Looks like a spider is trying to crawl out of the mouth. Cool but that was my reaction.
Sidenote are we or we not doing the damsel in distress thing now in DD? Kinda need to know before I move Gwen again.

I feel slight miffed about Pen's and Luc's conversation.
Aly's blades are magical, they're energy blades. However it take magic to create them.
Aly supplies magical energy by simply existing, however the technology of the gloves allows her to use her magic to create energy. This causes a strain or is Aly's case dizziness because in order to change the weapon, she needs to put magical energy into it so that the gloves can collect the natural energy around it.
I figure that it would a dependable weapon, since Magical Shields appear to only effect magical workings outside the body. Seeing as if it held all magic at bay. Aly would start to rapidly age. The Crescents are a magical saturated family, it is the reason why they age so differently.
I just felt the need to point this out, since the only magic Aly is using is her shield. That is magic. Outside of that, there isn't any visible magic in use and you shouldn't really be able to see the shield unless light is reflecting off it and the paint balls.

@ Aly: Lol Dude, it's just their characters- It's how Luciano and Pen are. I mean, they're not Magic users, so they don't know a whole lot about it. lol Like, don't be so bothered about it!
@ Nari: Yes! You wished me a 'Happy Birthday', like, yesterday! And YES! The piercing was a little present for myself! I've wanted it for a while, but could never find a time to get it, so I got it on my 21st birthday!
@ Jay: Yeah, Luciano never knew too much about magic- Other than it's shiny sometimes, but since knowing Waffle he has come to know a little bit more about it.

@ Tique: Its like Styk said, its just Pen and Luc's take. I'm sorry to get you miffed but magic is really foreign to Pen. I wanted to strengthen that aspect of her character and really she can't get into any fight where she isn't fighting.

I can understand that...well, now that I've had time to think. I can understand it. I was annoyed at the whole category system and the idea that magic couldn't be effective to a degree.
Though its okay now. Since over night I realized that in they're conversation it would make sense.
