Mara stood at the edge nervously. She touched her toes to the water and pulled back glaring at her father.
Hollis sat on the grass.

Thema sat at the edge next to Mara and peered into the water. "Know how to swim??"

Mara looked at her with a leery look on his face, "No. My dad say my wings will help..." She said, fluttering her wings again.

Mara sat and slid down the edge, her feet going into the water. She slid down more and plopped in.

Thema stared at the water. She saw something move at the bottom and shivered. "P...Probably a fishy." she told herself.

Mara kicked her feet back and forth slowly, the water stirring.
Hollis looked at Thema, "The water's great, me and Nick came here all the time. It's just like a pool" She said, remembering the first time they were there.

Mara moved her arms in stroke, almost naturally. She swam forward, then turned around a bright smile on her face.
Hollis giggled, and winked back, a smile on her face. She checked on the sleeping baby.

"very good mara now dive under water and swim around. see what all you can see." he pulled himself out of the water to lay next to her.
"still looking good baby." he whispered winking at her.

Mara held her breath and dove under, seeing bundles of seaweed and clear water.
Hollis smiled and kissed him. She let go with a smile, "Thank you baby." She said with said happily.

Ginko walked calmly through the forest. He saw a tavern in the distance so he figured he would stay for a while.

Alice was awake at the inn clening up everywhere. her wings were curled behind her.
