Greed slept soundly, twitching at odd times yet that was the extent of his moving. Having a roomate wasn't so bad afterall, yet he had only had Envy in his bed twice. As for being there everynite, well, he was sure that it wasn't going to happen, but the kid was welcome to come over so long as greed wasn't in a foul mood, or he had a special 'guest.' Greed rolled over onto his other side after Envy left his arms, his hair falling slightly askew, his lips partially opened as his breath flowed easily. He really did look more calm and relaxed, almost as if he was an entirely different person, when he was asleep. Greed, however, never slept for long, during the day, and as he woke he rubbed his eyes, flicking his hair out of his eyes as he glanced around. Envy was not beside him, though as he turned, he frowned and his eyes flashed dangerously. He was actually going through his things.

"What in the hell do you think you're doing?"

Greed asked through almost clenched teeth, his voice low, seemingly calm, but cold and seething. He grasped his sheets so tightly he was sure that he was ripping the expensive fabric though he was beyond furious.

Envy, who was oblivious to the fact of how angry Greed was, smiled brightly. "Oh! I was just looking that's all. I didn't want to wake you and I didn't want to go out of the room, so I wanted to take a look around to see what interests you!" He smiled again and kept looking at some of the stuff. He really had no idea that Greed was pissed, which is probably be bad sense Greed was in fact angry and probably ready to kill right now. He looked back over at him." I saw you have a stash of that drink, what's it called....scotch? Well I figured you would sense you like it so much, but I didn't touch it because they are made of glass!" He giggled cutely.

Pain giggled, standing back up as he watched Fever bring his eyes back up to look at him. Not that Pain had thought that it was a bad thing or that he had been making fun of him, but Pain just wasn't used to it, and didn't want for Fever to think that he had to look at the ground all of the time. Pain sighed, shrugging as he wondered if the sins wanted them all to look down. He certainly didn't.

"Eh, i never do that."

He said with another musical laugh, though on second thought maybe that was why he was beaten so much. Nah, that was jsut because Greed liked to do it. Pain wondered why Fever seemed so nervous, or hesitant around him, but Pain just wanted for the male to have some fun. He deserved it. Pain hugged him once more, keeping him close as he rested his head down otno Fever's chest, mostly because it was at his height.
Fever had been about to reply when he caught sight of Greed -- carrying Envy, along with quite a few shopping bags -- making his way upstairs. The underling seemed to freeze for the several moments that it took Greed to pass through the kitchen and out of sight. Then, slowly, the teen went back to 'normal,' a slow, shaky sigh emitting from between his lips.

"Sorry, guess I'm still... a bit edgy around him," he murmured, his nervous laugh accumpanied with a slight flick of his wrist as he tucked pale hair behind an equally pale ear. Personally, he didn't think he'd ever feel comfortable around that particular sin.

And then it hit him -- he wanted to get out of the house, to go away. He didn't want to be around while Greed was there. "Hey... Pain, I'm think I'm gonna go to the grocery store to, uhmm, renew the supplies. Want to come with me?"

[ sorry in advance for the erm...language DX ]

The sheer fact that Envy was still among his things so obliviously was the straw that broke the camel's back. greed was off of his bed in a flash, and he had a fistfull of Envy's shirt. This time he was the attacker, like the man before him had been. Greed backed him up against the wall, his eyes flashing once more, narrowing as he held him tightly, desipite his thin body, and pushed him against the wall once more.

"Let's get one ******** thing clear. Dont. Touch. My. Things."

Greed said, making sure to accentuate each word with force so that Envy would get it through his thick, sugar coated skull. Oh Greed was in a rage, more angry that words really could even begin to describe. Greed tossed Envy harshly away from him, hearing him hit something though he didn't care. He grabbed his cigarettes, shoving one into his lips before lighting it, though didn't think that even the slim white stick could calm him down.

Pain glanced towards the two, following Fever's gaze, and sighed as he saw a sleeping Envy, and a strangly calm Greed walk into the house. Though, he seemed to be heavily sedated with the booze, so it made sense. Lucky for them. Pain glanced back to Fever and nodded in understanding, and hugged him softly.

"I know. It's ok though, i think he's going to sleep. Plus, hey, i'm that way around Lust, so you're not alone."

Pain said, trying to make it seem better than it was. He knew that it would be hard for Fever, and he didn't make any excuse for it. He would just be there to help him through it. He blinked as he heard Fever's suggestion, the invitation, and with a smile he nodded. However, not too long after he heard some sounds, not too happy ones, and a few crashes from Greed's room with his sensitive ears. He paled, and thought that it was better that they leave now.

"Yea, let's go."

He said, grabbing Fever's arm as he decided to tug him towards the door.

Fever nodded slowly. It was... ironic. THey were both skittish around each other's masters, and yet the two underlings always seemed to get along nicely. Perhaps they were just different enough from their sin leaders to make a friendship work.

Fever, who was unprepared for the other's sudden grabbing of his wrist, only just managed to grab his wallet from the kitchen counter top before Pain dragged him out of the house. He gave the other a weak smile. He, too, had heard the sounds comming from Greed's room and was not at all reluctant to leave in a hurry.

"I don't envy Envy right about now..." he said quietly, cringing slightly at the thought of just what might be happening to the sin.

[ i'll make one post for each character & then i'm off. i'm beat ]

Pain wasn't so much afraid of Lust like Fever was around Greed, he was just aprehensive since he knew that if he was around him, those feelings, the odd ones, might resurface before he had a chance to forget. So, for the time being he was ignoring him or just not trying to run into him, even if he still intended to appologize for his actions.

Pain hadn't thought about a means of pay when he grabbed Fever, though was glad that Fever had acted quickly and got his wallet in time. Pain knew that he hardly had enough money, though for groceries he was sure that he could use the sin credit card and get away with it. He sighed, and loosened his grip, though was hesitant to completely let go of the other underling's arm.

"Yea, i agree. I'm curious but..not that curious."

Envy was shocked by Greed's behavior. He didn't think that he wouldreact to Envy just looking at his stuff. He hit the ground with much forse and yelped in pain. He looked up at Greed while he lit the cigarette and tears came to his eyes. He sat up and was still a little shaken by what had happened. He stood up and walked over to him and stood in front of him for a few moments before raising his hand and smacking him across the face. Imediately after he ran to the door and straight downstairs into the kitchen. He saw Pain and Fever standing in there, but he ignored them to go and sit at the table and bury his face in his arms.

((Alright, good night. <333 ))

"I can guess well enough," Fever replied slowly, brushing back pale bangs with his free hand. They were getting a bit long -- his bangs, not his hands -- and kept getting in his eyes... he'd have to cut them before long, but wasn't exactly in the mood at the moment. "Envy probably did something to piss Greed off, and with their natures... well, my guess is Envy finally woke up, saw something and got jealous and tried to steal it. And, given how Greed is always so protective of his... property, it's not hard to guess his reaction...." Of course, all of this was mere guess work, but Fever didn't know just how close to the truth he was.

He gave the other a quick smile, then, before he slowly allowed his hand to slip back until his long, slender fingers were gently closed around the other's wrist instead of Pain holding on to his arm. With this new arrangement, he led the other off towards the grocery store. Despite his frail condition, Fever could set a rather brisque pace.

[ mkay, last post. nite! ]

Greed's number one rule had always been for people never to touch his things. They were his and no one else had the right to them no matter who they were or thought they were. Greed exhaled a small stream of smoke, though he knew that it would only take time for him to calm, and even then he would still be just in a pissy mood and have a grudge against Envy. And that was a shame, since the male had been doing such a good job too. Greed watched the sin approach him, and though he hadn't been expecting the hit, he was all at the same time. He smirked, raising his hand to his cheek, touching the spot on his tanned skin which was now marred with red.

Greed sighed, exhaling once more as he began to sift through his things, sinc Envy was known for stealing and he would be damned if the kid had taken anything from him. It was his personal belongings, and though the things that were really special to him wern't just laying around, everything that he had didn't belong to Envy, and he had no right to go through it. Greed sat back down on his bed, slowing falling back untill he felt his head hit the silk sheets, and he sighed as he stared at the black celieng. In fact, his entire room was black. The sheets, the pillows, the walls, the celieng, everything. Greed detested having anything bright and obnixious around, which almost summed up Envy perfectly.

So far, he had already driven away two sins in two days, as well as one underling that just so happened to belong to one of the sins.

He was on a roll.

((Goodnight! I'll see you))
Envy sat at the kitchen table quietly with his face buried in his arms. He didn't steal anything, but he knew telling anyone this would be useless. Because of his nature to steal things, no one would believe him anyway. He sighed and looked at the stairs. He wanted to cry, just because he was so naive to the feelings that others show about the stuff he wants. He refused to cry though because he didn't want anyone to walk in and see him crying. He didn't like that Greed treated him that way, he really didn't do anything wrong. He sighed and wondered what he would do. He thought that maybe he should just go back to hell and be lonely like he was before, at least no one was mad at him there, or that he knew of. He got angry thinking about the whole situation and stomped upstairs. He went straigh into his own empty room and slammed the door shut and locked it. Sense he did not have a bed he curled up in the corner of the closet and slammed that door shut so that he could be alone for a while.

Pain sighed and nodded. Almost a bit too predictable, though what did the two expect when those two sins were together? Either Greed had done it just because he was drunk and thought that Envy was taking something, or Envy had really been taking something because of his nature and they all knew to stay away from Greed's stuff. Pain had already felt the wrath of Greed more than his fair share, and though he was glad that it had been awhile, he felt a bit guilty or bad for Envy. The sin seemed nice enough. When Pain heard Fever speak and voice nearly the same thoughts that he had brewing in his own mind, Pain just chuckled because of the irony, but it made sense.

"That's what i was thinking."

Pain said with a small smile, though really did feel bad for Envy now. Pain had been looking straightforward, though he turned when he felt the slim hand around his wrist. A smile crept back onto his face, as did a small flush, but he giggled and matched Fever's pace with ease.

Greed sighed, having already gone through half of the pack of his cigarettes as it was. He was still seething, and he had gone through his things twice to make sure that Envy hadn't stole anything. Envy always stole, and though the sin always said that he was his favorite, Greed knew that the little brat would steal from him in a heartbeat. Greed hadn't been in the wrong. Even if he had, he didn't really care. For as much as he liked Envy there were more things about him that drove him to the brink of insanity. Greed smashed the end of the last burned out cigarette into his ash tray, sighing as he sat up. Well, he better not lost Pride as well or else Greed really wasn't going to have any more friends in the house.

The sin hopped off of his bed, rummaging through a few dressers, not really quite remmebering which one he had put his special stash in. He grinned when he finally found it, and pulled it out. Greed knew that he had a few choices. He could get completely smashed with the liquor that he owned, or he could get high out of his mind with his drugs. What a decision. Greed took a glance at the white power in the small ziploc bag, so pure, like perfect snow or a bag full of sugar. Greed smirked and cleared off a section of his table, pouring out a small bit. Using the edge of his credit card Greed seperated it into different lines, around eight total from what he had poured. Placing the card aside Greed leaned down, using his left nostril to snort up two of the lines. He sighed and wiped his nose, leaning back as he rubbed his head and allowed the drug to start, though he knew that he would need a few more than that to get him feeling oblivious.

After ten minutes Greed had finished, and made his way over to his bed, laying down on the silk, chuckling to himself as he stared at the celieng. He felt so free and uninhibited of everything around him, as if he didn't have a care in the world. He knew he wouldn't feel so hot after he crashed, yet he had pleanty to keep him feeling great all day. Maybe he would just pass out from drug overload. That also would have been nice. Greed chuckled once more, though brought a few fingers to his nose and wiped away a small dribble of blood that had trickled out of the nostril he had been using before.

((Ewww. Drugs = nasty. D: ))

They arrived quite quickly at the grocery store -- fortunately it was close, or it'd be a very long distant to carry groceries. He pulled out his wallet, releasing the other's wrist as he quickly fished out the long list of groceries. Fever's wallet, like everything else that was his, was incredibly neat and organized, with no clumps of anything. It was clean and tidy, with bills in one spot, change in another, a pocket all for receits, one for lists of what to buy and another for his various identification cards. This was totally unlike Lust, who hardly ever carried around his wallet (since he could usually charm his way out of paying). When the sin did, he complained loudly at the inhibitions a messy wallet caused. Occasionally, he complained so loudly that Fever had to organize it for him.

The underling quickly took one of the carts and began combing the store for the needed groceries. He seemed very... single-minded when it came to tasks that needed to get done -- it was as if nothing else existed. Only as he once more caught sight of Pain behind him did he seem to remember he was there. The teen blinked slowly, a small flush forming on his cheeks, before he quickly asked the other to go get several groceries (all of them meats, as Fever would not step over there since the smell made him feel sick), saying that he would be in row seven getting some select things there.

[ xD erm..of course >>; ]

Pain just smiled happily, his eyes flicking to things here and there. The hum of the cars, the swirl of deadened leaves falling to the ground only to be whipped up once more by the gusts the cars caused. Pain wasn't that fond of cars, since they seemed to make such messy problems. Not to mention they were dangous. The underling liked to walk everywhere, and oddly enough most of the sins did as well, except for a few. Pain dug his free hand into his pocket, following along beside Fever, though the male did have a hard pace to match, and since Pain was such a good deal smaller it make him feel almost breathless.

However the store was not too far, and as they headed in he had a chance to catch his breath. Really he didn't know what they were looking for, since Fever had the list and Pain didn't think of anything off of the top of his head that he really desired. He followed along behind Fever, who seemed to be so preoccupied in his task that he must have even forgotten that Pain was along for the ride. The thought made Pain flush. Trying to brush it from his thoughts, since he didn't want to begin to feel unwanted or unneeded all over again he just followed, trying to make himself of some use though it was obvious that Fever was doing a good job and could have even gone along himself. The only need for Pain's appearance was for him to fetch the meat, and he nodded as he ran off to get it.

At least it made Pain feel semi-wanted. He hummed and selected over the meats, picking out the best from the look, cut, and date. He was used to it, and only to get the best for the sins. He gave a polite smile and dashed off with his things, heading back in the mentioned row to meet with Fever.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 10, 2007 2:15 pm

Fever had finished getting bread, got the cereal, selected some choice fruits ripe for the season, and was currently shoveling some candy into a bag (since, with the addition of Envy, they would certainly need it) when Pain returned. The underling gave the other a small, grateful smile and said, "Sorry for... losing trak of... you." He flushed slightly with embarrassment, but managed to hold the other's gaze. "I get very... single-minded when I have a task. It goes with the name... Fever. Like a feverish obsession, I suppose," he said rather weakly, a light smile on his lips as he tied the candy bag and set it in the cart.

He looked down at the list then and murmured to himself, "Let's see... what else... mmm... Could you get some frozen foods? Anything you think the sins and other underlings would like -- just something to be cooked quickly, particularly since Gluttony tends to overlook frozen foods. He says they're aren't to his taste, though he still eats them sometimes...." Fever trailed off slowly, reaching up for another couple bags of coffee grounds -- only the best, of course -- to but with the other groceries. "Let's see, I need to get some sauce stuff next, so I should be in row ten... meet you there?"

Pain found him easily enough, and set the meats down into the corner of the cart Fever was pushing. He looked over all of the items inside, knowing that the candy was mostly for Envy, and that made him chuckle softly. Maybe Pain could give him some in a small peace offering since he knew that the male would be upset. Pain was just a people pleaser, despite his name, which basically came from his own hurt and agony over the years, not that he doled it out to others. Pain glanced up, smiling as he shrugged and gave an understanding nod.

"It's fine. I tend to feel more hurt than usual because of my name, or it might just mean i'm a pain in the a**. Either one."

He said jokingly with a giggle, heading over to Fever's side as he hugged him softly. Pain knew not to take too many things to heart, though at times he did, and maybe that was where else his name came into play. Regardless, he knew that Fever had not done it on purpose, so he was fine and hadn't been feeling that bad as it was. Pain smiled and nodded, hearing what he was to go off and fetch. He also knew that Gluttony didn't care for them, or the time it took to make them, but he knew things that all of the sins and underlings would like.

"Of course. I'll meet you there."
