Damrius raised a brow at everything, and then snickered a little.

None, none at all. Camp will be up ahead as far as we can get. We will move into the night untill an hour and a half after sunset, find camp in some woods, and go over the battle plans. I'll explain how to easily kill these buggers without using all of your energy up - Because you have a different kind than I do, they might be able to suck it from your body, and make you use your physical energy as a supplement for the energy you gather originally... I'll explain it later. Just... pack up, and let's get going...

I need to get myself a gun... totally go all out and make them eletrifying bullets... heheh...

Sutii would hear Damrius mutter under his breath, and snickker again, a smile on his face as he turned and would wait untill they were finished packing before moving on again.

Sutii sighed and began the arduous process of re-equiping everything while the Dragon neatly re-packed his bag. Despite the sheer amount of weaponry, it only took around five minutes before Sutii was back to looking normal.

With a smirk, he replied to Dame's muttering.

"If we get out of this alive, I'll buy you a freaking gun SHOP."

And with that he walked past Dame and began heading in the direction he had pointed, the dragon following - though not without doing that "bubble" breaching thing again to show the elementalist that he was wearing a very smug grin.

Obviously he was happy. Of course, after dumping an entire arsenal like that, I'd be pretty happy myself.

Damrius smirked, and thought about the Idea as he started to follow, his hand on the hilt of the Vengeful the whole time. It was smaller, faster, and a lot less... living.

*several hours later*

Damrius laid his bag down on a clearing not too far from the road. He wanted to be seen, and also be able to hide if needed. As he bent down to pull out the tent he had in his bag, which was largely just a line of rop that would have heavy leather thrown over it, and fairly large, he tossed the bundle to the side, and reached in, pulling out three of those quickstart logs, wrapped in paper and soaked with lighter fluid. setting them in a pile, where there had once been an original fire pit, for the place had been used before, he grabbed his bag, and snapped his fingers, sparks of lightning igniting the paper, and the fire blazing to life.

Sweet. I didn't think tha would actually work. So, I suggest you, Dragon, please get dinner ready. I'm not sure of what to call you, so if you want me to call you something else, I can. If not, then i'll stick with dragon.

Damrius plopped onto his bag, and the sound of things shuffling around inside seemed to be more than the bag itself could hold. as he unbelted his sword belt, he let it fall to the ground, pulled off his gnawed on boot, and tossed it into the bushes. He then reached for the zipper, and pulled it back, a boot half popping out of it already. He pulled it out, finding it to be the right boot, and slipped it on. Followed by his coat, he dropped six silver throwing knives to the ground, all in their easy access chest holsters, and then three stainless steel ones from his left boot. Seemed he had a decent arsenal of his own, just not as big.

So. After supper is ready... we talk about everything you need to know about these guys.

despite the darkness, Damrius was still wearing his sunglasses.

Dark Conspiracy
Madison had then looked up from her tears and noticed that their was another woman standing above her. The rabbit looked at her in a rather unsure manner as she brushed some of her hair out of her face, only to be curious on who this is.

"And who are you?" Madison sobbed slightly as she finally managed to clear her face. Now she didn't look like a sniffling idiot. Madison adjusted her clothing and the fixed her glasses. She had never seen this individual before in her life.

"You aren't the voice I heard."

The woman's lips didn't move, yet Madison would hear the voice none the less. And yet... it wasn't quite in her head either. The voice sounded young, childishly young, but the woman in front of her was a full grown adult, appearing to be in her mid twenties.

"I'm Lei-Lei! Commander Shin sent me to find you! You ARE Madison aren't you? Oh please say you are! You look just like her! Or at least what he described... And I was so happy to think I'd succeeded on my mission already and-- Ohh, you ARE Madison riiight?"

Now of course, after what had happened to her earlier with the slight freak out, Madison was even more weirded out. But if Shin sent this woman for her, she couldn't have been bad. No, that wouldn't be right. Slowly she nodded towards Lei-Lei, still being uneasy.

Now the next task was to figure out how to communicate back with this girl, would she just talk or think? Finally she managed to be able to figure something to say.

"You know Shin?"

There was some rustling under the black robes as a young girl of about 8 years in age, stuck her head from around behind the tall woman. As the silent lady was tall, so this girl was short. Making her seem younger, maybe 5 or 6. The child had long pink hair that fell in curling waves to her waist. A braid on either side of her face, tied off with white ribbons. She wore a white lolita dress and bonnet. Peeking out from the bonnet, was two fluffy white rabbit ears. Pink eyes peaked up at Madi, sparkling with delight at speaking to another rabit girl. Aleina was the youngest member of GUARDIAN. Attached to her choker made of ribbon and lace, was a charm with the Dark Sakura's emblem.

"Yes! Shin shin is so very nice! He plays with me sometimes, so I said I didn't mind doing him this favour of finding you! He also promised me a bag of sweets when I get back! Shin picks the best sweets!"

The child practically BOUNCED with energy as she chittered away at Madison, still half hidden by the older woman's skirts.

Madison smiled at the sight of the rabbit ears on top of the small girl's head. Another rabbit, just like her! SPLENDID! The girl had then sat cross legged on the ground and looked at Lei-Lei curiously, why was she hiding behind that woman? Why was she wanted? There were so many question that was buzzing through her head, and yet none of them were answered yet.

"It's nice to meet you Lei-Lei!" Madison grinned happily showing the tips of her bucked teeth to the girl. The feeling of anxiety had seemed to flutter away now that she had something to keep her focus on. But still there was much more she wanted to know.

"Why does Shin want me to come back? Does he miss me that much?" Madi cocked her head to the side as her question came up. She tapped her nose slightly as she continued to sit on the ground, she did too miss Shin. But usually he would find her if he missed her that much. But of course, that man was always full of surprises.

"Shin misses you muchly! That's true... he said he would have come himself but he can't leave the guild right now because the Sierra lady is missing and--"

"AHEM."

The taller woman cleared her thoat in subtle reprimand. Madison wasn't one of them yet... and nobody outside GUARDIAN was supposed to know that Sierra was MIA. Lei-Lei winced visibly and then scooted out from behind her partner and over to crouch beside Madi, whispering in her ear.

"Umm... but that's a secret okay? ANYWAY! Shin asked us to come find you, he wanted to know if you would help? They're accepting new members into GUARDIAN right now... which they haven't done in a long time! But Shin thinks you could be one of us! So, what do you think?"

Aleina finally seemed to breathe as paused, hovering and waiting for Madison's response.

Madison sat rather wide eyed and stared at the younger one, she had never heard of what GUARDIAN even was. She never had heard Shin talk about it before, but what even got her attention more so was that Sierra was missing. The rabbit began to think rather seriously as she drew her attention to the ground, not sure how to respond.

"Well...if Shin thinks I can do it, I guess I can try my best to help out." She responded after a long period of concentration and thought. However, Madison still had no idea what exactly she was getting herself into. But whatever it was, she could only hope she could help.

"You can work with Lei-Lei!~"

The little rabbit girl squealed in delight! She of course didn't know what unit Madison would be assigned to if she passed the entrance exams, but she could hope they would be in the same division!

"And we can have tea and sweets for lunch together!"

Aleina was already thinking of all the wonderful things they could do together in their spare time. She'd never seen another Bunny before, as her parents had died when she was but a babe. Aleina had begun her training from the time she could control her motorfunctions, and was the youngest recruit ever to be inducted into GUARDIAN... but despite that she was a highly skilled special agent... she was still just a child.

"So, when do you want to leave?"

She squeaked excitedly.

"Whenever you would like me too" Madison grinned rather largely, she was very excited about this new organization she was going to join. Before long though the two rabbit girls had each others hands and were jumping around in circles happily, with their ears flopping up and down.

"Andwecangototheparkandplayontheswingsandeatcakeandbuildasandcastlewe'llbethebestoffriends!" Madison's bearly made sense to the untrained ear a** she began to rush through her sentences rather quickly, she only did this when she was excited or nervous. Laughing, Madison stopped bouncing in circles and began to listen around. She was looking for that voice again. But there was nothing, she was allowed to leave. She was allowed to leave Latent finally.

The idea of this made Madi grin even more wickedly than before. She than crouched down to Lei's level and grinned even more widely, looking rather goofy in doing so.

"Let's go!"
PostPosted: Sat Sep 01, 2007 7:49 pm

"Andwecanplayontheroundaboutandfeedthebirdsandhaveapicnicandgeticecream andofcoursewe'llbefriendsforever!"

Madison's excitement quickly caught on and everything that was running giddily through Lei-Lei's head came out in one long stream of unbroken thought. She huffed and puffed a little catching her breath, since she had seemingly forgotten to breath amidst all her happy thoughts and the jumping about in circles.

"All right!"

She would cheer as she high fived Madison and then scrambled up the older woman and perched on her shoulder as if she belonged there.

"Shall we go purchase supplies for the journey home Lady Aleina?"

"Good idea Ali! We need more sweet buns after all!"

"Yes... sweet buns."

Alice sighed, sweet buns hadn't been what she meant, but the young lady was incouragable when it came to such things. It was a miracle the child didn't have any cavities!

Alice looked around for the cat girl who had been with Madison and didn't see her. Shrugging it off she steered the girls towards the market where they could restock before setting off.

Madison soon began to follow the two with her hands behind her back with a skip, she wasn't entirely sure where they were headed but that didn't really matter. But she only followed with a skip in her step.

"So where are we going for stuff?" Madison asked as she looked over to the rather quiet woman, she didn't seem to say much. She then leaned over and looked up at the woman, hoping to see some sort of response.

"We're going to the market to buy provisions and then we'll go down to the docks and secure passage on a ship bound for Dar'n'ak. We can travel through to V'enir and on to the Dark Sakura fastest by that route."

Alice's face was neutral as she spoke, her voice was soft. She was in every way, a contrast to her young charge, giving their partnership balance.

Aleina rested one hand on top of Alice's head comfortably as she played lookout. Neither of them had ventured to Latent before, so this was all rather knew to them.

"To the right Ali! I smell a bakery to the right!"

Turning to the right and walking for a few more minutes through the crowded streets, the trio came to stand before a bakery emitting sweet smells of freshly baked goods.

Opening the door and holding it open for Madi, a little bell rang overhead. Alerted to the presence of customers, a jolly looking old baker took one look at the ladies and smiled.

"What can I do ye'fer madams?"

Madison's nose was practically in the baked goods, it all looked delicious. Of course, Madison wasn't buying, she was just along for the ride. She began to dig through her pockets as though looking for a way to pay the girls back.

She managed to pull from one of her pockets a button, three and a half gold pieces, a spring, and a rock. Slowly she turned to Alice with her opened palm and offered it to her.

"This is all I can afford to pay you for the buns. So I'll eat this much worth...which is....I dunno." Madison remained holding her hand out kindly, she was insistent to pay for her share.
