He regarded the hand solemnly. "No. I can not. I have placed my 'weak' heart in your hands too many times. I do not think I can trust you anymore. I hope I can learn to forget my love for you and you can forget yours for me." He closed his eyes as the saddness was wrenched from him to fuel the armor. "I will never love anyone but you Miss Anthros. I will never trust anyone with that much power." Suddenly there was a voice emenating from a blurry ball of darknes that expanded when it spoke, and shrunk when quiet. It spoke in a soothing, motherly voice. "Haru, I sence Karu is in danger, please hurry." Haru nodded. "In a moment Onyx." He walked to Xiadessa and carressed her face. "Xiadessa, my lovely, beautiful Xiadessa. I am so very sorry, but it is over between us."

Xiaedessa's eyes widened, and she batted his hand away from her "Just like a terren, love and emotions are low priorities for you, if they do not go as expected you simply throw them away. You say you love me, yet you are not prepared to give me your all. If you cannot handle the complications and trials and tribulations of true love, then why did you even bother in the first place!?" Her eyes filled with rage and contempt "I see how it is, you don't need to say another word. You have some nerve to sit and say that you love me, yet throw me away without a care, as if I was expendable all along! I was wrong, you are not capable of understanding what it means to be in love! You are right, it is over between us, I love you, and I cannot simply my feelings or forget them, so I will simply give you your wish and fade from everything!" She summoned her sword, and vanished, leaving no trace of herself or where she went, with no way for him to follow her. She was in another void, between realms, but this time, her fiery passion burned from within. She was desperately in love with him, but at the same time, so angry. She just could not seem to understand, how he could be so insensitive. did he expect true love to be all fun and games? Could he not handle to fact that, by falling in love with her, he had to accept that their relationship would be far from easy? Her heart felt like it was bursting, as her rage and pain continued to build up. She closed her eyes, the thought of utter and complete nothingness filling her mind. If she could not be with Haruko, then she did not want to be at all, and she did not want anything else to be. An image appeared in her mind, and she teleported, guided by it

The mental projection of Onyx came into view. She was an exact likeness of Xiadessa. "Are you alright master?" "No. I do not think I will ever be again." He sighed and wiped the tears from his eyes. He grabbed hold of Onyx and shifted his mind back. He teleported from the shadow plane and appeared on the roof of the school.

Tachi walked out of the shadow and sat next to his sun. "What troubles you Haruko?" He asked. He hadn't been a very comforting father in the past. That was a duty he left for their mother, but with her gone... He cherished his children all the more. He noted how alike his son and wife's eyes were. Seeing the tears in those eyes sent a dagger through his heart. He wrapped the boy in a gentle hug.

"Why does this hurt so much? I have never been in this much pain before. I can not breathe. I can not think of anything else. Have you ever felt this way?"

"Shinagame's orders? In that case, we'll stay here."
"You see, we're not exactly on... good terms with the War Goddess." Izumi kept his head down, the thought from there last encounter coming back. "I kinda... hit on her, wasn't a pretty sight."
"She plowed him right in the face. Guy couldn't move for awhile after that. As for myself, i just don't agree with her methods. Powerful she is, there's no doubt, but she, like many of our kinds, rely too heavily on her powers, and not enough on her own physical abilities."
"If you wanna find Vain, check around these 'clubs'." He pulled out a paper from his pants, handing it to her. "Whenever he gets lost, bored, or whatever he has an excuse for, he likes to go to these places for the music and brawling."

Xiaeriene nodded "Thank you, I'll go find him. do me a favor and keep an eye on this guy until I get back with Vain" She let go of Nergaql, who had been trying to pull out of her grip cussing up a storm, and headed out of the gym, quickly making her way downtaown via a paper ostritch, following his signal. she soon came to a shabby, rundown looking place, and she dismounted. It didn't look like she'd be getting in easily, so she conveniently took care of the door guy with some paper and slipped in quickly. She looked around, knowing Vain was in there somewhere, when she felt something poke at her butt <******** OFF!" she turned around, clogging a large bald man with her staff. He approached her, an anger face as he rubbed it "You gonna play like that, b***h? Let's see you fight for real then, you and me, no fancy stuff! If I win I get a piece of that a**!" She looked around and knew what she had just gotten herself into "Fine, but if I win, you'll give me 10,000 yen, no excuses" She was prepared for the fight, knowing this guy wouldn't be too tough. Perhaps this would catch Vain's eye, and she could relay the message to him as planned

As the fight broke out, a swarm of beings crowded around Xiaeriene and the bald man, each one yelling and shouting, provoking both to fight, and even trying to make some cheap shots at both of them; crowd interaction was just another part of a club fight.
Vain was on the floor, he loved to be in the loudest part of the music. Hardcore metal was filling the air, making the violence level worse in the club.

Xiaeriene whirled around, knocking a good bit of the people off of her. She turned swiftly as the bald man swung at her, and extended her staff right into his face. She ran through the crown, beating people aside as she headed toward Vain, finally catching eye of him. She managed to reach him but slid and fell forward, ending up on her knees and face with her butt in the air revealing her panties

He turned when he heard her fall and smacked his forehead. "The hell you doin here?" Offering her a hand up, he kept his eyes on the crowd, in case any tried to continue. "This isn't a place I'd expect to you to be what's up?"

"Hiya, I didn't expect to have to clean out a barn just to find you. Anyway, my best friend and I are going to be doing some training with Asuka and her posse, Shinagame-sensei requests that you as well train with us. Kyros has returned in full form, only he is much, much stronger than before, the combined forces of Asuka, Shizue, myself and Koori were not even enough since he drank that vial Medium gave him" She knocked a few men away as they charged her from behind "So, are you in?"

"Well, if my old mentor requested me by name, guess I got no choice, though ironic how Asuka ended up with her. I had planned to bring her to her for training." Stretching a bit, and scratching the back of his neck, Vain let out a small yawn. "But before we head out, I need cafinage." Walking past the fallen bodies of brawlers, Vain led the way out of the club, and marched on to a near by quick stop.

Tachi regarded his son. "Yes, I have. I fell deeply in love with your mother during the many adventures we had together. I thought that if she died, I would die because of the lifelink. Little did I know that I simply could not live without her. Yet I still betrayed her, shunned her, made her think I did not care for her. No terren has ever been as cruel as I was." He paused as he remembered all those years ago. The events had happened only two years ago, at the most, but he had spent fifteen years training his children. He looked back into the eyes of his son, and smiled faintly. It had been so long since he had smiled. "She never stopped loving me. Trusting me. I can not count how often I had threatened her in those days, but she never flinched. Not once. The love of your mother saved my soul."

Hikaru appeared on the roof. "She does not love him father. She treats him like one might treat a sick dog. Mother said that respect was the foundation of a lasting love." Haru was about to respond, but stayed silent. Finaly he spoke up. "I do not know what to do. I have tried to not love her. I know she is far from perfect, and I know she does not think of me as strong. I know all of these things yet when I think of her... I melt." "Haru, I want you to promise me that you will hesitate to be with her again. I can not possibly come between you, but it is my right to ask that you think twice about it." He looked at his sister for a while. His constant companion for 16 long years. Their hearts beat at the same time. They were as close to one person as two people could be. They had never betrayed each other, and except for a few training accadents when they were younger, they had never caused each other harm. He knew he could trust her. "I have already let her go." he said sadly

Xiaeriene nodded, keeping him company as he made some last minute stops. She explained what had run down in the elemental realm while they made a stop for something to drink "I don't think I could have lasted as long as I did, if it had not been for Nergal's helpful words. I really wouldn't be so strong, without my friends to support me. Now, more than ever, I must get stronger, for their sake. Losing in battle is not an option for me"
