Lixini waved her words away. "It's nothing big. Just having some fun." She giggled lightly, putting the tools beside Ash. "When they're dry - And not a minute earlier! - you can do mine." She said brightly.

Ashriel laughed when Lixini waved her words away. Ashriel nodded, grinning. "So, Lix, did you remember the movies?" She asked. They always watched a few movies when they had one of these girl's days. "How do I know when they are dry?"
See, that wasn't so bad, was it?

"I've got a stack beside the tv downstairs." Lixini said cheerfully. "As for your nails, look at them. They should look glossy, not wet." She explained as she always did.

Ashriel nodded. Good, movies made the day. "What's the difference?" Ashriel questioned jokingly, grinning at Lixini. She was glad to have her day with Lixini without Raevyn. Just one day, once in a while, couldn't hurt anything...could it?

Lixini rolled her eyes, laughing at the question. "Look at your toes then look at your hands. They should look the same." She instructed the other girl with a smile.

Ashriel flushed, looking at Lixini. "Liixx!" She whined, blushing frantically as she looked down. She was so very, very glad at this point that she'd left him home.

Ashriel's face was beat red as her friend spoke. "We haven't done anything! I swear!" She said defensively, trying to get herself out of the embarrassing situation. Sure, she'd married him, but she hadn't done anything with him since the night she'd become his mate.

Ashriel looked confused as she looked at Lixini. "What do you mean?" She asked, not realizing how much less she'd laughed since she'd first moved out of her parents house, and since all the chaos had come up with Raevyn.
