Bakura left the temple and was watching at the window of the abandoned house as Rei explained the gun. Shada took notice of him and alerted the others. Bakura watched them dully, as though they were putting on a show for his amusement. The pharaoh turned around to glare at Bakura, his back to Rei.

Rei getting pissed enough already shot the pharoh in the leg "dont ignore me!"

Atem reacted more in shock than pain, nearly falling off his horse. "What th--?!" He saw that he was bleeding, and then cringed at the pain.

Rei wished he was off the horse so she could have shot him someplace else..."thats a gun wound idiot.Though I do wish it was a shotgun they do so much more dammage.."

Bakura jumped out of the house, sitting for a moment on the windowsill, his pupils hardly seen, his hair and coat flaring out more than usual. He started to approach the three men on the horses, holding out his hand as though he was going to grab something. Shada pulled on his reins so that the horse reared up on its back legs, its sharp hooves coming dangerously close to Bakura's head. The pharaoh was still trying to decide how he should be reacting to this all, it seemed.

Rei watched bakura worried.He dident seem ok.the kicked the horse slightly trying to get threw them to bakura.

The two priests weren't sure if they should be helping the pharaoh or stopping Rei. Shada went over to Atem, and Mahado just sat there, looking uncertain. Bakura turned as Rei approached, and stroked the horse's neck. He swayed slightly, and glanced towards something invisible to his left.

Rei stoped the horse and down down standing beside bakura "are you alright?" she asked.
((rember rei's in a newdress and also has blood running down her forhead..))

[Remember that Bakura's on the verge of insanity and might not notice some things.]
Bakura looked at Rei and put two fingers to her forehead, then looked at the crimson on his fingertips. His eyes widened slightly as he was suddenly sent back, back to when he had seen so much of the rich liquid in that pot, soon turning into molten gold. He remembered how he had crept out silently after everybody left and had bowed down to the ground, peering at where some blood had carelessly been spilt and was in a dark puddle on the ground. He saw his face, his frightened expression and had lowered his head to lap at the blood of his family, friends, the other children of the village, everybody he had ever known. Now he found himself putting his hands to the back of Rei's head and licking the blood from her forehead, his lips brushing against her skin, his tongue flicking out to taste the metallic liquid.

Rei squeeked her eyes widenly slightly "Bakura?Are you feeling ok?" she asked gently putting a hand on his forhead.

Bakura's skin was hot to the touch; he was burning up. He had already broken out into a small sweat, which wasn't just from the sun. He tilted his head down so that instead of licking blood from Rei's forehead, he was brushing his lips against hers, his eyes closed. There was a silence, almost in awe, from the three others, even though the pharaoh wasn't too aware what all was going on.

Rei blushed "come on you should get inside" she said and took a hold of his hand turning twards the building.She stoped for a moment looking back to the tree "If you dont leave that hole is going to be in your head and not your leg" she said as she started to guide bakura inside.

The three, realizing the threat now, hesitated. Would it be fair to get a man when he was obviously not fit to fight back for himself, and they'd probably get hurt even more than needed in the process? No, they decided not. So they turned and left. Bakura put an arm over Rei's shoulders, shifting so that he nuzzled the crook of her neck.

Rei dident mind and led him into the building "you need to lay down.." she said a small smile on her face.

Bakura let go of Rei and went over to a square hole in the ground, lowering himself into the temple below, going down the stairs carefully. He walked past a few pillars and went to his stone tablet, laying down on it as he had before. His breathing was labored, his chest moving up and down as he tried to breathe normally. He felt as though he was being smothered by the emptiness of his old village, crushed by all the memories.
