"Grah!" Adie called out as she was tackled from behind. Miraculously, she was able to stay on her feet, though how this was accomplished, she had no idea.

"Oh, not to much," she said with a small laugh as she realized it was Sammy.

"You?"

"Oh yea? Well, I'll have to go meet him in a little bit...I'm starving right now," she said with a laugh, motioning towards the kitchen for Sammy to follow her if she wanted.

"Did you get to talk to Jack yet?"

Ike, as usual, was hanging out in the loading bay with Typhlosion. He had found an old portable TV which had an antenna. He sat atop a flipped mettle bucket with his feet perched up on a wooden crate, his back leaning against an oil barrel. The reception on the TV was scratchy to say the least, but it still worked. The news was on.
"Oreburgh City officials had a scare last night when a blackout threatened security at the Mining Museum. An investigation reveals nothing was stolen, but steps are now being taken to prevent future scares." Gabby read the teleprompter behind the news desk. The TV went to shots of the museum and it's exhibits; one of which was the biggest diamond Ike had ever seen. His jaw dropped at the sight of the thing on the TV. Even though the picture on the TV wasn't the best, the diamond still shown with immense luster. It was about the size of a lounge chair.
"The Ark Diamond, the largest gem known in the 5 major regions, was at the top of museum official's worries." Gabby went on.
Ike could hear a whistle of amazement from behind as Typhlosion walked up to him.
"What's that?" he asked. Ike looked back at the TV.
"A huge diamond in Oreburgh." he replied.
The picture and sound the TV started to go bad. Ike got to his feet and smacked the TV a couple times to get it working again, but with no luck. He turned it off instead.
"But who would be stupid enough to try and steal something like that?" he asked out loud. Typhlosion shrugged. The two made their way through the HQ and to the common room.

The smell of something from the kitchen lifted Typhlosion into the air, being put in a state of perpetual bliss. Ike watched him curiously with one eyebrow up as Typhlosion floated into the kitchen, his nose following a heavenly scent of tasty food.
"...er, hey Sammy." Ike said, entering the kitchen as well.
Typhlosion landed in front of the fridge and then began to raid through it.
"How're you today." Ike asked.

Typhlosion found what his nose was looking for, a large chocolate cake with green sprinkles on it. Ike caught a glimpse of it and sighed.
"That was going to be for St. Patty's day. Guess it's too late now." Ike said. Typhlosion turned to Ike with puppy eyes and Ike shrugged.
"Share with the rest of the team." he told Typlosion. Ty looked over at Sammy with the same puppy eyes.
"Alright." Ike told Sammy, finally answering her question. "We're about to take a field trip to Oreburgh though. Ever heard of the Ark Diamond?" he asked.

Ike scratched his left bicep and looked around, observing an empty HQ. He rolled his eyes.
"Maybe when the whole class shows up." he punned.
Typhlosion dove into the chocolate cake, fire rising out of his back in delight. Ike was more of a vanilla man himself.

"Yeah, he mentioned to me something about taking some leave time." Ike recalled. "We'll just have to step it up a notch with him absent... speaking of leaving, do you know what ever happened to Shelly?" Ike asked.
Typhlosion ate half of the large cake, stumbled and fell on his back, rubbing his tummy. Ike through him a napkin to wipe the chocolate frosting from his face.
"You better hope we have milk..." Ike commented. Typhlosion's eyes widened. The chocolate made his thirsty as all get out, but he was too full to get back up.

"Hi Ike," she called out excitedly as she came out of the kitchen with a large salad in front of her. Sitting down on the couch, she took a rather large bite, making a 'mmmm' noise before swallowing.

"What's this I hear about a field trip?"
