Far ahead of them in Oreburgh City, Jasmine and Skylar were already there lounging in the Pokemon Center. Jasmine insisted he take his "ill" Clefairy to the nurse before they go any further, but Nurse Joy was having the most difficult time finding anything wrong with his pokemon.
"Which Nurse Joy told you your Clefairy needed fresh air?" Nurse Joy asked Skylar. Skylar chuckled.
"You know... that one..." he choked. "I forget. You all look alike."
Nurse Joy frowned at Skylar, picking up Clefairy's Poke Ball from an analyzer machine and handing it back to its trainer.
"Well, fresh air never hurts, I guess." the nurse told him.
Skylar and Jasmine walked out to the front lobby of the pokemon center and up to the glass sliding doors.
"Where does your friend live, then?" Jasmine asked. To thank Skylar for rescuing her from the Legendary Brilliance Gang a few days ago, she promised she'd help him get something back that he lost.
"Over there." Skylar pointed. He poked the glass doors, pointing at the Museum.
"You mean he lives on the other side of town?" Jasmine tried to clarify. Skylar shook his head.
"No, he lives under it. He has a hidden base underneath the Museum in the Underground." Skylar told her. " 'Cept he has booby traps set up everywhere down there. It's impossible to get to if you try to walk up to it. That's why I need your help. We have to dig." he smiled. "And no one can dig better than your Steelix!"
Jasmine grunted then looked up to the sky. A shadow had casted over them, created by a very large flying pokemon blocking the sun. Skylar squinted, trying to get a better look at what was blocking the sun.


A few blocks away from the Pokemon Center, near the entrance of the Mine, Ike and Lugia landed in Oreburgh City. Ike hopped off and patted Lugia a thank you. He waited for Cody to arrive.

Ike got Sammy's message and replied to her.

Oreburgh City, come catch up with us. We just got here.

Cody landed right behind Ike. "Hey. Who ya texting?" he joked, not really caring. It was his own business.

Ike wiped the dust off his TADS screen and put it back in his pocket. Wind was kicking up dirt where they were standing. Ike called Lugia back and blocked his eyes with a hand, trying to keep the dust out when the wind picked up.
"Sammy. She'll be here." Ike told Cody. "And there she is." he grinned as the 3rd team mate approached. "Hey there." he greeted Sammy.

"Hey Mr. Ike and lil' bro~" she chimed, looking between the two. She playfully slapped Cody when she messed with her hair. "I'm still for the 'return the diamond to the wild' plan... ^^"

Ike observed where they were standing, and noticed a lot of fighting types around them.
"Guess we have time to kill. Not really in a rush. Lets go battle 2 fighting types each then move on to the museum." he told the two. He then went off to go do some training.

"Cool, can we catch one if we want?" he asked and ran off to fight some pokemon.

He was quickly approached by a shiny Tyrogue. "Peaches, let's go!" Cody said and sent out the tiny Pichu. "Thunderbolt!" The little pokemon waited for the Tyrogue to get close and launched off a giant bolt of electricity, severly shocking the tiny fighter. Tyrogue came back with Reversal, dealing severe damage and KOing Pichu in one hit. "I'm sorry buddy," Cody said and returned the tiny pokemon. Next came Chimchar. The tiny flame monkey jumped into air and lit itself on fire, rolling fast at its foe, almost KOing Tyrogue. Another Reversal came at Chimchar, but he managed to dodge. A pokeball went flying at the small fighting type and hit the ground. It rolled once. Twice. Three times. *bing* Cody returned Chimchar with praise and picked up his new pokemon's pokeball.

A Hitmonlee came up to Cody, looking quite angry for some reason. He sent out Feraligatr, hoping to finish this quickly. The fighting type attacked with Hi Jump Kick but with a quick Protect, Feraligatr was able to deflect the attack. Hitmonlee focused its sights on Feraligatr, raising its possibility for a Critical Hit. The Water Type attacked quickly with an Aqua Tail, nailing Hitmonlee hard and almost knocking it out of focus. Anoth Hi Jump Kick landed with precision, knocking Feraligatr to the ground. He quickly got up and used Eartquake, KOing Hitmonlee and returned to his trainer.

Coming up to a Primeape, Ike called out Gengar. It was pointless to ask for a challenge of the pokemon, as it was already steamed with fury.
"Alright Gengar, start with Confuse Ray." Ike said. Gegnar smiled wider at the Primeape, sending waves of confusion at the pokemon. Primeape was struck, and forgot where it was. This only made the pig-ape pokemon more angry as it started to thrash around where it was standing. It then rushed toward Gengar and used Assurance. Gengar was struck with damage, and was annoying by his foe's temper.
"Alright Gengar, use Shadow Ball!" Ike called out. Gengar floated up in the air and charged up a sphere of shadows, then blasted it at the Primeape. Primeape was struck and rolled backwards, ending up rolling into a front-end loader. To jumped back up to its feet and began thrashing itself in confusion, hurting itself.
"Hypnosis, Gengar!" Ike said. Gengar put his hands together and began to make Primeape feel sleepy. The pokemon's eyes began to grow heavy as it fell face forward, falling asleep. It snored loudly.
"Now hit it with Dream Eater!" Ike told Gengar. Gengar created a red glow around the Primeape, and started to devour its dreams. Gengar was healed a little bit in the process, but the Primeape was knocked out.
"Nice battle." Ike complimented Gengar. Gengar didn't really accept it and rolled his eyes.
Ike was about to battle a Hitmonlee off in the distance, but something else caught his eye and he recalled Gengar.
