"I mean no offence but turning into a gaint bat like creature with an enormase blood lust kind of makes you forget about everything else that is going on around you and makes you focus on finding a cure." Shadow said as Athuam apeared behind him.

"I missed you to. Things where difficult during my travles. I could have used your company." Neferata said as she put a free hand around Valaryia.

" As well you." She said giggling as Ichigo and Dante left.

" Wow what great words to say. And to think you would remeber after you remembered what happened at the whole New Years Party with Vickilyn." She glared.

Valaryia smiled. "Anything I can do for you makes me happy." She nuzzled her way to Neferata's cheek and kissed it. There was no way her feelings for Emilie could be legitimate romantic feelings. Because what she felt for Neferata was far more intense than anything she'd ever felt.

As if on cue, the back door slammed. Valaryia bolted upright in her chair, tearing herself away from Neferata as soon as Emilie came in. But it was too late. Emilie saw.

Valaryia turned around to look at Emilie. She wore her usual expression of superiority and haughtiness. There was no sign she had been crying. "Oh no, don't break for me," Emilie said, as she sat down at the opposite end of the table. But something was different about Emilie. Her energy spoke of a greater... confidence. Immediately Valaryia got very nervous.

"My name is Emilie Williams, in case you hadn't heard," Emilie told Neferata directly. "And that woman your sleeping with is actually named Victoria Lamwood. Sorry that she gave you a fake name. She used to only do that for one night stands." Emilie smiled. Valaryia bit her lip and gave a sideways glance at Neferata.

Neferata sat up straight and turned to face Emilie. "I heard your name and I know why Valaryia adopted her name. I know of her past and alot of other things that have just recently come to light and I don't really care about that. She has changed and that is something you can't acept isn't it." Neferata said with a half smile.

Shadow walked over to Kitara and gently shook her. "Are you ok? Wake up." he said.

Athuam and the other wights had assembled. Athuam gave them all the information Shadow had given. They nodded and started to prepair themselfs.

Emilie's lips were sealed tightly shut until she spoke, where she broke into a knowing smile. "Perhaps you know not all. You may know Valaryia, but I know twenty-four years of Victoria. I know how she is. I give you a year at the most." She shrugged lightly, simply. "Or... less. Depends on whether you forgive her for what she's done to me in your absense."

A surge of adrenaline shot through Valaryia. No. No no no no. Don't ruin things now. Not now that things are so good again. "I didn't do anything," Valaryia seethed. "It's what you did."

"It's what you certainly didn't fight!" Emilie laughed, shrill. "It's what you told me felt oh-so good. It's when you told me how tempting I was to you." She got up, exiting the room. "I'll leave it to Neferata to decide whether she'd rather stay with the most promiscuous of whores."

Valaryia's heart hammered. There were so many ways this could go. Damn Emilie. She had ruined everything.

Valaryia looked at Neferata, both in relief and in shock. "You really... you really trust me that much?" she asked weakly. She has no reason to trust me and yet she does...

She took Neferata's hands. "I do swear that I didn't do anything. She's been completely unreasonable. She tried to... I said no and I took her off me, and this is really hard for me to do." She shook her head. "Not that I wanted to, mind you. It's just hard for me to say no in compromising situations." Valaryia brushed away some of Neferata's hair. "But I love you so much that it seemed not worth it. And it isn't."

Valaryia leaned in and kissed Neferata. A real kissed. It occured to her that they hadn't really kissed since she had gotten back. She scooted closer to Neferata and wrapped her arms around her waist. Pulling away, she whispered, "I... I should go practice. Training my manipulation." She briefly kissed Neferata on the lips. "I'll be in my room if you need me."

"I trust you because I love you Valaryia. What kind of relationship would we have if I didn't trust you?" Neferata said smiling. "You go and train now. I'll help Shadow out with what ever he is doing." she said as Valaryia left the room.

"Owe ********." was all Shadow managed to say as he backed up. He didn't want to hurt Kitara but he would defend himself if he had to. His hand dropped hown to the hilt of his sword, waiting for Kitara to make the first move.
