If security is half as annoying tonight as he was last night, I'm going to kill him Joker-style by slamming his face down on a pencil. What part of "I work third shift because I really, really, really want to be left alone" does he not understand?
Last night, he asked, "Did you see the news about the plane in Jamaica?"
Me: "No, and I'm not interested in hearing what happened."
Him: "Well, I have to talk to you sometimes! This plane crashed and..."
...What the ******** is his problem? I just ******** TOLD him I didn't want to be bothered and then I said I didn't want to hear about the news, and he keeps talking to me and tells me anyway. I can't figure it out. He's not doing it to annoy me (he's too stupid for that) and he always seems so happy to talk to me no matter how many times I shoot him down. I think he's got to have some sort of mental disability; maybe he has some kind of brain damage, or the r-word - in the literal sense of IQ below 70, because he really doesn't comprehend that I don't want him talking to me no matter how many times I tell him. It's not that he doesn't understand me - English might be his second language, but he's fluent. He knows exactly what I'm saying. I don't know how to get him off my back without cussing him out and telling him to get the ******** away - if that would even work, he seems so desperate for conversation that I feel like he'd just ignore it. I'd do it in a heartbeat, but I'm a little concerned that he'd report me to management and I'd get written up if I did, which feels really unfair. If cussing's the only thing he'll listen to, I shouldn't get in trouble if I have tried every other way to get him to shut up and I use it as a last resort. :/

I always thought the Kitten Star was cute, but never lusted after it like other people do. And I was grateful that I didn't want it nearly that much. But now that the North Kitten Star has come out, I'm struck with a really bad case of the "I really really really really really really really really really really want that". >.< I mean, come on. Making gold is very hard for me. I make about 5k on a good day. And I lost all my significant investments some time ago. Obviously, I'm not going to get anywhere near the seven-digits in time for the Super Thingy to go away forever, and once it does, my North Kitten Star will begin a rapid, massive, and permanent inflation.
There are people who will someday achieve their quests. Then there are people like me, who have no hope at all of ever getting something so expensive. ._.
And the fact that so many other people are in love with the same item is also very discouraging, because it's like...I don't matter. It's hard to explain, but I feel like...since I'm not one of those people at the forefront of the "I want this" parade, people don't think I deserve to even fantasize, and that I should just...keep quiet and stay in the corner. That's how I feel, or at least the best I could explain it. *shrugs*
The point is, I want something I'll never have, and it's bothering me. Just like it always does. And don't tell me I'm underestimating my abilities, because I hate when people say things like that. >.< I don't know why I'm even posting this, other than that I needed to post it somewhere...
