*Than gladly took control of his head again. He rotated his neck, listening to Gabriel in a rather uncaring manner. He didn't much care for chatting with Gabriel* Good for you, but don't think it'll stop me. I have a bad habit of getting out of these situations. I came here for a reason and I intend to ful fill that. *Than tugged lightly on the shackles, as if testing their strength, even though he knew he couldn't break them right off. At the mention of maybe getting free, he paid a "little" more attention* Just ask them. I'll see then whether I feel like answering.... *Than turned his head when he heard Galette's voice. For a good while, Than's gray glare seems to fall silently on Galette*

*kaiori forms in another hall, she runs down the hall cutting down two more students, she fades from the hall into a main room, Dom is in the way of the next portal* wha ? *she starts to run but something trips her and she falls over, she's lifted slowly into the air, with what she doesn't know, she closes her eyes and curls up, she lets out a heart stopping scream as she's smashed into a wall, then the roof, then the floor and into yet another wall, Dom lifts her from the wall and pulls her forwards by the collar of her robe*

*he glares his golden eyes at her and shakes her slightly, swinging her over his shoulder he fades from the hall*

*Galette shakes his head* not "met" really... and Bayfire's memories show a lot about him.... when the shadows showed her ...him dying she screamed very loudly, even for her*he chuckles again and returns the boy's glare without blinking*

I see. So they mean something to one another I guess. Hmm.... but still... I doubt even she would know much "about" him. *Gabriel listened to Than's outburst and turned back to Galette* Well at least we know now how he's familiar with you stare

*Than rolls his eye at Galette, then blinks when he noticed the green haired (not sure if I remembered the right hair color sweatdrop ) Dom. Than raised his brow at the man*.....? *Than listened to Galette, his distaste for the man only growing*.... You would kill your own men all for training.... *It was more a statement than a question. He pushed back any sadness he felt for the moment in order not to show his feelings right out. He turned to Gabriel* Get on with it, Gabriel..... I have better things to do than stay chained here all day and night.....

*Gabriel chuckled as well* She doesn't give up easily. Oh well... as you said, you broke her before and I don't think she'll last forever a second, or third was it, time. Thanks for the offer..... but my fists are usually enough for the youth. But I'll keep your... "tools" in mind. *Gabriel turned with a glare to Than when he out right orders Gabriel to get on with it* Watch your mouth kid.... I took you down, so you'll answer to me now. *Following up his statement, Gabriel struck Thanatos hard across the cheek with his right hand* Now..... You said your name was Thanatos. What exactly "are" you, human...... Do you really think your run down race could accomplish anything here, an academy of combatants?

*Gabriel snarled lowly at Than*.... a half breed.... just wonderful.... *Seemingly unprompted, Gabriel starts to barrage Than with several punches at seemingly impulsive intervals. Was it Than's confession that he was half human that set Gabriel off, or was it something else? Either way, Than was going to end up with several more injuries before this ordeal was over. Gabriel stops his assault for a moment* You think you're so tough huh? Well from the looks of it you've definitely got a teenaged perception of mortality. Guess what kid..... you're half human and that makes you mortal. You can die while others can't..... but maybe it takes experience to know stare I can tell your other half in angelic of some sort. Keh... I wonder who's corrupted the races now. I'll make your stay here impactful to your beliefs... you can hold me to that stare *Gabriel pulled out a cig, lit it, took a breath, and breathed the smoke right in Than's face, which was already half struggling for air*

*Gabriel chuckled* You think I'm trying to "convert" you with envy? Far from it kid. I think you're trying to be some kind of knight in shining armor to the world, even if you don't know that's what you're doing. But, I'll show you that the one that's right isn't always wearing the flashiest armor. You'll see. I'll find out just what it is you believe in and show you how much of it you've made up for yourself.... *With one last exhale of smoke at Than's face, Gabriel turned and vanished to another part of the temple. He planned to set himself up in a fight against Than..... and he could make a spectacle out of it if he fought in the temple*
