinder joined it's own stream of fire to Charmander's, strengthening their attack. After a few minutes, the tree stopped moving and parts of it's body began to fall away as they turned to ash.
Maddy smiled. "I think we won this one." She said, recalling both of her Pokemon.
She waited for the other two to finish up their battles, unsure of what to do next about their egg hunt.

Upon defeat, each Guardian spat out an egg, sending the little object flying into the air and plummeting to the ground.
"Oh no!"
Maddy started running backwards, arms held out as she attempted to judge where her egg was falling. After a few rather tense seconds, she found herself diving to the ground to catch the egg. She held it close to her chest as she got back to her feet.
She noticed the egg was quite large, kinda like a Pokemon egg. It had the same colors and spots as well, except the spots were yellow and the egg itself was green. The opposite color scheme of a typical Pokemon egg. Glancing over at the other eggs that were falling, they looked to be the exact same as hers.
Maddy waited for the others to safely catch their eggs, pondering why Zombie Jesus had them searching for Pokemon Eggs.

Michael watched as the egg was sent flying and he raced to catch it, but it was not him who technically caught it. Changeling went under the egg and launched a light water gun to slowly lower the egg to Michael. When he grabbed it he congradulated his Vaporeon and headed to where Maddy was.

*I walk in the hotel and see a bunch of colored eggs*
Me: Looks like some fun happened.

Returning to the Hotel, Rose was carrying her rather newly hatched Shiny Azuril, which she had been out training with, when she spotted Maddy and walked over "Good afternoon, boss lady." she smiled

Maddy smiled back at the both Rose and Michael as they approached her.
"I'm doing good." She said in response to Michael's question. "After the stress of last week, I figured today we can stop by Route 12. I hear there's a large ranch there."
She reached to her belt and plucked a Poke Ball off of it, releasing her Alakazam.
"How does that sound to you guys?"

"Well, a ranch sound fun" Rose agreed "It would let little Azuril here see more of the world since she's not been far from this town yet" she gently snuggled the baby Pokemon.

"Well, let's get going then." Maddy said, looking to her Alakazam. "Tiresias, let's see if you can successfully teleport us to Shalour today."
Tiresias nodded and closed his eyes concentrating. It took him a few minutes before he attempted the teleportation.
There was a flash of white light and they all appeared by the Shalour City Pokemon Center, completely unharmed.
"Nice. You actually made it past Reflection Cave. Good job." Maddy said. She then returned her Pokemon and turned to the others.
"To Route 12!" She exclaimed, walking off towards the eastern exit out of Shalour City.
