P.S. During the second interaction between you and Mortis, I was truly asleep to let you know.)
I felt someone in my mind and I instantly turned to Fate. I raised an eyebrow and asked her, "Is there something you need to ask me? Because its a little rude to just read someones mind, especially when earlier you said you wouldn't."
I looked confused at Fate, not understanding what was going on between her and Mortis. "What was that about?" I was a little suspicious of the event, naturally.

Jack groaned loudly as he got out of bed. He felt completely exhausted... and if anything, somewhat disoriented. What happened to him the night before... it completely wiped him out. It felt like there was another person inside of him... someone besides JR.

Fate quirked a brow also as Silver addressed her. "Excuse me? I'm just sitting here..existing. Do not be so hasty as to jump to conclusions, sir."
Again, Fate became slightly cross at the question, puzzled as to if it deserved an answer. To not confuse him any further, she looked him square in the eye. "I honestly cannot tell you, myself. Mortis and I just..bonded from being in the Coven together for those couple of months. You, Silver, taught me how to open up and let someone in. I'm not extremely open, but Mister Vibrissa and I are quite good friends now." A slight twinkle was in her eye when she spoke of being friends with someone. "I was just stunned that he would think of me after all those times I was so crude to him. And yet, he was the one apologizing!" She shook her head some, and smiled at Silver, him now being the only man on her mind. "..But you need not worry about him."

I nodded slowly, not believeing her one bit. "I think I know when someone is in my mind, Fate. And since when did you call me 'sir'?" I looked straight at her when I said this. "I would like to know what you wanted from my mind. Please don't keep something from me. I thought we...trusted each other." I looked away and turned around to lean back against the couch.
I laughed at this. "Thats good to know. I guess I really shouldn't worry about that, huh? And Fate...friends aren't that hard to make, but if you are closed off to the world...that hinders people a little. I'm glad that you're finally able to open up a little." I smiled at her.

Fate gaped slightly. "Apparently not! Silver, I've done nothing of the sort. And furthermore.." Her eyes bugged. Was there any USE in explaining to the back of a head? "Well, we should be able to. I was NOT in your mind. I don't know how I can make you believe me.."
Fate blushed slightly. "Nien..you should not." She rubbed her arm and whispered somewhat saddened. "..I know I'm secluded..It kept me safe..from everything.."
When he smiled, she couldn't see it. However, there was an apparent hint of cheer in his voice. This time she spoke up, trying to return it. "Thank you, I suppose."
((Seriously..I never intended to read his mind! O.O))

I frowned. "See, thats what you need to stop doing. You're always so sad all of the time and most of the time, you're sad for no reason. I mean, come on! Cheer up already." I reached out for her hand while I said this and held it while I spoke. "Everyone has the right to be happy, even you, no matter what you think."

The bloody hell.. Fate's eyes twinged and swirled a violent crimson. She furiously forced back so many volatile words inside her. The scrambled emotions welled up and grew. It troubled her to breathe for many moments.
After a bit of sitting there, not allowing the words to register in her mind, Fate jumped off the bar. Slipping her hand from his, she entered her room and slammed the door.
((And God is my witness I don't need a damn explaination why.))
There, she yanked off and threw everything she was wearing from the night before. What had happened to her romantic date? The tender words? Again, more words came to mind. She thrust on a black tank top and white jeans. So incredibly taken aback by his words, she couldn't even stand thinking of how he was so quickly the beauty and the beast in that situation! Pondering all this, she tripped over her basket of laundry and twisted her ankle. "..aaaAAAHHHhhh!"

I sat there for a moment, stunned at the turn of event. I guess I...worded that wrong. Darn it... Sighing, I got up and went to her door, but I stood there. I was at a loss at what to do. The other times, I had known what to say...but not this time. I just sat down next to the door and leaned against the wall. I put my head on my knees. Tears started to leak out of my eyes and I cried a little, but I stopped after a moment. I always say or do the wrong thing. Everythings always my fault! Why am I so stupid?! I cried a little more and continued to sit there, sifting through the lost memories.

Hearing Silver come over, she sighed. He was crying, and it was her fault..But maybe he deserved to cry? When will you think before you speak? A lesson was in store, but it was not her place to give it.
Bracing her foot painfully, she just laid there for a moment. Clutching her teeth together, she sat up to examine it: Puffy, swollen, slightly purple. "Ew.." Attempting to stand, she yelped and fell over again.
All Fate wanted out of this night was to spend time with Silver. What had gone wrong? She glanced at the clock; '4:52 AM'. Fate sighed. She felt Silver's pain, but how could she console it? This was his fault..not that she would tell him so.

( confused Uh...I wasn't trying to...sorry. sad When I type here, i'm strictly in character. Anything I say will not reflect IRL. If i'm making a point...it'll be really obvious. Sorry again if I said something wrong.)
I had stopped crying and sat in silence for a few minutes. My head not thinking of anything except the occasional sadness. I need to think things through...I wish we could do that...together. I got up and walked to the front door. My hand was on the doorknob, when I paused. I looked back at Fate's door. I then said, so she could hear, "Fate, would you...would you like to go for...a walk?" I stoob there, hoping for some response.

Fate heard Silver preparing to leave. She growled softly. Tough it out. You've been through worse. Nani, like living?
Fate hopped onto the good foot using her bed as support. She then hobbled surprisingly well to the door. Peering out, she smiled weakly, not yet exposing her disability. "I would if I could.."
