Haru started to bring the staff up, but thought better. He knelt down and held Xiadessa's head gently. He looked to his sister expectantly, who nodded. He smiled deeply and hugged the girl in his arms.
Hikaru looked to Nergal. "She is free of the Medium now, she poses no danger."

Xiaedessa opened her eyes to see Haruko's hair. She reached up and felt it, so soft and silken She frowned, her eyes tearing up, her voice weak and scratchy "Haruko. My Haruko. I'm sorry, it's over between us..." She forced herself to get up, and took a step before her legs gave way and she fell to the floor

Haru caught her "Why are you sorry? She is gone, of course it is over."
Hikaru solemnly looked up. "Haru." She said slowly. He looked to her in confusion until she explained mentally.
"No." He said suddenly. "Why?" His eyes burned as tears came to them. He ground his teeth and a miserable groan came through. The necklace grew once more in an attempt to protect him. Soon he was adorned with the armor. He sternly wiped the tears from his eyes and stood, setting her down first. Without a thought, he was gone. Hikaru cried out as she felt his connection sever once more. She attempted to force through the blockade, only to find there was not one. It was as if he had ceased to be, as if he was... She glared accusingly at the girl on the floor. "I was wrong. You are more deavastating now than you ever were as the Medium. I suppose I destroyed her too late."

Xiaedessa's eyes widened as he went through a transformation "Haru-sama.....I couldn't protect my Haru-sama......." The tears were overflowing "After all I had fought for, after all I have prepared for, I could do anything but sit there and watch as you and Haruko were being ripped apart emotionally by that thing! I kept screaming to stop, but I was powerless. I...I don't know what I would have done if something had happened to my Haru-sama, if that demon had used my body, my power, to do something even more dreadful to him. That's why..." She turned to Hikaru, her face contorted with anguish "I wish I hadn't fallen in love with him!" She suddenly climbed up, hysteria taking over "I want to be with Haruko! But Haruko will die if I am with him! I want to tell Haruko how much I love him! But Haruko will be crushed if he loves me!" She was yanking at Hikaru's torso, then passed out, still clinging to Hikaru's shirt. She was whimpering, muttering Haruko's name.
As the bell rang to signal the next class, a short, thin girl with her hair pulled up into a single large ponytail, left the Counselor's office and headed down to the gym for her sceduled second period PE. Her demeanor was quite withdrawn, and she looked to be extremely quiet and reserved. Equilaura entered the gym and changed out, but upon seeing what she looked like in gym clothing, she was too embarassed and nervous to go out into the gym

Brutus smiled to Tony "It seems I have Mr. O'Connor for english, would you be able to show me where that is possibly?"
Nergal grabbed Cambyses by the arm "Hey, cutie, let me show you to your next class, it is PE, right? Right, that's awesome, I have PE too, we can work out together, hehe" He blushed as his comment was returned with an agreeable smile and nod, and he left the nurses office with him, his arm around Cam as if they were bosom buddies

Tony shrugged "Sure, seeing as how I have the same."
Hikaru took a page out of Xiadessa's book. She slapped the girl. "What are you thinking? He loves you no matter what you do. Telling him that you want to leave him again? Can you comprehend what he went through? He nearly killed your cousin defending your honor. He freely offered to die that you might live freely. He is not some weak little boy who needs coddling! He is a great warrior. If you loved him, you would have seen that. I hoped to call you sister. But if you think him so weak and beneath you... I cannot abide that. I will do my best to make him forget you. You will get your wish for him." A tear attempted to break free. She released the girl and began walking out of the room, her aura far from its normal serenity.

Bardok stretched and yawned, bored out of his mind. He and Izumi met up at their lockers, then headed out for battle class. "We better be doing some back breaking training, or else I am going to have to say this school is going soft."
""Bardok, it can't be helped, though this school is built like a fortress, disenged for the protection of the realms, there's still a lack of real fighters these days. The humans of this realm, not all of them could handle what we face, even back in our realm, the peace between all kingdoms has rusted our warriors. But in reality, isn't this what we fight for? "You have a point Izumi, but, in a world like that, there's no place for beings like us." She frowned. The beings from the future just followed quietly behind, while thinking to themselves on how peace still hasn't been achieved in their time.

Xiaedessa awoke suddenly as she was slapped. Her instict took over, and she stood up, wobbling a bit, then firm. "I see, so that is how it is then....looks like I have a mess to clean up." She closed her eyes and intensely focuses on the image of Haruko right before he had vanished. She knew it would take a few minutes, but she'd see him, and find him, and then she'd be there with him. She would not allow her visions to come true, he would not die, because she had also seen a vision of their life together. Slowly, an extremely blurry picture began to appear, and eventually, she could make out Haruko, but she could not place where he was. She intensified her streaming, to speed up the process. Either she'd find him and they would finally be able to be together, or she'd find him and die at his hands trying. It was the only way, she was not going to let him go, and her intense feelings of love and caring for him intensified the streaming, as the image began to clear up

Dolores walked into the locker room after hearing about a student who was shaking in the corner. She found Equilaura crouched in the corner, by her locker "You shouldn't be so embarassed, no one is going to say anything" She saw the girl's uneasy expression, and she went into the office, returning a minute later with a pair of long tights "Here, if you are not comfortable in the shorts, try on these."

Equilaura nodded and reluctantly went out into the gym, and sat on the bleachers on the PE side.
Cambyses entered the gym, and went into the locker room to change, Nergal still all over him. He was too clueless to Nergal's advances to realize what was going on, and he pulled his clothing off to change, not realizing he had no underwear on

The image had stopped clearing up, as if something was trying to stop her from seeing Haruko's exact location. She didn't give up, and, still focusing on the blurry image, teleported, following the image as well as searching for his signal. She appeared in a massive void, and suddenly felt extremely cold. she could not see anything. she looked around, ignoring the pain from the cold "Haruko? Haruko, where are you?" She began to wander around the place, aimlessly, yet bent on finding Haruko. She had no idea where she was, but she would not leave until she found him; her focus had taken him here, which means he either was there, still is there, or will be there soon. The cold was beginning to take it's toll on her body, despite her resolve and power, and she was going slowly, as hypothermia began to set in. Her vision began to blur, and she felt her consciousness give way, but she did not relent, as she kept on moving, "Must....must not....I must not give in......Haruko.....must find....my Haruko.....Haruko...." She kept moving, not stopping, despite the fact that the pain of the cold was excruciating. She saw a figure ahead, but she could not make out what it was. "Haruko....." She knew it might be a hallucination, but she would not believe it, as the figure off in the distance looked like the armored Haruko. She did nto stop, only kept moving toward it, not caring if it was real or not.

Xiadessa's mental form walked through a wall that held Haru's form. She then saw him sitting in front of a fire. His mental self was without the armor. He gave a faint smile as she entered his sanctum. "I guess I am a pretty big idiot. I have tried so hard to make you love me... Now I have pushed you away."

Xiaedessa shook her head "No, you are wrong, it is I that am the idiot. Here I was feeling guilty for allowing Medium to use me to play her sick games with you, for having visions of your downfall, when really, deep down, I was fooling myself. In reality, I was guilty for trying too hard to handle what I could not at the time. I don't care anymore about all that, I know I can handle whatever is thrown my way, as long as you are with me. I have forseen my future with you, and I won't let you go!" She did not approach him, as she was not yet sure if this was a hallucination or not "I tried so hard to keep from hurting you, and instead, you were the one subjected to constant pain and torment, all because of me. After that, I could not forgive myself, and why should I have? I should have been strong enough to handle it, to stop Medium, but in the end, I was a victim of my own underconfidence in myself. I want nothing more that to be with you, to watch the sunset in the cave behind the waterfall with you. I wanted, so bad, to just be a regular woman, to truly love without all of our powers and abilities and such getting in the way." She began to tear up, though she was fighting it back to the best of her degree She ran to him, but stumbled due to the stiffness in her legs.Suddenly, she felt something deep inside, a lingering pain, something she had so longed to ease."I kept telling myself that by pushing you away, perhaps I could handle the fact that I was weak, and be able to see you live safely and happily. But, I was just lying to myself because I could not accept the weakness of my own heart. But, I am not alone. You too, must be going through the same inner struggle, with the weakness of your heart. I guess that is what defines the difference between regular love, and true love. I truly love you, Haruko. I will not be defeated, even by my own weak heart." She smiled gently, suddenly feeling a burst of warmth. She held her hand out to him "Take my hand, please, I wanted to show you something before"
Xiaeriene headed into the gym and found Nergal in the boy's locker room, staring at Cam's butt, which was bare without underwear. She smacked him with a paper fan and drug him out of the classroom "Damnit, you queer perv, we've got some training to do!" She spotted the elementals enter the gym, and she headed over to them, still dragging Nergal "Hey, that lady, Sinagame, wanted me to find Vain. Nergal and I are going to be in your realm training with Asuka, Shizue and the stupid c**t. You guys should come too, Combat class hasn't been to combat-oriented lately"
