((I guess everyone is out and about doing holiday stuff. It's not dead, just SLOW. Very slow. I don't think I can wait for either Magiking or PartingGift to post any long really. It's not a big deal though. Xinre is doing just fine, I think... Although I could be wrong.))

Chibi was jogging right right along with the others, wondering what was going to be in store for them once they arrived. She really couldn't hear much animal life, even from the stream. A bird here and there would tweet out something, and once she heard a fish, but it was all faint, like they were afraid to draw attention to themselves...

Joker noticed shortly after as well. "Hey, umm...it's really quiet. Maybe we should, like...not be out in the open." He immediately slowed down and began to look around.

Chibi slowed down to match Joker's pace, trying to listen to what she could. "There's not much cover right here... I think we'll be okay if we don't look like we're going to attack," she replied. "Besides, there's just us three; without knowing who we are, two guys and a little girl don't seem like a very big threat, right?"

Joker shivered as he got a whiff of Neo's thoughts. "Whoa, bro, you need to relax. I don't think anything is going to go that wrong." He looked around. "We're headed to that town over there, I thought."

Neo's head snapped to Joker. "Wait, what? How wrong?" In the meantime, he filled his head as powerfully as he possibly could with the mental image of Barney dancing the Electric Slide. Hundreds of Barneys. This was one of Steven's legs up; mundane though he might be, his brain was powerful and he caught onto patterns and emotions quickly, although sadly not supernaturally.
His eyes narrowed at Joker.
