I think I have a picture of my personal scarf floating around somewhere...
Ah, here it is! (Please ignore the furry floor.)
It's something like five or six feet long? I like long scarves. And the rainbow is probably three inches wide. (There are really six colors in that rainbow, I promise, the blue is just kinda close to the violet and my phone's camera didn't pick up the difference well.)
There's another scarf in existence that I made with a slightly altered pattern so it was an inch or so wider and it was some ten feet long.
My personal scarf doesn't have a back on the nyan cat, but I'll put one on yours to hide the embroidery lines and knots on the back, it looks more professional that way, it also helps keep the feet in place because I'll sandwich their tops between layers, my scarf's feet like to turn in a lot because I didn't bother to put a back on it.
I can alter colors and size and everything to what you like! I just might have to talk my beau into going out to a real city so I can snag colors if I don't have them.
I'm an artsy crafty kind of person, I consider crafting to be one of terribly few things I'm actually fair at.

And I can make it wider no problem! It doesn't even require much change in my pattern, I've done it before, mine is just thinner because it was the first run of the pattern and I like my scarves slightly thinner.
Ohh, that's pretty spiffy!
At the moment I don't have anywhere I can put a rug, though.
Every floor of my trailer is carpeted except the little hall in front of our front door (where he have a spare piece of carpet laying most of its length) and my bathroom. Yes, even our kitchen is carpeted.
Anyway, it's your choice, you can surprise me, whatever you want to do~
I'll get a place where I can put a rug, eventually, or I'll make a place to put one. cat_razz
