"You don't have to pay silly! The Dark Sakura pays for our food!"
Lei-Lei piped up informatively, but then the spring caught her eye... it was shiny. Os so very shiny! The child tugged on one of her ears absentmindedly, as she added hopefully.
"But if you REALLY want to... That shiny spring is more than enough payment!"
"Lady Aleina!"
Lei-Lei winced at the scolding, and Alice shook her head.
"Consider it one of the perks of the job. Working for the Guild Mistress means that the guild not only pays us, but covers the costs of our missions as well. Within reason anyway."
Alice turned her attention to the baker and started discussing the best breads for a sea journey, while Aleina slipped down off her shoulders and hopped over to the frosted buns with renewed spirit.

The rabbit girl quickly followed the smaller one towards the powdered treats, they all looked so good. While Alice wasn't looking, Madi had then pulled out the spring from her pocket and handed it to Lei-Lei.
"You seemed to like it a lot, you can have it." Madison then placed it in the girl's hand and smiled. She wasn't that attached to it anyways. Madison's eyes widened rather largely as she saw on the back counter something that amazed her. A wooden spoon. She had never seen one of those things before in her life.
Her eyes sparkled lightly as she continued to stare at it. She wanted to hold onto it, of course, she was smarter than that. Well, that's what she hoped anyways.

Lei-Lei suppressed a squeak of delight as she clutched her prize and flung her arms around Madison happily. Her face said it all!~ Her eyes danced with unspoken thank you's as she hugged her new friend. There was no doubt that Lei-Lei would cherish that spring always. A gift of friendship, after all, was a VERY special thing to a young bunny!
Then Aleina saw the look on Madison's face as she eyed the wooden spoon. It was much the same look that had been on her face while eying the spring...
Bouncing over to Alice, she scrambled up the taller girl and whispered something in her ear, giggling with satisfaction as Alice scrunched up her face. Aleina WAS a strange child... but she catered to her request anyway.
"Might we also purchase that wooden spoon with our order?"
"Mah mixin spoon? Well I guess... you could get a new one at the--"
"No! We'd like that one please sir!"
Lei-lei shook her head and grinned politely at the baker, who stumped, went to fetch the spoon.

Madison instantly widened her eyes and began to shake her hands back and forth madly. She didn't mean to get their attention over the spoon like that. She really didn't mean it.
"No no no! It's alright, it's your spoon!" Madison felt pretty bad from depriving the baker from the now popular mixing spoon. The baker had then froze in his spot even more confused than before, did they want the spoon or not? What was the deal.

"It's okay, we'll more than pay for it! We'll take it please sir!"
The baker looked somewhat annoyed, yet relieved at having his mind made up for him. Picking up the spoon he brought it back over to the counter. Alice purchased the spoon along with some hard tac, some sea bread and a bag full of frosted sweet buns. Handing over the gold pieces the Baker smiled (for they had paid him twice the value of a brand new spoon) and bid them farewell, as Alice steered the girls out of the shop and started looking for a deli. She wanted some cheeses and dried meats.
Aleina rummaged through the bag for the spoon and leaning down, held it out to Madison.
"Here you go!~"

Madison took the spoon smiling, she didn't expect that she was going to gain ownership of such a beautiful object. It was perfect, except for the left over globs of dough that was on the spoon. Though she frowned slightly, she didn't really even deserve this, nor did she want the girls to have spent any money on her.
"Thank you very much, but...you didn't have to get it." The chimed bell quickly followed her voice as they entered the local deli. There were many different meat and cheeses displayed everywhere, but nothing that Madi really enjoyed. A part of her hoped that they were going to visit a vegetable stand of sorts, or something. Cause a carrot was sounding delicious at that point in time.

Lei-Lei shrugged, her face alight with a jovial expression. She swung her feet to-and-fro, although she was careful not to kick Alice in the chest. Grinning down at Madison she giggled.
"It's okay! It's a pressie!"
Aleina's eyes scanned the shop as they entered. The deli really wasn't her favourite place, but Alice seemed to love the procured meats and the cheeses from these types of stores.
Alice took her place in the small line up and after a short wait, it was their turn.
"What can I get you fine ladies?"
"I'll take a wheel of cheese please, still in the rhine and I'll also take a large pouch of smoked and salted jerky... beef if you have it. And a large summer sausage."
"Of course miss, anything else or is this everything?"
"That'll be all, thank you."
"That'll be seventeen silver pieces please."
Alice counted out the coin as the shopkeep gathered the purchased items into a canvas bag and the transaction was completed. As the exited the Deli, the shopkeep called after them politely.
"Have a good day!"
"You also."
Aleina sat very still and very quietly as Alice checked through the bag's contents, pleased with her purchase, pretending not to notice the most unnatural state her charge had fallen into.
"This IS a good cheese! And this jerky pouch is stuffed to it's bursting point! A most wonderful shop, I will remember to come back if I am ever again journeying through Latent."
The small rabbit girl, fought not to fidget, the urge to blurt out her request and demand that they all go to the vegetable stand now. But she had learned with Alice, that something called 'Patience' worked better than whining and begging. In fact, such unbecoming behaviour usually resulted in Alice flat out refusing to do whatever Aleina had been begging for to begin with.
Alice closed up the bag and pushed a stray strand of hair out of her face.
"Now... I think that's everything, shall we go to the docks--"
"AAAAAAAAAAAALLLLIIIIIIIICCCCCEEEE!!"
She couldn't help herself, she blurted out the older woman's name in desperate protest, a distinct whine in her voice.
Alice chuckled softly and added,
"Am I forgetting something?"
"MMM HMMM!!"
"Really? Now what could I have forgotten? I have the breads and buns, the meats and the cheese... all that's left is passage on a sh--"
"THE VEGETABLES ALICE! OHHHH! WE CAN'T FORGET THE VEGGIES!!"
Aleina now was wide-eyed with desperation, the urgent panic in her voice, and the horror at the thought of not having a crunchy carrot or two and perhaps some sweet lettuce with their meals was unthinkible! She glanced desperately from Alice to Madison...
Alice laughed, something she didn't do often. But every once in a while, she would delight in teasing the young Lady Aleina like this.
"Ahhh how silly of me! Of course. The vegetables. Shall we away to a produce stand then?"

After a few moments of watching Aleina's reaction, Madison too also started to laugh with Alice, that was definitely way too cute for words. The older rabbit soon turned to where Aleina was and grinned even more widely.
"There's a very nice stand located on the corner of main street" Madison quickly began to skip ahead, excited that she knew some vegetable were going to be coming their way to enjoy.

It was the town square.
Typically it was a fountain, and someone was playing in it. She was about 20 something, red headed in a way that shouldn't have been natural, and just plain enjoying herself. A stereo was perched on the rim and blasted out some random dance music.
Water splashed here and there as she messed about, but ignorance is bliss, and any people that stopped and stared either shrugged it off or slapped their significant other for staring at a very well endowed figure.

A man in a black Cloak walked up to the square while playing a flute made out of some strange black metal. His song was song felt like infinite sorrow to who ever listened to it. It was truelly out of this world. This man was the Wandering Bard Leon.(AKA The world's most depressed bard)) He was about her age and short black hair and brown eyes. Under his cloak he wore a black T-shirt, and matching, Jeans, Gloves, and boots. All of his clothing seemed normal, but not all of them were.

Chronicles of the Crawleymang as told by various witnesses. "S-District"9:45 pm The sound of bullying laugher and roaring fire echoed through the area right outside a notable gym for training in the fighting arts. At least those of the hand-to-hand variety. Some time after Sakagami Reiko came through and influenced the way we.. or us non-enhanced humans, thought about combat the "S-District", unofficially renamed in His honor, turned into a battle ground pitting us against the magic users for control of the area. We've held most of the control of the territory for quite some time after he left. But as the months, and years went by without Him, our grip began to weaken. They began to strike back, forcing us to our last haven here at the gym. It's almost pathetic to see that we've been beaten down by a bunch of people whose physical condition appears nothing like one that is combat ready. We sit here, watching the head instructor be mocked in humiliated. Tricked into a fight that was supposed to be hand to hand by those faeries, we all learned a little too late just what kind of cowards magic users were. Watching our instructor get tortured in such a way broke our spirits completely. We all felt too weak to help at this point. Then he showed up... Entering the gym with a a body language that displayed neither fear nor concern. He wore a hooded jacket with words and some short two three word phrases that indicated without saying so, that he was one of us. Everything halted and all focus was on him. The faeries, so over-confident from trampling on us now immediately launched an attack on him. It was then that things truly began to turn in our favor. He dispated of them one by one with single techniques. One guy literally had his hand shoved up his own a** and eletrocuted himself. There was still one of those faeries left though. Already the stranger had laid hands on him and threatened to put him away by choking. The flaming faerie thought he was clever in igniting himself in flames but the instant he did so, his neck had been broken and hanging. We were all still in disbelief. Only one man we've witnessed had this kind of... power with merely his hands. We cried out to him, "Reiko!" He turned to us and pulled the hood from over his head with a calm smile and replied.. "Not quite..."

The girl stopped mid motion, looking slightly awkward with just one foot in the water and the rest dripping from various extended limbs. Finally she stood upright and tilted her head towards the bard.
She wasn't strange looking from far off, other then the fact that she was the only contestant that seemed to have turned up for an impromptu wet t-shirt contest. Carefully she wandered over to the ledge, turned her own music off, and sat down, letting the bard have his say, as long as he came into the square. Both hands braced themselves behind her, and she crossed one leg over the other cheerfully, splashing more water.
"Hullo!"

"Hello, I was just passing on by I don't know why you feel like talking to me, but I would be glad to keep you company I have nothing better to anyways. Besides I think that guy who attacked me will be unconcious for quiet a while, so I don't have to worry about him showing up." Leon replied and then started smiling.

She blinked large purple eyes in his direction, then smiled.
"You don't need to wonder, you came close enough for a hi, it's only polite to do so..."
She looked along the fountain and splashed another foot. "I had nothing better to do, myself, just waiting for someone to get here actually!"
She wasn't strange, until Leon got close enough to see that those large eyes actually had no whites or pupil, they were just, solid, purple.
