Darius sat there listening to the story. He felt the same way about his power too. He wanted to control the demon inside of him.
"I feel the same way about controling my powers as well," he replied.
He smiled too, he was normally a happy guy but sometimes his powers made him feel down sometimes.

Lily looked over at Darius, "Yah, so these powers can be used for good, or not used at all." She smiled knowing exactly how Darius felt. Under the table, where Setari couldn't see Lily slipped her hand into Daruis's hand. Lily looked him in the eyes, she wasn't sure how he was going to react, but she remaned calm as though nothing had happened. "So what brought you to Ria Setari?" she asked breaking eye contact with Darius and looked over at Setari.

Darius felt her hand in his and blushed slightly. Her hand was warm and it was soft. He felt so calm as he sat there. He turned to Lily his crystal eyes staring at her. Why was she doing this? He was unsure about what was going on.

Lily laughed, Setari probably wondered why, but she had acomplished what she had wanted, she had gotten a reaction out of Darius. He had no clue why she had done that. She looked at him again and took her hand out of his. then gave him this puzzled look, What? she asked silently as he sat looking a little confused.

Darius stared at her blankly. What was she doing? Why was she doing this. He sat there his blush still there he was moving his fingers catching up at what just happened. Then he looked back at her and mouthed the words, "What do you mean? What?"

Her smile grew, she really had him confused. Who knew that liltle thing whould do so much? "Nothing, I'm sorry" she mouthed back. She really like Darius, and needed to ask him something......so she moved over so she was next to and reached for her bag. Once she had it she moved back to her spot by the table. She pulled out a pencil and a small book and quickly scribbled a few words on it then handed it to Darius. It said:
Have you heard about the Summer Festival?

Setari half ignored the question as he watched the silent exchange between the two sitting across from him. Lily shifted a bit, Darius blushed...he'd seen it before; or so he thought.
"I dunno what I'm doing here," Setari finally responded in a new low and quiet tone. He shifted unneasily for a second before snatching the ash tray off the table harshly and rising to his feet, "I'm gonna get some fresh air," he assured them calmly already directing himself for the door. He took steps towards it and again dug a cigarette from his pocket. He didn't use his lighter this time, but as he slowly lifted the stick of tobacco to his lips it lit on its own at his command. He took a drag and felt a little better as he approached the exit...

Lily jumped up and followed Setari. "Hey" Lily said catching up with him. "Hey what's that all about? One minute you're fine and the next your storming away, whats up?" Lily looked concerned. "And how did you light that without a lighter?"

Setari peered over at her from the corner of his eye, inhaled, tilted his head back and blew a fine stream of smoke into the air above. Some students in that area protested - it was the non-smoking section - but he payed them no attention.
"I'm surprised you would come after me so quickly, leaving 'yer boi' behind at the table." He meant his words to be cutting and cold, showing distain for potential competition. "As for lighting mai cigarette...why does it matter?"
Setari stepped away from her, again going for the door. If she follows me outside I guess I'll talk to her for a bit longer, he thought...

Lily laughed and followed him out the door, "Is that what this is all about? Look I was just ahvin some fun, I'm kind of a spur-of-the-moment kinda girl and he was sitting next to me, so I wanted to see what would happen if I put my hand in his hand." She sighed. "I don't know, I just do that kind of stuff all the time, like sitting down next to you. I didn't think you'd actually let me sit with you, but I'm really glad you did."

Darius looked at the paper. He heard about it, he just didn't know why she asked. He took a pencil and started to write on it.
Yes. Why do you ask?
He passed the paper back to her and stared at the roof of the lounge.

Outside was nice, a little hot, he thought, but a comfortable heat. He could see the occasional effects of the wind as it passed over trees, grass and other greenery. Birds sang there annoying and repetitive songs here and there, a squirrel scurried away up a tree quickly upon seeing the two students, and other kids were heading toward the entrance to the lounge from various parts of the campus. Setari stood facing Lily.
"Well, if that's how you are..." he leaned towards her and kissed her before she could react. Then retracting he turned back away and leaned against the building, propping one leg up, still holding his cigarette in his left hand he shoved the other into his pocket. He squinted his eyes a bit as he looked back at Lily in a playful coordination with the devilish smile on his face. It was now his turn to see her react...

Lily was in no way ready for what was comming next. Her eyes went wide then relaxed as he pulled away. It wasn't that she hadn't liked it, it had just caught her so off guard. She sort of smiled, a kind of goofy smile. "Well...." she said at a loss for words.

Lily looked a little embarrased wearing a silly smile. She coould only muster one word. Setari's eyes turned calm and kindly again, "Awwwe, yer cute, you know? Come sit down. I won't do that again unless you ask, ok?"
He sat down on the soft ground and smothered the half smoked cigarette butt into the ash tray, which was resting lightly in the thick tufts of grass next to his right knee.

Kurai walked in, confused by the new faces. "Man...I leave for a while, and Ria's overrun by new people...geez!" He sat down on an empty couch and looked around. "At least it still looks the same..."
