Ryou widened his eyes again as the child nuzzled him. He bit his bottom lip and gazed around himself. He tried to speak again, but no sound left his mouth. He mumbled, just a thought to himself, forgetting that he was linked to Kira for the moment. He shakily rose to his feet, then caught Kira in a tight embrace, burying his face in her neck.

Rei now cuddled into a pillow yawning.Kira smiled and hugged ryou close her chin resting on his head "I missed you too..." she said softly holding him closer.She was so happy to hold him once more.

Ryou broke away a moment later, brushing aside his tears, smiling warmly at Kira. He trailed off, then clapped a hand over his mouth as though he had spoken aloud. He cried out, a little frantically, in his mind, once again seeming to forget that he and Kira were linked.

"Don't speak to him!" Vadin abruptly took control when Ryou's defenses were weak, and lashed out at Kira. He struck the arm that she had been rubbing his back with,, looking around the apartment with an expression of disgust. "I slipped up when I allowed you even this much time to talk. Where is the exit?"

Kira smirked "What exit?your not leaving.." she told him crossing her arms. "ryou is staying here" Rei looked up to vadin curious.

Vadin's eyes widened slightly at Kira's boldness, then he remembered that he was in the mortal realm. "Of course you think you're stronger in your own world. But that isn't so. Prehaps if you show me out of here I won't rip out your spine." His appearance didn't change at all when he took control of the body, except the eyes were a little colder. He smiled sweetly at Kira, resembling Ryou's own smile almost perfectly.

"As I said your not leaving so sit down and get comfy." kira told him.Rei stood up and tugged and vadins shirt inocently. "Rei come here" kira said and rei walked over to kira.Kira scooped up rei in her arms.She trusted ryou but she dident trust vadin with her.

"Is that Bakura's kin?" Vadin asked, his attention shifted to the child now. "Barely looks like him. I suppose he's already forgotten about the idea of having some kind of heir, though." He addressed Rei now. "Do you know that your mom wanted to kill you before you were even born? Even was willing to sell your soul to me in exchange for another person. She doesn't love you. She just wants to sacrifice you."

Rei blinked.She was only one and dident really understand a word he was saying.."Teddy!" she called out randomly reaching twards her teddy on the couch.Kira laughed "She's only one vadin she dosent understand a word your saying.I tried expalaining about the items one night...she asked if she could eat it."

"So have you grown attached to her?" Vadin asked, idly picking up the toy from the couch. He promptly ripped off the bear's stuffed head and tossed the two parts to the ground; the teddy's head and body. "No longer want to murder her or anything?"

Rei blinked confused.She rarly cried "....teddy go bye bye?" kira nodded "oddly enough yes I do like her.She turned out nothing like bakura.." she snikered for a moment rembering the last time she saw bakura.Rei had headbutted him in the balls making him keel over in pain. "And she's my kid.Oddly she likes me.."

"Hmph." Vadin snorted. "Seeing as this body does still need to heal some.... and I need rest as well... I don't think there'd be much of a safer place for Ryou to be then here. Which is the only reason why I'm doing this. Not that he'll do much. I had forgotten about him making mind links... Now you just have to make do with hand signals if you want to speak with him. I'm taking away his hearing as well as his mind speaking." With that, Vadin retreated into the back of Ryou's mind.
Ryou looked puzzled for a moment, then smiled nervously at Kira, not aware of what had happened. It had been so long since he had experienced not being in control of his body, he wasn't sure of what to make of it. He tried to speak, remembered that he was unable to do so, then attempted to make a mind link with Kira. He was met with a wall of electricity instead, and reeled backwards with a silent scream of pain, his mouth open but no sound escaping him, clutching his temples.

Kira sat rei down who went to poke at her teddy.She then went to ryou gently kneeling before him "calm down.." she said so he could see what she was saying.She rubbed his back gently thinking to herself. "...rei hunny get mommy some of your coloring paper and a crayon." rei was a very smart child and waddled off to get what her mommy asked for.
