Gin sat there and looked around for some sort of chakra path in his supply of chakra. It wasn't neccessarily easy but he eventually found it with some effort. All the work he did up until now had finally pulled off. He was perfectly fine and ready to look for more when a situation arised. He wasn't focused before and now he really had to go to the rest room. "God damn!" Gin barked as he looked around at the surroundings and rushed off to go bathroom.

He released himself of all his worries in the stall before washing his hands and heading back into the room. He had found a chakra path but with all the problems that arose he would have to find it again. This royally sucked, sure he knew the general area of it but he still had to start the whole process again. His body kicked up and was no longer focused after all that had just happened. So he was forced to start from the beginning but this time a little rushed.

He sat down and tensed all his body parts again and prepared to continue. By this point he was annoyed and agitated so it wasn't simple like the last time around. So he was forced to do some breathing even to return to a normal breathing pattern. In through his nose and out through his mouth, meditiation felt like a long process but in comparison to what it rewarded it was nothing. But when you're really focusing on your body it seems like a long time passes but really it's only 10 or so minutes.

He licked the outside of his lips and leaned back yawning, his face facing the ceiling as he did so, streching out his arms. His body was still a little tired so he wouldn't have to waste to much time on that process and he was essentially back to a normal persons relaxation. As it was when he was only first starting this training session in the first place.

Breath in through the nose, breath out through the mouth. Do that five times then close your eyes when you are finishing. Relax and pay attention to your body as you sit there, trying to clear your mind and to focus on all the 5 senses one by one. This really sucked, after all that effort he went into doing all those things, he was back to square one. Atleast by now he had his eyes closed and was doing good on his breathing.

He made a handsign and felt the chakra build up, he wasn't much into ninjutsu but he knew the academy ninjutsu and also had a genjutsu. He had great chakra control if he could say so himself, and his intelligence was pretty decent, better than average. He yawned but ignored it as he didn't want to have to start all over. He wanted to find the path of chakra and move on quite frankly.

He decided he would test his chakra flow by trying to focus his chakra into his hands and then into his legs. Of course it wasn't anything substantial like walking on water or walking up a tree but it was good enough to test the waters of his flow. Though that wasn't good enough, he had to be able to find new chakra to tap into. Apparently there was tons of chakra that he wasn't using, almost to much at the rate it took to use more of it the way he saw it.

He noticed some thoughts coming through his head and he focused on them but didn't analyze them yet again. He just let the go, they weren't important right now but he didn't ignore them completely, if anything that would just make them more annoying. It's like when people get a headache when listening to a radio more when it's that incessant annoying little sound at volume 2 or 3 than when it's at a solid 15.

After his mind was clear he decided to focus on the topic again, he had to find the chakra flow in his body. He was completely focused as he had previously released his mind of all things that were distracting but now it was a matter of finding the chakra path in his body and being able to use it. Step one would be to find it and if he had that it would be good enough for him right about now.

He bit on his lip and it bled a little but he didn't notice it, he was so focused on the task at hand that the minor pain was nothing at all, although it was only a knick so it wouldn't have hurt him all that much in the first place. He concentrated on the location that he remembered it was at in his body, trying to focus on his inner workings. Finding it would be the easy part but having it work for him would be more difficult.

He felt stressed up in his eyelids, he was tenng to much so he loosened it up. He had to be completely focused if he ever hoped to locate latent chakra supplies that he never knew about till now. Taking a regained his composure and finally found the chakra path that he had lost when he went to the bathroom. He knew it was te same one, it was just a feeling but he knew that there were more in there ready to be achieved but for now he was focusing on this one.

Gin rubbed the side of his head as he focused on the chakra flow, in meditative state. He was attempting to use it but it was like doing a new thing, he had to learn how to do it and connect to his already knowledge he had with his current chakra.

He would have to be able to use it like walking. He focused heavily to mix that chakra path to flow along with his already established chakra paths. He closed his eyes and attempted to tap into the chakra path that he had found, it was a different feel and of course he was unsucessful.

He sighed as he slammed his hands together, palm to palm like he was praying. He was getting serious with something that would be unfirmiliar with him. He thought of his goal and then thought again of his task. He needed to increase his chakra supply, so he could use it.

He then went back to focusing on the chakra that he had discovered and realized it aws only part of a longer path of chakra. He made a fist out of his right hand and put it against his left hand. He yawned and continued to focus, trying to use the chakra like always but unable to do it still.

Gin rubbes his neck and sighed as he looked around the room. Training was always annoying and uncomfortable. Training involved pushing your limits, not just casually doing something. Everything worth doing is difficult or something, that's what they said or something wasn't it? He was getting stronger but the process was long and straineous.

He forged his chakra and controlled it to go to his hands. Then he made it go to his feet, but he realized something was off. He didn't feel his new chakra going with it, he didn't have mastery over that and so he was kinda peeved. He made a handsign and closed his eyes.

Controlling new chakra was like learning how to play a guitar when you only now how to play drums. It took a little effort but his chakra started to actually work and it flowed through him like never before. More chakra than before, it was quite strong. It flowed through him and he felt accomplished, but it wasn't quite comfortable, it wasn't under his complete control.

Gin looked at his hand, then he looked at his other hand. The chakra following his eyesight, not because he looked at it but he focused the chakra there. He then focused it all into his left leg, then he looked at his right leg and focused it all there. Each time all his chakra went there form his new chakra supply that he just got. It felt great, now he raised both his hands and sent an equal amount of chakra into both, then his feet. He had control of his new chakra path, he had more chakra.

Mizuiro was going very well with learning how to use the Kusarigama. Well he thought so anyway. He liked how skill was improving slowly, but he would soon master it after some more training. He just needed to concentrate harder.
He wasn't really sure what he needed to practice now, he has pretty much done all the moves he could think of with this weapon. Unless there was something else he was missing, but what? He had to think this over.

After some time thinking, he though about how the blade got stuck one time, and how he may be able to use that in battle. But he wasn't quite sure yet, but he decided to give it a go. Mizuiro swung it around to his side, and then launched it at a target. It wrapped around as he wanted, but the blade didn't stabb in, because it's point was in the opposite direction. This was disappointing, but a good challenge.

Mizuiro decided to have another go at doing this, he wanted to wrap it around the target, and make it attached on so he could pull it in and then use a finishing blow with the kama. Wait, that was it, it wasn't the Kama he needed to throw, but the other end.
He then began to swing it around at his side, hoping to get the right force and momentum for the chain to wrap around the target, and then he can pull it in for the kill. He unleashed the chain upon the dummy from a distance and then pulled on it so that it would retract back so that it would get caught on the dummy and wrap around it.
"Yeah! Now for the finish!" He then yanked as hard as he could to bring in the dummy, so that could be cut down with the kama. He came flying towards him, but he had far to much adrenaline pumping through him in excitement to lose his focus now. he was ready to strike as hard as he possibly could with the kama. The dummy was practically in front of him when he stepped to the side and then swung the kama down upon the neck of the kama quickly. The head came off a little too nicely, even Mizuiro was shocked by his movement. But he wasn't done yet.

The door of the academy creaked slowly as it was abruptly pushed open by a rough, calloused hand. Soft footfalls sounded against the stairs as Rokuro made his way down into the poorly lit tunnel below. He traveled deeper and deeper into the old structure, following the increasing moist and increasing tight confines of the path as it led him deeper within the earth. Apprehension crept up on him until he felt he want to shout, or scream or do anything to acknowledge his existence and voice his mounting fears. However just as he was on the cusp of embarrassing himself, he feels the cool breath of fresh hair against his face and breathes deeply in relief. Exiting the tunnel in a bit of rush, the new academy student promptly takes a seat in one of the many rows. There with a patience and silence born of long practice he would wait for his new school career to begin.

momo walked through the large double doors of the academy and started down the stairs and into the dimly lit tunnel. This place is even weirder then I thought it would be. I miss the hardwood floors of the family dojo already. Momo thought to himself as he sulked and drug his feet down the tunnel. he thought his mood was getting worse but he began to notice that the air was getting denser and the lights were getting dimmer. just when he thought he would be learning ninjutsu in a dark cave it opened up into a large classroom with rows of desks. Momo then noticed someone was already there before him. he rushed to the seat next to him as almost tripped over his hakama. "HI! My name is Momoshiro Kageki but everyone calls me Momo whats your name?" Momo asked with an enthusiastic voice that compleatly masked the events he had been through since his birth.

As he heard the shuffling sounds of another person approaching the classroom, Rokuro stiffened into a more formal posture so that he sat with his hack straight and his shoulders back. He'd be slacking off for a moment there, growing way too comfortable and lax when there wasn't anyone around to notice him in such a vulnerable state. But he had company and so it was only proper and respectful to be on his best behavior. What he saw of his fellow student almost caused a grimace to cross his face.

It wasn't that he had anything against the other guy, but rather his choice in attire. The traditional form of dress could be considered honorable but obviously wasn't crafted with combat in mind seeing as it was so restrictive. A point made eminently clear by the way the other boy was tripping over its hem. Rokuro couldn't imagine the nightmare it would be to face real or even practice combat with your clothing getting caught up in your feet every time you tried to do something strenuous. Just the thought of it was enough to make him wince.

However his parents had taught him better than to heckle or otherwise make fun of another person who was caught in bad straits. So he kept his comments to himself and simply answered the question that was phrased to him in as polite a manner as he could manage.

"Hello Kageki-san," he said with a slight bow of his head before continuing. "My name is Kaguya Rokuro. Nice to meet you."

Momo smiled a wide smile as he knew that the two would become fast friends friends, and maybe even teammates one day. Momo never had any brothers or sisters close to his own age, and due to his travels with his father he never had many interactions with children so his social graces were a bit qwirky but he was strong minded, and straight forward just the same. "So Roro, what made you decide to become a shinobi?" Momo asked in a curious way that only a person with no soul wouldn't find adorable.

A puzzle expression passed over Rokuro's face when he heard the question. What made him "decide" to be a shinobi? The other boy asked the question as if he had a choice. There was no choice, no decision, no thought. It was only proper and right for him to attend the academy. His parents would have it no other way and he couldn't see how anyone else in the village could get away with not going to school. He couldn't even fathom why someone wouldn't want to go to the academy. It was just unheard of.

So he simply sat in stunned silence for a little while, as his brain struggled to compute the question. Finally though, he reclaimed his voice and simply said. "There was no decision to make, how could there be a decision if there is no other alternative."
PostPosted: Fri Sep 02, 2011 3:16 pm

Momo was shocked, and amazed at this answer as he knew the reason he had decided to become a shinobi. he wanted to protect everything that he held dear to him. his determination to never give up and his will to protect those he cared for would become his pillar of strength. with another curious glace he asked. "Well there has to be something that pulled you here, something that makes you want to push forward. If there's no real reason for you to want to be here then why come in the first place?"

Momo realized for once that he had overstepped his boundaries but he stuck to his guns as knew even if it meant making an enemy instead of a friend he wanted to help Rokuro in the only way he knew how. "Perhaps if I shared my story you will find your reason for being here." Momo paused and cleared his throat as he began to speak once more. "Well it all started around three years ago when my father first began to train me in the way of the sword. he was a great man and he thought me many things" Momo paused as memories of his father brought pain as well as joy. "Anyway one day when we were training we were attacked by a rouge shinobi and he defended me and caused the rouge to retreat.

I asked him why we train to protect life not to kill our enemies and he said
“My son we train to defend precious life with our blade. Sometimes someone or something will rise to try to hurt what is precious to us. Then and only then shall we raise our blades to protect what we hold dear.” it wasn't until recently I found out he was seriously injured from the fight and his last words to me were "My son, do not morn my passing for I have succeeded. I protected that which was most precious to me." A tear rolled from Momo's eye and off of his cheek. "It was then I decided I would become a Shinobi worthy of my father and the name of my clan." Momo said as his chest welled up with pride at the memory of his father and the man that he was.

As the other boy began his long monologue, there were quite a few times when Rokuro began to interject but was promptly drowned out as the tale began to unfold. Although he badly wanted to clear what was obviously a misinterpretation of his words, he couldn't bring himself to rudely speak over another. So he sat and waited for the other boy to finish, with a patience born of long training. By the time the story was all told, he couldn't help but feel a little touched. It was deeply emotional story, a definite tear-jerker. He were a less disciplined child, he might even have broken down as he listened.

However, he was held to higher standards and so withheld an outpouring of emotion just as he withheld his voice. Then when it was once again his turn to speak, Rokuro tried his best to clear up the misconception.

"That was quite a touching tale, and I'm sure your father was a great man but I never said that I didn't want to be here. I simply said that there was nothing that made me come here, there was no life changing event that caused me to attend the academy. It is simply my duty, both to my family and village. It must done and thus I am here, for I will not shirk my duties and bring dishonor upon my household."

Momo Smiled at the response of Rokuro as he knew the only thing that was important to become a shinobi was desire to become a shinobi. there were other things that are important but this one trait was the most important and he could tell they both had a lot of it. "Thats a good reason Roro-chan." Momo said with a grin as he ruffled through his bag and pulled out two scrolls he had taken from his clan library. "Hey Roro-chan, since nobody is here yet what do you say we get a head start on training. I found these scrolls in my clan's library. it has a detailed list of all the hand seals." Momo again said as he handed the scroll to Rokuro.

Rokuro made a soft barely audible sigh of relief, glad to overcome the misconception that had launched the pair into a touching yet slightly uncomfortable conversation. He was exceedingly glad to be moving on, and as such moved into the next topic with gusto. He accepted the scroll that was offered to him, and bowed his head respectfully as he offered a word of thanks. He was all too eager to begin to do actual work, instead of simply waiting around for an instructor to show up. Although he had learned to weather long periods of inactivity it didn't mean that he liked those periods much. So with a steady fingers and a gentle hand, he slowly began to open the scroll...
