Sammy was taken aback by his words. "Oh, no, Jack... Don't go there. Remember our agreement?" she asked, reffering to when she said that if he died, she would die. That still stood. "You can't die, Jack! You're important to us! We love you!"

"Jack, wait!" She cried, following him up to the beach. "D-Don't do this!" She was now crying a lot; she didn't want to loose him. "Big brother, don't do it!" she whimpered like a young child.

Sammy looked down at the ground, feeling the hot tears roll down her cheeks. "I swear, Jack, the minute you die, I die with you. You may go to heaven and I'll probably go the other way, but I'm not living without you!"

"I've changed my mind." He told her with a smile. He paused for a moment and said, "I'm going to get something to strap to me. I'll blow all of us up. This whole island!" He told her with a psychotic laugh.

Jack didn't move but a tiny voice said something, "He's gone crazy. Only a swift...well pretty much anything will bring him back."
