((I'm keeping my promise...))
The sound of Aluure's scream strips the flirtatious glint from Kel's eyes. His face stern and serious, snaps towards the stairs like a bloodhound catching a scent. With quick and smooth movements he slips and tears himself from Luuva's grasp. Adrenalin shoots through his body allowing him to take the steps 3 at a time. Uncaring that Haseo was in his way, Kel moves him to one side of the stairwell with an absent hand. He ignores the sounds coming from below and who ever may be hot on his heels. Getting to the top his deep blue eyes do a quick scan of the hall and room but then train in on the heavily breathing figure of Aluure. Stepping around Diandriel, he does a quick pat along Aluure's sides as she still holds her ears. Small whimpers coming from her pale lips and that her eyes were wide with horror and fear is in no way comforting to him even with the absence of a wound he could see. Drawing the stiff body of his sister into his arms, he glances over at the fallen figure that is the Princess. Shifting his eyes to Arigoth Kel sternly asks, "What happened?!" a small growl rumbles along his words automatically with his need to protect Aluure and his sovereign.

Arigoth stands up and looks Kel right in the eyes his voice matching his sterness but with a bit of innocence in it. "I don't know, The Princess dropped to her knees. Then your sister had rushed over to help her and with one touch was leveled to the same state." He said quickly but calmly, "I don't know what to do, this goes beyond any of my experience." He said switching his eyes from Kel to Aluure and Diandriel and back to Kel.

((hey, D is probably busy as usual... and I have lots of family stuff happening too. I'm also trying very hard to keep my promise... burning_eyes -twitch twitch- and avoidance is a good way for me to keep my promise.))

((busy, ha, I wish >< I've been sicker then a dog and pretty much haven't moved for three days v.v kinda sucks >< and while i'm still feeling pretty drained I'll go see if I can scrounge together a post ><))

((ok, first, Haseo, backread, cause your post really really doesn't work with what our chara's are doing
also, eve, umm..ok >< I don't like the whole Aluure feeling the pain too, cause, well, Diandriel is closely tied to those trees because they are her home and what not. I do believe Aluure's power was only speaking to plants, and as such even with her gift teh trees screams would not be heard all the way in crossroads to someone with a slight touch of their gift, it just kinda threw off my scense of..well..everything when i read that part razz cause well, I always envisioned Diandriel beign the only one that closely tied to the trees of her forest, its kinda part of her character, always has been, she understands all the other trees, but she is the one person closest to the oaks that she can hear their screams from so far away, i've used it in rp's being and ya, like i said, it kinda messes with me brain to picture someone else taking that part of Dia's charater!))
Tim shrugs one slender shoulder. “The village is not that large, so obviously it can’t be far” she says in her blunt manner. “Only a few minutes walk east!”
Aros rolled his deep blue eyes. What a moron! Obviously this priest had not left his temple for too long, if he sought to imprison the chosen of water when the star was lit, and is he insisted on fighting in the Goddess’ forest, invoking the name of his own god. What blasphemy! One or both of the Elemental God’s must surely be boiling with rage. The muscles in his mighty arms flex and strain, the tendons becoming evident under his tanned skin. With a powerful pull, he frees his sword of the ice, fixing a glare on the fifth priest.
“Do you plan to give me a cold a pray that will kill me?” he asks sarcastically, as his eyes shift left and right, taking in the position of jets of water coming for him. Too easy! Only three, bah, they underestimated him. He spins quickly to the left, so that his back was to the jet coming from that direction, and flips around the center jet, which had been a little closer and thus reached his first. With the center jet past him he flips back to the center, standing calmly as the one from the left and the one from the right collide.

"Well then, shouldn't we get going?" Bayer asked, subtly shifting his weight over towards the door. He was anxious to be off, to be accomplishing something. His inactivity was bothering him, and more than even his lack of money. That was unusual. Bayer loved to do nothing, and he loved money, and trying to put one above the other was like trying to say the sea was better than the land. But at the moment, he could definately tell that it wasn't out of wish for monetary supplements that he wished to work. They'd been doing nothing long enough. It was time to accomplish.

((I was more figuring that Aluure heard them through Dia. The whole sensing thing Aluure has from physical contact. In my head I had it that Dia being linked to the Trees, Aluure Sensed it and in that one touch heard for that moment the screams of those trees. As for her being so affected, Aluure doesn't know it's the trees. She just heard A LOT of screams. If you were a kid, and you heard combined screams, screams of beings being killed or harmed to a great extent, how would you react? O.o` It wasn't my intention for it to seem Aluure is to be linked and hear them on her own. She only heard them through Dia. She's also hearing them in her head, not with her ears. But then.. she doesn't know that it's in her sensory power that's is her hearing for that instance.))

The Priest had already disappeared, He knew he could not defeat the man and ran his body now nothing but water Sifting through the forest to a nearby stream or lake.
Lost ... Thats The only Thing Duo Could think right now, He was LOST! in a strange place and he did not know if he was going in circles squares or triangles!
collapsing down on the dark side of a nearby tree Duo removed the hood of his cloak as he took in the last cool moments before the sun dried his bones.
"Oh How i do hate daylight, Night time is so much cooler ... and wet" Duo said as he yawned before his heavy eyes began to shut.
(I thought the Priest would make a Good Side Character ... a troublesome entity that might become Corrupted or such ? ... it would add some chaos to the order don't you think ?)

Also, Eve, I still don't like it, cause like I said it was still kinda Dia's moment and I wasn't planning on making it a big thing until later in the rp sweatdrop but thats kinda out the window I guess
Also, upon further reading, Arigoth, you may need to edit your post. Dia never covered her ears, Aluure did, and Dia never said anything about the trees, it was all thoughts, hence the italics 3nodding
I'll post later, at the moment a new episode of bleach is calling to me *gets drawn away*))

Once more Tim raises one of her delicate eyebrows.
"A little impatient are we?" she asks with a bit of a drawl, stretching out in her chair with a yawn. "There is no reason to rush. The night is spent, so I doubt you want to sleep, and there will be nothing to do until Diandriel returns" she winks open one red eye 'Pacing here and pacing in my home, its all the same to me" she chuckles
Aros breath heavily, fully spent from the ordeal. Apparnelty the water priests had grown stupid since he left. Bah, good thing he had come here then. He leans on the hilt of his sword, the red tip of teh blade sunken into the now wet earth as he catches his breath. Finally feeling more like himself, he straps the broadsword across his back once more and marches back towards Maedhros.
But he was distracted by some muttering his sensitive elven ears heard from just a ways off the path. He rolls his eyes and grins ever so slightly before moving to the side once more.
After a few moments of walking he comes upon the boy from earlier, slumped against a tree. Well, he sure didn't get far now, did he. Aros silently crouches down in front of his so that their faces were level.
"My boy, thats why you must keep to the paths! Unless you know the wood you will end up running in circles until you return to where you left off!" he says in his booming voice.

With a Start Duo's eyes shot back open and he woke with a start ... and a yelp.
He tried to get up quickly, however he found as he did he had a sudden head rush and soon found himself back where he started, sitting on the ground.
"Foolish man, Do you know its dangerous to sneak up on someone ... Especially sleeping" Duo said not knowing that the "Man" in front of him was actually an elf.
"For all you know i could have, Frozen your limbs off ... I can do that you know ... Don't think i couldn't" He warned, But his speech slowed down quite considerably when he saw how large the elf actually was.
(( Here is my post, i will not be on tomorrow! for it is Christmas's in Australia! ... I wish you all a merry Christmases biggrin ))

Aros frowns "Well thats not very nice, to threaten the person who drove off that freakish priest that was after you" he says, purposefully making his tone slightly hurt. He sits back on his heels and rubs his ankles, which were still a little chilly. 'Anyway, your friend already tried that. Didn't work out to well!" He rocks back forward so that he is again looking Duo in the eyes, studying the newcoming intently. "You really don't know much about the Emerald Wood do you kid!" he says, referring in hindsight to his calling Aros a man.

Duo Groaned and looked up, He had not realized he had been rude ... It was not in his trait to care about anyone, No one around him had ever cared about him in general only his power ...
"I didn't notice it was you, it was a bit hard to concentrate when your running away from a peruser. And besides those guardians are weak, they are nothing but minions" Duo said as he looked towards the burning sun and sighed.
(( i thought since the sun takes water from the earth, Water elementals would find that during the day there powers weaken slightly ... and at night they are at full strength it would be a good tax on using there powers ))
"And No, i have never been outside before i have not been aloud to see the sun ... or the trees ..." Duo Groans again and rubs his skin, he was sweating "Is it always this taxing ..." He asks.
